NightHeart POV

"HopeHeart, BrokenPelt, IcePaw, ElmBlaze, ClawFur, KinkPaw, BeeStripe, SwissPaw, NightSun, and BoulderPaw" I called out to the clan.

We were going to the gathering tonight, aka my first one as deputy since my step down from leader. the cat I spoke about quickly started getting prepared.

Soon it came time to go to the gathering. GrassStar started to lead us as I and HopeHeart followed her. The DarkClan cats were about and average apprentice age and size.

We soon arrived, I padded to sit under the rock that DarkClan made oh so few moons ago. "Let the Gathering begin!" FlowerStar yowled. " I'LL begin!" LightStar said arrogantly.

"LightClan is doing better then any of you obviously! but due to DARKCLAN," he sneered looking at me " VICIOUSLY attacked us! they almost killed one of our warrior!" He lied through his teeth.

"We did no such thing! LightClan trespassed into OUR territory and marched up to OUR camp an attacked us!" GrassStar yowled angrily.

"Standing up for your leader?" LightStar taunted. "MY NAME IS GRASSSTAR!! NightStar has stepped down and is now NightHeart!" No cat chanted or spoke.

"DarkClan! this gathering was over before it started! we leave now! But watch your backs, DarkClan is prowling.." GrassStar growled.

We all prowled off stalking into the shadows of our territory.

-timeskip to when they get to camp.-

I sighed. 'why is LightClan so unfair?' I thought. 'ill just go hunting to clear my mind' I padded out of camp to hunt.

I did the type of hunting I did when I started DarkClan. I caught a vole and a pigeon. 'I should start considering mates, ElmBlazes nice. but so is ClawFur. Ugh, why is this so hard?!?' I though angrily.

I sat in the dark shadows as a plump squirrel came by. I chirped. starting the squirrels attention as it came by slowly. as I stopped dead in front me i could slap a paw on it.

I unsheathed a single claw and stuck it in the squirrel and picked it up and un-dug my other bits of prey. I padded to camp but smelt FRESH fox.

I ran to camp threw my prey into the pile and called a meeting. "I smelt fresh fox scent. I want KinkPaw, NightSun, and ElmBlaze to chase or kill it." I announced.

Said cats followed me. we tracked the scent and found the fox. NightHeart sprang onto the foxes back. ElmBlaze clawed the foxes eyed blinding it. "KinkPaw! use those moves I taught you!" NightSun yowled.

The fox threw off NightHeart. it clawed with the first cat it could make out. "ELMBLAZE!!' NightHeart wailed as the fox clawed ElmBlaze face then picked him up and shook him.

NightSun clawed the foxes muzzle opening it and letting ElmBlaze go. KinkPaw and NightSun soon killed the fox and helped NightHeart get a passes out ElmBlaze.

They all had bad injuries. After they limped to camp everyone gasps. "what happened?!? come here!" HopeHeart wailed pulling them inside her den.
