And him and Skykit ran out of the den

"Skykit you have reached the age of six moon's and it's time for you to be apprenticed. Skykit from this day forward until you earn your warrior name you will be Skypaw your mentor well be Wintersnow, I hope Wintersnow will pass down all she knows on to you" Eaglestar said

"Wintersnow come forward" Eaglestar called

"Wintersnow, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Cinderfrost, and you have shown yourself to be a kind and brave warrior. You will be the mentor of Skypaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Skypaw" Eaglestar said

"Skypaw! Skypaw!" The clan cheerd

"Preykit, you have reached the age of six moon's and it's time for you to be apprenticed. Preykit from this moment forward until you earn your warrior name you will be known as Preypaw, your mentor will be Cinderfrost, I hope Cinderfrost will pass on all you know on to you" Eaglestar said

"Cinderfrost come forward" Eaglestar called

"Cinderfrost you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from spottedwhisker, and you have shown yourself to be Strong and swift warrior. You will be the mentor of Preypaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Preypaw" Eaglestar said

"Preypaw! Skypaw! Preypaw! Skypaw!" The clan cheerd

"Come on let's go out so I can show you the territory" Cinderfrost said

"Alright" Preypaw replied

And they walked out of camp

"Of course you know the way to the original camp which we don't use anymore" Cinderfrost said

And they walked off to a cherry tree that was on a hill

"This is the old Cherry it's been here for many Many moon's" Cinderfrost said

"Wow it's so tall" Preypaw said

"Now that's all the real landmarks we have so come on let's get to training" Cinderfrost said

And they walked to a clearing that was sounded by gorse

And when they got there

"Did Shadowstalker teach you how to run like a true Stormclan warrior" Cinderfrost asked

"No Softpelt did" Preypaw answered

"Alright then I'm going to be teaching you how to split a rabbit from a group" Cinderfrost said

And he showed Preypaw how to do it

And when Preypaw did it a failed

"Your doing it wrong" Cinderfrost said

"What is Preypaw doing wrong" Skypaw asked as she and Wintersnow walked into the clearing

"He is doing the move I'm teaching him wrong" Cinderfrost answered

"Now try again" Cinderfrost told Preypaw

And he did the move again and failed again

"Still wrong" Cinderfrost said

"I did it worse and yet you were calm about it so what's different about Preypaw" Wintersnow asked

"His mother could do it perfectly on her very first try so why his he different" Cinderfrost replied

"He is not his mother" Wintersnow said

I'm not exactly liking Cinderfrost as my mentor Preypaw thought

"It's going to be fun to go to our first gathering" Skypaw said

At the gathering

"Hey do you want to come over here" a ginger she-cat asked

"Sure I'm Preypaw by the way" Preypaw said as he walked over

"Well I'm Autumnpaw and this is my brother Fallpaw" Autumnpaw said

"And I'm Lilypad and I'm a medicine cat" Lilypad said

"And this is my first gathering as a apprentice" Preypaw said

"But what kind of parent would name there kit Prey" Lilypad said

"I don't know why my mother named me Prey" Preypaw replied

"Let the gathering begin" a gray tom called

"That's Heavystar the leader of Nightclan" Autumnpaw said

"And the white tom beside him is Webstar the leader of Dewclan and finally the dark gray tom is Kinkstar Leader of Pineclan" Autumnpaw said

"Stormclan is doing fine and we have two new apprentices Skypaw and Preypaw" Eaglestar said

"You didn't tell me there was another apprentice" Autumnpaw said

"It's just my rude sister" Preypaw replied

"Skypaw! Preypaw! Skypaw! Preypaw!" The clans cheerd

"Nightclan is also doing fine" Heavystar said

"And so is Dewclan" Webstar said

"And Pineclan is doing fine as well" Kinkstar said

"Well this was a short gathering" Webstar said and ran down the hill

And the other leaders ran down the hill

"well we got to go bye" Autumnpaw said

And her and Fallpaw walked off towards the other Nightclan cats

He said bye to Lilypad and walked off to his clan-mate's

"Where were you during that gathering" Skypaw asked

"Makeing friends that I probably won't have to fight" Preypaw answered

"What do you mean by probably?" Cinderfrost asked

"I mean two of them are on the other side from us and the other one is a medicine cat" Preypaw replied

"Well anyway let's go back to camp" Cinderfrost said

And they walked back to camp with there clan-mate's

Preypaw and Skypaw walked into the apprentices den

Preypaw walked over to a nest it looked like it was the most recently used

He lyed down in the nest

And went to sleep

He woke up to Cinderfrost calling him

He walked out of the den

"What?" Preypaw asked

"Your changing the elders bedding" Cinderfrost said

"Okay I'll go out and get some fresh bedding" Preypaw said

Once I'm done I'll get Softpelt some prey Preypaw thought

He found some sheep's that were walking over the moor

Oo a wool lining would make her happy Preypaw thought

And he grabbed the wool

And any extra well go to Ibistip and the kits Preypaw thought

And returned to camp

He walked to the elders den

He had collected a lot of wool so he could give Ibistip's nest a wool lineing as well

"Oh you brought some sheep wool for my nest that's kind of you" Softpelt said

"And all the extra well go to Ibistip and the kits" Preypaw said

And started to line Softpelt's nest
