As I walked through the Ruins with Flowey in the crystal vase, I soon was in a long, dark hallway of the Ruins.
"Thank you for trusting me thus far, my child," she cooed, a hint of sarcasm in her tone. "Now, I want you to walk to the end of the hallway by yourself." She looked at Flowey. "He doesn't count as somebody." She turned and walked away, disappearing into the darkness. I took in a deep breath and started to walk to the end of the hallway, emitting a bit of my fire so I could see. Flowey was shaking with fear, but I still showed my determination and bravery. Suddenly, a Froggit hopped out of the shadows, growling and ribbiting at me.
"A Froggit!" Flowey cried in alarm. I smiled and set him down. He adjusted a bit in the vase, watching me worriedly. I soon entered a fight with the red Froggit, eyes fixed on it. I soon had my options and decided to give a compliment.
"You're a flattering shade of red," I said with a soft smile on my face. Froggit looked at me, confused. It seemed it wanted to try and understand what I said, attacking with flies. I spread my wings out and dodged the attacks with such ease. I smiled, giving the compliment again. Froggit tried even harder to understand what I said. It attacked again and I dodged. I smiled and said it a final time. Froggit finally understood what I said and was very flattered. It ribbited a "thank you" and became a white Froggit again. I smiled and let it sit on my shoulder as I went and grabbed Flowey. Flowey looked smug.
"Something tells me this world isn't 'kill or be killed' after all," he said. I smiled at him, my tail swishing as I soon went to the end of the hallway. Froggit soon hid in my bag, falling asleep innocently as Toriel stepped out from behind the pillar.
"Hello, I see you made it here without a scratch," she taunted. "Anyways, I did this because I need to attend to some things, you must be alone for a while." She got an idea. "Ah, I know, I'll keep in touch while I'm away." She gave me a shiny black cell phone and soon walked away. I smiled and sat down.
"Let's try to get some sleep, guys," I said sweetly and quietly. My eyes were slowly closing shut as I became a real Light Fury and curled around the Froggit and Flowey, falling asleep with them.
The tentacles swayed as he watched me, his eye closing as he went deep in thought. 'This girl is quite impressive,' he thought. 'I wonder if she can save even somebody like myself.' He sighed as he worked on his things, eye looking at an old photo he still had of him and his brother. 'Looks like you may see me again after all.'
