His training was going quickly

Cinderfrost said he was already almost ready to become a warrior

Right now he was sitting with Rainpaw in camp

"Your going to become a warrior soon and then it well just be me and my siblings" Rainpaw said

"So did you make friends with Lionpaw" Rainpaw asked

"No but I met Maplepaw and Heatherpaw" Preypaw answered

Tonight was the full moon gathering

"Do you think Autumnpaw and Fallpaw well be warriors" Preypaw asked

"Maybe" Rainpaw replied

"That's not a real answer" Preypaw said and swiped a paw over his ear

He would be the perfect siblings to have he thought and smiled

"Preypaw Rainpaw come on" Cinderfrost called

Rainpaw had Shadowstalker as his mentor

They walked out of the den

"Have you met the odd gray Pineclan tom because I haven't" Rainpaw asked

"No I haven't either" Preypaw answered

They followed there clan-mate's out of camp

They ended up taking his idea to just live in there flood camp

The sky was kinda cloudy but they could still see the full moon high in the sky

They walked into the clearing where the gatherings happened

Nightclan wasn't there yet

The strange Pineclan tom was sitting with his friends

"Hey who is this" Preypaw asked

"This is Rockpaw he is a new Pineclan apprentice" Maplepaw answered

"I was what you would call a rogue before I joined Pineclan" Rockpaw said

"I hear the ancestors cover the moon with clouds when we fight but I have not yet seen it for myself" Rockpaw said

"You live on the moor right" Rockpaw asked

"Yeah and I'm Preypaw by the way" Preypaw replied

"Do you ever hear the whispers of the ancestors when it's quite or is that just me?" Rockpaw asked

"No I haven't heard anyone whispering on the moor" Preypaw answered

"Hmm so it's just me" Rockpaw replied

A golden she-cat came over

"Rockpaw are you confusing cats again" the golden she-cat asked

"I guess I'm" Rockpaw answered

And he gave the she-cat a lick on the ear

"I'm Honeypaw this tom's sister" Honeypaw said and pointed her tail at Rockpaw

"And you are the only one who hears whispering anywhere" Honeypaw told Rockpaw

"Well I'm Maplepaw and this is my sister Heatherpaw she doesn't talk much" Maplepaw said

"Hey Maplepaw" a dewclan apprentice he guessed was Lionpaw said

Rainpaw came over

"Skypaw is bragging about how big her last caught rabbit was" Rainpaw said

Autumnpaw and Fallpaw came over with a new scarlet she-cat

"Who is this" Preypaw asked

"I'm Scarletrose and she offered to introduce me to her friends" Scarletrose said

"Wait Scarletrose as in the deputy of Nightclan" Heatherpaw asked

"Yeah" Scarletrose answered

"Wow I get to meet a deputy from a different clan" Heatherpaw said

"Well I'm Rainpaw and this is my friend Preypaw" Rainpaw said

"I'm Honeypaw and this tom who is not paying attention to the conversation is my brother Rockpaw" Honeypaw said

"I'm going to guess you two joined Pineclan" Scarletrose asked

"Yes" Honeypaw answered

"I'm Maplepaw this Lionpaw and the apprentice that thinks it's cool to meet a deputy from another clan is Heatherpaw" Maplepaw said

"Let the gathering begin" Kinkstar called

Scarletrose walked over to the other deputys

"Nightclan is doing fine we have two new warriors Autumnshine and Fallpelt" Heavystar said

"Dewclan is also doing fine" Webstar said

"And so is Stormclan" Eaglestar said

"Pineclan is doing fine as well" Kinkstar said

"Well that was a short gathering" Webstar said

And the leaders ran down the hill

Eaglestar gathered up the cats of Stormclan and they went home

Early next morning

Today is my assessments Preypaw thought

But where was Cinderfrost

He waited in the clearing

He couldn't sleep last night so he rested in his nest until Sunup

A tired looking Cinderfrost came out of the warriors den with Wintersnow behind him

"Good your up now come on" Cinderfrost said

And they walked out of camp

"Hunting is first now go hunt I well be watching you" Cinderfrost said

And Preypaw ran down the hill to go look for prey he saw a rabbit he slowed down to make sure the rabbit didn't hear him

And when he was ready he ran at the rabbit it noticed him and tryed to run away but he caught it tumbling forward the rabbit in his jaws he tumbled right into a ditch

"Ha maybe your warrior name should be Preytumble because you seem to tumble a lot" Skypaw said

"Skypaw! That is no way to treat your brother" Wintersnow said

He got out of the ditch with his rabbit

And Wintersnow and Skypaw walked away

He looked at the rabbit he caught it was huge

He found a clump of Heather and hid his rabbit in the stocks

And he went to look for more

When he finished he had only caught one more rabbit and a scrawny mouse

They returned to camp to put his prey on the fresh-kill pile

And they left camp again to do the battle Assessment he did good

And when his last assignment came

"You are supposed stop Skypaw from getting to that oak tree" Cinderfrost said

And when he tryed Skypaw got passed him and when he tryed to get to the oak tree she found him quickly in the tall grass that shrouded the oak tree

They returned to camp

Cinderfrost was first to go report to Eaglestar

And when he came out Wintersnow went in

"Preypaw you failed your assessments" Cinderfrost told him

Failed maybe it's because Skypaw got in his way well he was hunting and she stole several pieces of my prey

Wintersnow came back out

"Skypaw you passed the assessments" Wintersnow said

His rude sister passing her assessments well he failed

I'm stuck a apprentice well she gets to become a warrior he thought

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting" Eaglestar called

"I Eaglestar leader of Stormclan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn" Eaglestar said

"Skypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan even at the cost of your life?" Eaglestar asked

"I do" Skypaw answered

"Then by the powers of starclan I give you your warrior name Skypaw from this moment you well be known as Skybreeze. Starclan honors your strength and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Stormclan" Eaglestar said

"Skybreeze Skybreeze" the clan cheerd

"Meeting dismissed" Eaglestar said

He lay in his nest turned away from the entrance

"Preypaw what's wrong" Rainpaw asked

"I don't want to talk right now" Preypaw replied
