It has been weeks since the Grimm attack on Vale. Since that time, Vale begins the process of restoring itself after the Grimm attack while preparing for the Vytal Festival. One day, Sasuke and Team RWBY were sent on a mission to investigate the security network in the Emerald Forest when it went down. As Sasuke and Team RWBY walked through the Emerald Forest, they spoke to one another.

Ruby: So what do you think happened?

Weiss: Grimm most likely.

Yang: Then this mission should be a piece of cake.

Blake: Don't get too cocky, Yang. We still don't know exactly what we may be dealing with.

Sasuke: Just keep your eyes out for anything out of the ordinary. 

Sasuke and Team RWBY soon approached the cave where the security control center was set up in. When they entered the cave, they eventually find the command center. The command center showed signs of damage.

Yang: Someone really did a number on this thing....

Suddenly, roaring was heard. Immediately, Team RWBY readied their weapons. Sasuke activated his Sharingan which allowed him to spot a horde of Grimm Beowolves approaching them. 

Sasuke: We got company. 

As Sasuke said this, a group of Grimm Beowolves began to surround them. 

Blake: Grimm inbound!

With that, Team RWBY battled against the Grimm. Ruby coordinated her team in battling the Grimm. At first, the battle went well for Team RWBY. But as the battle dragged on, more Grimm began flooding in.

Yang: These Grimm don't let up!

Ruby: We won't let them stop us!

Ruby sweeps the area with Crescent Rose, taking out a group of Grimm. Weiss follows through by using her Glyph Semblance to fire several projectiles at another group of Grimm. Blake and Yang launch their Bumblebee team attack with Yang latching on to one end of Blake's Gambol Shroud. Blake then swings Yang to create momentum for Yang's punch whilst firing Ember Celica, taking out several Grimm. Sasuke charges at one Grimm and kills it with a Chidori strike. Sasuke then jumps over another Grimm and plunges his sword through the Grimm's mask, killing it. Suddenly, the ground shook as a hulking Beowolf appeared. Unlike the others, this Beowolf stood on it's hind legs with massive green spikes on it's back.

Blake: That doesn't look good.....

The Beowolf roared as it charged at Sasuke and Team RWBY. Immediately, this Grimm proved stronger than the others as it tanked their attacks. With one sweep of it's arm, Sasuke and Team RWBY were swept aside.

Weiss: What....is that thing?!

Yang: I don't know, but it's big and pissed off!

As Team RWBY tried to formulate a plan, Sasuke began charging at the Grimm. Following Sasuke's lead, Ruby used her Petal Burst to spin around the Grimm, diverting it's attention away from Sasuke. At the same time, Blake used her Shadow Semblance to form multiple clones to swarm the Grimm. Weiss then unleashes a powerful Glyph attack using Myrtenaster. As the Grimm was barraged with the attacks from Team RWBY, Sasuke charged up a powerful Chidori strike. When he got close to the Grimm, he unleashed the full power of the Chidori strike on the Grimm, engulfing the Grimm with lightning. For a moment, Sasuke could feel the power Curse Mark slowly creeping it. Ozpin's seal managed to keep the Curse Mark at bay. Seeing that the Chidori strike wasn't enough, Sasuke leaps into the air and weaves several hand signs, spitting a stream of fire from his mouth, engulfing the Grimm in flames. As soon as Sasuke saw an opening, Sasuke prepared yet another Chidori strike. He then charges at the Grimm, landing a devastating slash with his sword before hitting the Grimm with his Chidori. That Chidori strike was enough to kill the Grimm. When the Beowolf was killed, the cave was cleared.

Weiss: That was...harrowing....

Blake: That Grimm....it was different.

Ruby: No kidding.....

Sasuke then walked towards the command center. At first glance, there was nothing out of the ordinary. However, Sasuke quickly noticed something inside the machine. Upon investigating it, he finds a device embedded in the command center. 

Ruby: What the heck is that? 

Sasuke: I don't know, but it seems to be the one responsible for shutting down the relay. 

Upon further inspection, they notice a strange symbol on the device. The symbol itself was a hexagon design with the letter m in the middle.

Blake: What's that symbol?

Sasuke: It's nothing I recognize. But if I had to guess, that symbol is connected with whoever did this.

Yang: That just leaves that....Grimm.

Ruby: Do you think they're connected? 

Sasuke: We shouldn't draw to conclusions yet. But what we do know that there's something out of place. 

???: Maybe we can help with that. 

As the voice called out to them, four young Huntsmen approached them. One was a girl with long black hair wearing a pale green vest and snake-patterned pants with a snake-patterned skirt over it, and a snake-patterned scarf around her neck. Standing next to her was a young man with short black hair wearing a beige shirt with two black stripes. Standing between them was a young man covered in bandages, leaving only his left eye and eyebrow uncovered. He also wore a large poncho with long sleeves, a snake patterned scarf around his neck, a straw raincoat protruding from the back of his scarf. And finally there was a young man with onyx eyes and ash-grey hair, which he normally keeps in a ponytail. He worse circular glasses along with a dark purple shirt with a high collar, a white under-shirt, and dark purple pants with a white cloth waistband.

Sasuke: Who are you? 

???: My name is Kabuto Yakushi and these are my teammates Dosu Kinuta, Zaku Abumi and Kin Tsuchi. 

Ruby: Your clothes are....nice. 

Kabuto: Thank you. We're natives of Vacuo. We were actually sent here to help out a Huntsmen team in this area. I'm assuming you're the ones. 

With that, Sasuke and Team RWBY had seemingly found allies in the form of Kabuto and his team. The mission was a success. What they didn't realize was that they had stumbled upon an evil plot that threatened the peace and stability of Remnant.
