Duskmoon was on a border patrol with Marshear Skypaw Goldenfang and Blazepaw

He crossed some fresh Nightclan markers

Nightclans markers are on the right side Duskmoon thought

"Do you think we are going to run into a Nightclan patrol and have to attack" Blazepaw asked

"I'm not sure" Skypaw replied

"Blazepaw why are you hoping for a battle" Duskmoon asked

"cause it would be fun" Blazepaw answered

"Well you shouldn't hope for one" Duskmoon replied

"Who is there" a cat asked from the shadows

"Just a Pineclan patrol" Duskmoon answered

"Oh okay Duskpaw" Scarletpaw said and came out of the shadows

"I'm Duskmoon now" Duskmoon said

"Well I'm Scarletrose now" Scarletrose replied

He came forward well his patrol was still catching up

"Meet me here at moonhigh tonight please" Duskmoon said to Scarletrose

"Uh okay" Scarletrose replied

"What was that about" Skypaw asked

"It was nothing" Duskmoon replied

"Do you have a crush on her" Skypaw asked

"What no" Duskmoon answered quickly

And they continued there patrol

"What was Skypaw talking about" Marshear asked

"She is convinced I have a crush on Scarletrose" Duskmoon replied

"Oh so just apprentices fake stuff" Marshear said

"Yeah" Duskmoon replied

"You think what I say is fake" Skypaw asked

"Normally apprentices lie about stuff to try and get to being a warrior faster" Marshear replied

"Hey look we are almost back to camp" Blazepaw said

"Oh yeah" Duskmoon replied

He walked over to Kinkstar's den

"We ran into a Nightclan patrol but they didn't cross the border" Duskmoon said

"Okay" Kinkstar replied

"I'm going now bye" Duskmoon said

"Wait have you had any weird dreams lately" Kinkstar asked

"If you count the one about the Starclan cat talking to me yes" Duskmoon answered

"What did the Starclan cat say" Kinkstar asked

"They told me a prophecy but I don't know why" Duskmoon replied

"What was the prophecy" Kinkstar asked

"It was that Chaos well spread and the only way to stop it is bringing a truce once a moon" Duskmoon answered

"Okay the other clans have got this prophecy too so it must be important" Kinkstar said

"Can I go now" Duskmoon asked

"Yes leave" Kinkstar answered

And Duskmoon walked out of the den

"Why were you in his den for so long" Skypaw asked

"I was just reporting to him about the patrol" Duskmoon replied

"Well does it normally take that long" Skypaw asked

"Sometimes but stop being nosey" Duskmoon answered

"Can we do some training" Skypaw asked

"No because you are getting fresh moss for the elders" Duskmoon answered

It was close to moonhigh when he got to the border to wait for Scarletrose

"So your not luring me into a trap" Scarletrose said and she jumped from a nearby tree

"Oh uh hi" Duskmoon said

"So why did you want" Scarletrose asked

"is it to see me at night to get nightclan secrets out of me" Scarletrose asked

"No it isn't that I want nightclan secrets it's just that I wanted to get to know you" Duskmoon answered

"Oh okay" Scarletrose replied

"How has nightclan been doing" Duskmoon asked

"It's been doing great" Scarletrose answered

They talked for a while

"I should get back to camp before the dawn patrol goes out" Duskmoon said

And ran off towards camp

"I have been looking for you where have you been" Mossfur asked

"Out on a walk through the forest" Duskmoon answered with a lie

"Oh well go back to camp and get Skypaw to do something well you rest because you look tired" Mossfur said

"Yes Mossfur" Duskmoon replied

And when he got back to camp Skypaw was waiting for him

"Hi what are we doing" Skypaw asked

"You are checking the elders for ticks so go get some mouse bile and FlowerStripe well tell you what to do with it" Duskmoon replied

"Okay" Skypaw said

She doesn't understand what mouse bile is yet Duskmoon thought

And walked over to the warriors den and walked inside and to his nest
