Lord Power stormed through the castle. He had always wanted to kill those powerful children. He remembered what his grandfather had told him, "He was my dearest friend. We fought together in the war. He once saved my life. Good old Linus. Don't know where he came from, Tristan." The talk went on like that. His demented grandfather would talk of nothing but fantasy, "He walked down on a staircase of clouds. Can I tell you a secret?" He would ask. "Yes!" Lord Power would reply.
"There are Gods in this world, Tristan." With that he would close his eyes and go to sleep. Only the last time... He never did wake up...
Nowadays his grandfather's ghost haunted him asking why Lord Power's life went wrong, why he was evil. Now he would show his grandfather that he was doing fine...

"Huh? I was sure the door was here a moment ago?" Angel stared; confused. Before they knew it, a beast knocked them off their feet. The lights went off. Someone screamed...
By the time everyone had come back to their senses the lights were back on. Linus sighed. Disasters were the worst thing that could happen to them. No... It could have been worse. What was it? Towering over them was a Nightmare Beast - made to show your darkest fears. Everyone else apart from Linus was caged up. There was an abundance of cages - big, small, fire cages and water cages. "Linus!" Yelled Summer - a creative girl with a great knowledge of beasts - "Don't look at its eyes..." But it was too late. Linus had already looked into the dark abyss of its eyes. With a blinding flash the beast showed off its omnipotent abilities. Nightmare showing.
Voices cut through Linus' skull:
"Traitor"
"Murderer"
"You left her to die"
He withered at the grief he was experiencing. Cunningly, the voices were of his friends. "Linus fight it... Its not true. I forgive you," called out a voice that had sprung from the jewel around the beast's neck. Mithryan.
"Jewel? It can't be!" Linus ran up and snatched the gem off.
"Stop it, Lord Power!" He yelled cutting everyone free.
"Linus, what in the world..." Muttered Schroeder.
The Nightmare Beast vanished to reveal Lord Power looking as smug as a prim pig. "Guys," a gesture of peace followed, "I only want to kill you all. No harm done."
That was the signal for everyone to run to the docks where a boat called 'The Wishful' was waiting.
