"Hey Scarletrose would you like to come hunting with me" Autumnshine asked

And the two she-cats walked out of camp

And they hunted and caught four mice and two birds

They were now returning to camp

When they entered camp they dropped there prey on the fresh-kill pile

And the two of them walked over to the edge of camp

"Well how did it happen" Autumnshine asked

"This was when I was a apprentice but I wanted to make the elders happy so me and Silverpeace went out on a night hunt and I got attacked by a fox this was also before gatherings started but I was lucky to have been near the border the fox tore my ear and Cherrycall's friend Iceleap heard the fight between Me and the fox and he saved me but I got in big trouble for sneaking out of camp" Scarletrose said

"Wow but it sounds like you were a bad apprentice when you were young" Autumnshine said

"Yes she was" Cherrycall replied

"But then again don't all apprentices do something bad" Emberjump said

"I seem to remember one apprentice that got in so much trouble his mentor made him clean the elders den for his untie apprenticeship" Cherrycall said

Emberjump smiled

"Yeah I guess I made a lot of trouble" Emberjump replied

"What did he do?" Autumnshine asked

"Eating prey instead of bringing it back to camp crossing the border starting battles" Cherrycall answered

"And that's only some of it" Cherrycall said

"Seriously" Scarletrose and Autumnshine asked at once

"Yeah" Cherrycall answered

"I didn't know my mate was such a trouble maker" Silverpeace said

"So Scarletrose is there any other times you were a bad apprentice?" Autumnshine asked

"Scarletrose started up a conversation about how bad we were well we were paws" Cherrycall answered

"Autumnshine asked me about how I got my ear scar that's it" Scarletrose said

"I need to organize the dusk patrols" Scarletrose said and left the group of talking friends

"Alright Tinycreek you take Frozenleaf and Stagtail and go remark the border with dewclan" Scarletrose called

"And Primrosestep take Mintfrost and Nightfur and go remark the border with Pineclan" Scarletrose said

"Okay" Primrosestep replied

And Primrosestep and her patrol left camp

And Tinycreek took his patrol out

"We were talking" Emberjump said

"Well I wanted him to lead a dusk patrol" Scarletrose replied

And he turned around and went back to Cherrycall and Silverpeace and Sunheart

The next morning

She was now organizing the dawn patrols

"Galaxyeyes take Emberjump and Sunstreak and go out hunting" Scarletrose said

And she walked over to the warriors den

"Emberjump your coming hunting with me" Galaxyeyes called into the den

"To bad your going hunting" Scarletrose said

"Your serious being rude" Emberjump said

"By making you take part in clan life" Scarletrose asked

"Yes" Emberjump answered

And he came out of the den

"Fine I'll go hunting" Emberjump said

"Is Emberjump being a pain in the tail" Cherrycall asked

After she came out of the elders den

"Yes but you can rest longer" Scarletrose answered

"I know but I wake up at this time and I can never get back to sleep" Cherrycall replied
