On the day before his sixth birth day Kaito was staring at the stars in the middle of the night wondering what is out there, how many secrets that the world possesses and what been out there meant, all of a sudden he felt this feeling of pain, hatred and darkness enveloping his heart he close his eyes firmly and prayed everything will go away as he open his eyes it became as if nothing happened, he then decides to go back to sleep scared and shivering.

The next morning the palace was busy and crowded with maids all around, the Elder has already gone to the Main Hall to handle clan issues and Eva is preparing Maya to go to the chamber with her she is the head of security for the clan, Fareya just finished getting ready to go to Ethan high, the most prestigious and amazing school in the whole of Ora, a school that only ruling family members, the powerful and geniuses that get to go there, it is the dream of many children all around Ora to go there when they grow up including the hero of our story.

That day Kaito was still on bed, He was on midterm and that day is his birthday, his mother felt sad living him in the palace alone so she called the in-house maid to come and stay with him for a while, Nanny Menma have been with the family for a long time so she is regarded as family. When Kaito finally woke up everybody was gone, He felt the chill down his spine thinking that they have all forgotten his birthday, as he was about to go back to his room he heard this cool and soothing voice saying;

"Happy birthday Kaito"

As he turned around and saw Nanny Menma standing beside him he was so happy to see her, He ran to her, hugged her. Looking at her hand he saw her with a present for him.

"Here is your Birthday gift my little hero"; she said.

As he opened the wrapped gift it was a hand crafted wooden katana it was amazing and he was so happy, looking at the handle he saw the sigil of the ohikwo family on the edge_ A circle and a triangle in the middle meaning that only those who possess the will are worthy.

After he took his bath and breakfast, he took his katana and went to the palace garden and played till he got really tired so he sat on the stairs in front of the palace garden and he stared at the disperse of trees around the palace the air felt different and peaceful then a thought crossed his mind, how he had wish he is all grown up and going to Ethan High, all off a sudden he felt the same feeling of darkness, pain and hatred as he felt in the night before but this time it was different it felt too real to bare, He felt been suffocated from inside out as if he was been pushed through a pathway that was too tight and small for him to fit in, Suddenly it was all dark around him it was in the night, he is in the a field he could catch a glimpse of burning buildings from afar, he felt a thick liquid beneath his feet looking at it, it is blood , raising his head a little bit he saw a woman bleeding out as he look again it was Faraya but she was older she had this blue flame oozing out her like it was part of her, then all of a sudden this black blade appeared out of nowhere and stabbed her in the chest making her bleed more and more there was a man standing above her, he kept on staring but he couldn't recognize him, he just stood there and stare couldn't do anything every path seems dark then he heard her voice she was gasping for air.

"k...k....kaito , RUN...RUN as fast as you can, don't look back keep.... Keep RUNNING"; she said.

Then the man dragged her and lifts her into the air just by moving his hand then he snapped her neck, He could see the light disappear from her beautiful blue eyes as he was looking as she fell cold to the ground he felt this pull and everything was fading, he is in Ethan High in Front of Fareya he looked into her eyes she is alive she looked as if she has seen a ghost, the shock was too much that he fainted right there.

As he finally opened his eyes, it was already in the evening and everybody was already back home worried sick about him, looking at their faces he felt this light, he was happy that everybody is save, his mother was so worried that she kind of look pale

"When you found out you were feeling sick why did you agree to follow Fareya to School"; she said.

He was surprised when he heard her say that even though that wasn't what happened he just smiled and looked at Fareya, as he sat up straight he saw his father exiting the room.

"Happy Birthday" The all shouted as they handed him his birthday presents, he was very happy but still he couldn't shake the feeling of what truly happened.

As Eva Ohikwo went to the balcony of their chamber, he saw Ohikwo staring outside across the field

"Won't you go and talk to your son" she said.

"Nah he is big guy, he can handle himself" he grabbed her waist and pulls her towards him and looked deep into her big brown eyes as he replied.

He went into his son room; he peeped inside and saw all of them still playing around with Nanny Menma he called him out then asked him.

"Hea I heard Nanny Menma gave you a katana?"

"Yes". He replied.

He said "Happy Birthday son" looking at him the boy seem distant his mind seems somewhere else, He asked him; "hea did something happen today"

"No it's nothing" He replied.

"Hea maybe I will give you a tour around the family archive next time as your Birthday gift". He replied as they walked back into the palace.

That night Kaito thought he could sleep everything off and forgot like it ever happen. But he couldn't even sleep the moment he closed his eyes he felt as if what happened will repeats itself, so he woke up early took his bath and went and took his breakfast, everybody was surprised that he was up early because he is never up early, you always have to go and wake him up.

His father had this feeling down his spine that something is happening with kaito, so he decided to take them to school himself, he dropped kaito at Jordan academy where he goes to school and he took fareya to her own school.

The school felt boring, dark and lonely to kaito like he was drowning in his sorrows, only his best friend Ren was able to take his mind off things but even so he kept on thinking about everything even in class and when they went for break, he sat in front of the class with his leg and hand crossed, but Ren insited on them playing together just as everything was about to collapse for kaito that was when he saw her, the most beautiful human being he had ever seen, she had black eyes that sparkled against the shining sun with long black hair reaching down to her waist with strand of white hair that was braided backwards she made him feel this light like everything is going to be al l right. He followed her as she passed by him to the headmaster's office as she entered with her guardian he peeked into the office that's when she looked at him wandering ;"who is this boy his eyes are as black as mine" that's when the bell rang and he had to run back to class.

Minutes later the headmaster walks into the class room to introduce the new arriving student at the academy.

"this is Moira Dregomon, third of her name, daughter to the imperial family of the dregomon clan as of today she will be your classmate, so one of you should be her friend from tis day on" He said.

When she walked into the class room that's when kaito realized that is was the girl from the office, so she came in and fined a sit to sit down looking by her right it was kaito and ren she was surprised to be in the same class with the boy she saw earlier on.

"Hi am kaito ohikwo" he said.

"So you are a member of the ohikwo imperial family?" She replied.

"the name kind a' implies that, no need to ask" he said.

"You are not fun at all to talk to"

"Hea don't mind him he is not feeling to good today just ignore him if he sounds annoying, am Ren" ren said as he butted into their little chit chat.

As the headmaster walked out the guardian asked him "who is that boy talking to the princess not anybody can talk to her"

"No! No! You have nothing to worry about that's not just anybody that is the second child of the ohikwo imperial family" the headmaster replied.

Back in the class room kaito decided to talk to Moira with respect judging she is a princess and all and he is kind of fond of her.

In the main hall ossien kept on wondering about wandering about his son.

"Sire, what is the matter you seem worried about something?" his personal assistance asks.

"No jameel it is just kaito, the boy is growing up fast and lately he seems likes something is disturbing him, I am just thinking on how to talk to him"

"I know you will know what to do after all you are 'you' sire" jameel replied.

"hmmm" said Ossien

They were interrupted by a knock on the door and then jameel asked the person to come in, it was a guard from the information station.

"My liege it is a message from the chamber Sir your wife" the guard said as he took a bow.

"So what is it" Ossien replied as the guard passed an envelope with a red straw on it to jameel

"You can take your leave now" said jameel to the guard

"it is about the missing children Sire, the report states that is seems like it is not random this children seem to disappear from Bazeland to Aragnia then Dorian it seem katharget is next sir"

"I just hope when that time comes we will be able to protect our children, I will send an official message to the imperials to notify them of the situation" Ossien said.
