Ahsoka's POV
"Congratulations on crashing yet another ship," My Master turned to side eye me after he wiped the look of fear from his face, replacing it with irritation.
I shrugged and stood up with a stretch, avoiding the hunk of metal sticking out from the ceiling — we may have had a crash landing, "They said to get here quickly and I did." Sure the ship didn't make it, but we did, and that's a win in my book.
He stood up as well, sighing and cracking his back and neck to relieve the stiffness of stress, "How could you even tell, their transmission hardly made sense," He waved his hand to move debris from our path so we could, "Let's go see what this is about, it makes me nervous that I was contacted by Rex and not Anakin."
"Or (Y/n)." I followed him out of the ship.
He nodded, agreeing, before pausing with his hands up as soon as we were hit by the planet's light. I looked at what had him put up his defenses when I saw many of the 501st clones pointing their weapons in our direction, "Woah there, it's just us."
They dropped their weapons almost instantly, Jesse and Fox took their helmets off, "Our apologies, we weren't sure it was you." Fox addressed us with an apologetic smile.
I knitted my brows and turned to face our broken ship, "There's a Republic symbol right on the—" It was burnt off... "My bad," I slowly turned to Master Kenobi with an innocent smile, "You're not gonna tell them it was me, are you?"
"Don't worry my young Padawan, I'm sure I can blame it on Anakin somehow," He responded with a heavy sigh, "Speaking of, where is he?" He asked the clones. We eagerly waited for the answer.
"The General and the Commander are over here," Jesse motioned for us to follow him with his weapon.
They led us not far from where we crash landed, thirty yards, give or take. That's when we saw Rex standing guard of Master Skywalker and my best friend, both appearing to be unconscious. Skywalker is laying on the floor, pale and sick looking; and (y/n) held his head in her lap with her hand tightly gripping his left arm.
Their appearances make me nervous, she looks healthy but tired, and he looks like he's knocking on death's door.
"What happened to them?" I questioned Rex the closer we got.
"Don't move," Rex demanded, pointing his blaster in my direction.
I paused with wide and confused eyes, "Rex—" He fired and I only had time to hold my breath. For a single second I thought I was young to die, but the shot went past me. I heard it, it sounded like electricity scorching the air.
"Sorry Commander Tano," Rex lowered his weapon, "Those things are everywhere, and it feels like the more time passes, the more I'm starting to see them." My Master and I turned to get an idea on what he was talking about, but we didn't see anything, "You won't see it. But they're bugs, wasps it looks like, and one stung the General according to the Commander." He gestured to them.
My Master glanced at the sky, a small gust of wind swayed his hair to one side, "It seems like a storm is headed in this direction. That's why you're seeing so many right now, they're moving away from it."
"I figured as much, and they're stings are fatal General. I've lost two men in the past hour that died minutes after being attacked by one," Rex turned to glance at Skywalker and (y/n), "I've been keeping them away from them, but as I said before it looks like General Skywalker has already been stung. I don't know how he's still breathing."
"And (y/n)?" I asked, bending down next to my best friend to check for any visible marks. I felt more relaxed when I didn't find anything, but I was still worried for them both. He didn't look good and I didn't understand the strange state she was in.
Before Rex gave me the answer I no longer needed, a pair of steps caught my attention and I shot my eyes in the direction of a twi'lek woman. She came towards us with a frustrated glimmer in her eyes, "Captain Rex," She sighed, "If you would just let me look at him, maybe I can help."
"The Commander gave me specific orders to have General Kenobi aid General Skywalker, not you." He snapped.
I raised my brows, I wasn't used to seeing Rex so stern and impatient. I have a feeling this nurse has been on his nerves about this since it happened, she looks stubborn, "Master, what's wrong with her?" I asked, nudging my head towards my friend. The nurse was annoyed that she was dismissed and ignored. It looked like she was gonna stomp away, but her eyes shifted to Skywalker and she remained in place.
I see what this is, she has a crush. I wanted to laugh. She has no idea that he's already spoken for, at least that's my theory.
Master Kenobi bent down next to me and tapped (y/n)'s cheek, twice, "Why are you slapping her?"
"I'm not slapping her," He defended himself with a small eye roll, "I was seeing if she would wake up, but she's in some kind of deep slumber—what do you think you're doing?" He quickly questioned when we both noticed the violet Twi'lek bent down in front of us and grabbed (y/n)'s wrist from the hand that was tightly holding his arm.
She tugged, but (y/n)'s hand wasn't loosening, "He's going to die if he doesn't—" The Twi'lek screamed when she was swung back by a strong force push.
It wasn't my Master nor I that did it either.
We both ignored her groans of pain and a clone went to help her. She should have listened, "Now I see," Master Kenobi walked around to the other side of the pair and eyed her hand on him, "I'm guessing this is where he was stung. She's using the force to stop the venom from spreading."
"But why is she unconscious?" I tried to understand.
"It's her body's way of preserving energy. The more energy she has, the longer she can keep him alive," The worry was finally set in his voice and in my heart. Sure Master Skywalker is an annoying jerk with anger issues who gives my best friend a hard time because he's in denial of his own emotions, but I wouldn't want him to die. It would devastate her, and Master Kenobi, "And it seems," He glanced up at the Twi'lek that was limping, a clone had to hold her up and walk her back to the other nurses to check her out, "Her subconscious is taking his protection aggressively serious."
"She lost one Master already," I reminded him, standing up, "She doesn't want it to happen again."
"I suppose," He mumbled low, standing up too. The way he said it made me wonder if he had any theories of his own, "What kind of wasp was he stung by?"
"Hoskinta," Our partner announced, finally arriving after insisting on taking his own ship. Which I guess is going to come in handy seeing as we now no longer have one.
Master Yoda tossed him on us for extra support minutes before we were about to leave. According to him he's one of our Jedi Knight's, although I've never seen him before. Master Kenobi told me that he's never seen him before either. And what he just said was his first time actually speaking to us other than his shy hello's when we first met.
"There you are... I'm sorry, what is your name again?" Master Kenobi asked for us both since I also forgot his name. Master Yoda said it so quickly it went right over my head, plus my mind was already preoccupied with thoughts about this call.
"Luke," His blue eyes met mine for a split second before he glanced at the floor, visibly nervous, "Starkiller."
I had a million and one questions for this guy. Like where he came from, who was his Master, why have we never seen him before? But we had more pressing matters at hand, so I was going to temporarily push them away. Master Yoda said we can trust him so I will trust that I won't get a lightsaber to the back until then.
"I was worried you got lost." My Master joked.
Luke smiled, but only slightly, his gaze shifting to Anakin and (y/n), "She hasn't stopped the venom, she's only slowed it. He's still dying so we should get moving on getting an antidote, he barely has a few hours."
"I agree, but a storm is coming this way, we can't leave them out like this." Master Kenobi stroked his beard in thought, "And are we sure we know what antidote to get?"
"I do," Luke nodded, and turned to point north, above the large plants, "Thirty miles in that direction is a river that has exactly what we need, I can be there and back in an hour with my ship."
I knitted my brows, "How do you know where exactly to go?" I questioned with a head tilt.
He shrugged, "I read." In a flash, he whipped out his lightsaber and swung it to his left, singing one of the many bugs buzzing around with the green blade.
My Master looked impressed by his speed, "Nice reflexes."
Luke smiled, before glancing up when the wind started to pick up and shake the plants around us, "Have the clones build a tent around them Master Kenobi, I'll go get the antidote." He gave him a bow of respect before walking away,
"I'll go with you," I followed behind him, I was curious.
He side-eyed me and I suspected he was going to reject my offer, but he sighed quietly to himself and dropped his eyes back to the floor, "As long as your Master is okay with it."
"He's okay with it." I answered for him, knowing he was probably going to ask to go to my place. But I didn't want to be the one to stay here and keep watch with the clones, I want the adventure, I want to see something new. Also, if something goes wrong and (y/n) can't hold off the venom on her own anymore, Master Kenobi is strong enough to help — I'm not, "I'll be back Master! Put those tent building skills to good use." I teased, disappearing from his view.
"Ahsoka!"

(Y/n)'s POV
It took me awhile to understand where I was, but then it hit me when I heard the small boy utter his name, "My name is Anakin." I was inside of his mind, walking his memories as if I was really there. He's too weak to keep me out now and it's not like I want to be here either. I was thrown in here the moment I fully lost consciousness.
I watched him and Padme interact, it was sweet and innocent - much like them at this age, "Hi Anakin, I'm Padme." She introduced herself with a warm smile.
Younger Anakin cleaned a ship part in his hands, his eyes held bags underneath and his hands were bruised and cut. He looked away from her and to me, his tired eyes brightening with a glimmer of joy, "Are you an Angel?"
I slowly shook my head, confused on how he was talking to me. I wasn't really here in this memory, "Far from it." But then again, our minds work in mysterious ways.
He tilted his head to show his own confusion, "I hear they're the most beautiful beings in the galaxy."
I couldn't help but smile. Even at such a young age, he was a little flirt, "Are you saying I'm beautiful Anakin?"
He nodded. Seeing the happiness in his eyes when he talked to me was heart-warming in comparison to the cold misery I saw when I first came in here. But it was quickly gone when he whipped his head in the direction of the Blue Toydarian entering the room, "Boy! Get over here and be useful."
The memory faded away and changed to another, it was young Anakin again. This time he was with a woman, and he was crying, they both were, "But you can't stop the change, anymore than you can stop the suns from setting." She caressed his face, tears filling her eyes.
"Will I ever see you again?" He asked.
She placed her hand on his chest with a smile, "What does your heart tell you?"
"Maybe," He answered lowly, then sighed, "Yeah I guess."
She quickly pulled him into a hug, her tears finally breaking free, "I love you." She whispered, continuing to hold him tight. I felt an ache in my chest, I wanted to cry for them because I already know who this is—it wasn't hard to figure out—and that she's no longer alive.
They pulled away from the hug, "I will come back to free you Mom, I promise."
Again, the images of them faded away like dust in the wind. Before being replaced by another, the setting was darker, quieter, with only the sound being bugs chirping and fire crackling. I saw a figure move in the distance and they were headed for a site belonging to tusken raiders. I put together who it was quickly based off of the way he runs and started to follow him.
Soon I was not far behind, and I hid while he cut into one of the huts and entered. Then it hit me... why the hell am I hiding? This isn't real.
I went into the same hut he did, and the moment I entered, I saw him on the floor, holding the now lifeless body of who I recognize as his mother. He was distraught, crying tears of immense pain as he held her tight to him, "Please come back Mom. I'm not ready," He whimpered, "I'm not ready to let you go, I have so much I wanted to tell you."
Before I knew it I was crying with him, wishing I could have been there to comfort him when this happened. It's a horrible feeling having someone you deeply care for die in your arms, it can change a person.
I felt guilty for being here. This was personal, private, but I had no idea how to get out. I was stuck here, forced to watch all of this.
He stayed where he was for longer than I cared to count, before he finally raised his head from her shoulder. I didn't like the look he held in his eyes, it scared me.
He gently placed his Mother on the floor, "You shouldn't be here," He growled, turning his head to face me. He stood up, towering over me in height. I took a step back and he grabbed my shoulders, harshly by digging his nails into my skin, "Get out of here," He spat, venom dripping from his tongue and for a moment, I thought a saw yellow change in his eyes, "You don't need to see what I'm about to do." He shoved me as hard as he could and I fell back.
I expected to hit the floor of the hut, but I never touched the surface – I kept falling. Darkness swallowed me whole as the image of Anakin got smaller and smaller.
