Even when I was young, I had to help myself. My brother was named Dust Storm. I didn't know him long. My mom was Dancing Moon; my dad Purple Flame.

I could tell they loved me. I had a weird feeling they weren't telling me things. They all watched me day in and day out, as if they were worried something terrible might happen.

I lived in the woods in a little hut. All my family members were alicorns. I was away from everything. I didn't even know about Equesteria yet.

Then, in the middle of the night, The Flamers came. The Flamers were black male alicorns. they had a red flaming mane and tail. They were pure EVIL.

They dove in for me, blasting lime green lasers at me. My dad quickly dug a hole into the ground. Dust Storm activated a spell around it. I was trapped.

I screamed through it all, watching the Flamers kill my family and blow up everything in sight. They tried to get me but because of the force field, they couldn't reach me.

The Flamers disappeared , leaving me trapped, with no one to care for me. Eventually The force field fell and I was set free. I used the little magic I knew and placed eternal markers on the exact spot my family died. " I love you. I wish you could've told me more to get me prepared for this. " I sniffled to the fallen Dust Storm

I forged on for four years. I'm now 8. I was intelligent for my age. I hadn't ran into the Flamers since that tragic night. I've lived in internal depression. Every morning I visited the grave site of my family. I'd learned a lot of magic and became more wise.

" Huh?! Oh no! Is that.... No it can't be! " I whispered-yelled to myself. They had come back. I turned myself senseless and super speed flied as far as I could

They'd sensed my magic force. They flew full speed toward me. I flew with all my might for days an nights. I was exhausted. I finally found civilization half a mile ahead.

I set up a bad source blocker force field and fled into it. I was so scared I had crash landed and fell unconscious.

" Me oh my! It's an alicorn! Honey, come quick!" I heard an old filly pony say. I woke with a start. I looked around and didn't find the Flamers.

I looked around more confused than ever. I saw two old ponies with neither wings nor a horn. " You lost, young one. We don't get many visitors out here in the corner of Equestria." One of them said. I super sped away. I passed a sign that said " Ponyville" . I had no clue where I was. I saw a tree house castle. Then I saw a purple alicorn walk out.

My eyes were wide with nervousness." Hello young alicorn. I don't believe we've met. My name's Twilight Sparkle." The purple alicorn said. It was about to run again when I thought to myself " Why am I running? I've now found other ponies to communicate to. Isn't that my life dream? " " Hi, uh, I'm ,um, Delicate Snowflake." I said slowly.

It took a few days ,but I had learned met pony here and learned everything there is to know. I flew to Princess Luna's and Princess Celistia's Castle.

Later with permission and trust, I spread Equestria and placed an empty circle in the dead center. The main princesses turned the area into a new city for me to rule called Pleasantville.

We had a ceremony and I took over the job of ruling Equestria and the job of rising and setting the sun and moon.

" Hey sis." A familiar voice said. " Dust?" I asked confused. I turned. "Oh!" I exclaimed happily. I ran towards him with happiness. " I thought you died 7 years ago." I said. " No sis. The Flamers captured me and tried to turn me. What you saw was a decoy." Dust replied. " So....." I stammered " Is mom and dad really dead ? " I questioned. " I'm afraid so. " A tear fell from his eye.

Princess Celistia walked up to me." Queen Delicate Snowflake, there's a prophecy that has been fulfilled that is now okay for you to hear." She said. " Yes , yes what is it ?" I eagerly stated.

" Well, you read it for yourself." Princess Twilight said. It read " There will be a white alicorn to venture here for safety. She will be strong, with all abilities and all magic. She will become queen and have a city made in her honor. Her brother will return. She will live forevermore. Her name is Delicate Snowflake."

" Wow!" I said stunned. " This is true. Very true. We need you to live the best possible life. Keep up the force field to protect the citizens of Equestria. And most importantly, Don't get attached to the ponies. " Princess Celestia said. " Why?" I asked. " Because you will live forever. Ponies will come and go. Your job is to protect them." " Yes ma'am." " Oh and by the way, me mom and dad are the Great Three. Or at least we were. We were supposed to protect you. " Dust said.
