Slenda: He will not best me at all.
Clockwork: If you're saying that he is a threat to everyone below Slenda, aka myself. Then perhaps it's best if I eliminate him before he becomes a true threat.
Sally: No! We can't just...get rid of him like that. He's been through enough already.
Nurse Ann: Sally's right. We need to tread carefully. We don't want to make an enemy out of someone who could potentially be an ally. Especially when Zalgo has an interest
Zalgo: Sister, Slenda.....continue to monitor Blue Light's actions. If he proves to be a danger, then we'll deal with him accordingly. But for now, let's give him the benefit of the doubt, I want to see more from him.
Zalga: Yes, Brother
Slenda: I believe that Jane has an idea, we will have to wait and see what happens with that

_______________
Blue's POV
_______________
Soooooo, it's been about two days now. And nothing has happened so far, which means that my split personality was acting up, because the first day I was bored and wanted something to happen, and then the next day I was patient.
Today, I'm just locked in as I have a bad feeling about what could happen next. The big Chief himself walks into the dimly lit office where Lawson and myself were working on cases together.
Usually it would just be myself and Norman, but Lawson was trusted enough to join us in this special operation as I called it.
Norman: Blue, Lawson, we've got a situation
Lawson: What's going on, Chief?
Blue: I'm going to assume it has to do with one of them
Norman: Spot on. Jane the Killer has been spotted. She was seen inside a hall where a group of wealthy individuals were having a party. Reports say she was blending in with her black dress.
Blue: Do you think that she is orchestrating the whole thing?
Lawson: Yeah, this isn't the first time when she has organised an event. She's been spotted by our sources, we need to move in and bring her in before she slips away again.
Norman: Hold your horses, Lawson. We can't just barge in and create a scene at a rich people's party. It's not the right approach.
Blue: We should play this smart. How about we attend the party as guests?
Norman: You want to attend it? That's what she wants!
Blue: Exactly, but it isn't what she expects. So by doing this, we keep a calm demeanor, and get in close to....well we can work it out from there
Lawson: That is risky as hell
Norman: But not a bad idea. It's a high profile event, and we need to be strategic about our approach. We don't want to cause unnecessary panic or let her slip through our fingers.
Lawson: But Chief. What if she recognises us?
Norman: That won't matter
Blue: It won't, let's just work in getting to her first.
The two men nod at me, as Lawson goes with Vanessa to find suits. She knew someone that could make tactical ones for us, like the ones in John Wick, because God damn we might need that.
Well....Norman and Lawson need it, I'm wearing it for style.
I quickly call my Mother one more time, telling her that I've sent her some of my money. She tried to send it back but I assured her that it was okay, I'm sorted here myself.
And now, it was time for the mission.
The three of us met up at the office, wore our outfits and walked to place where we needed to go. Oh right, and I did have weapons hidden on me as a much needed precaution.....then again, I'm always strapped.
We arrived at the opulent mansion where the party was in full swing. Dressed in sleek black suits, we blended seamlessly with the crowd of wealthy guests. The air buzzed with excitement, champagne flowed freely, and laughter filled the extravagant halls.
Egh.....rich people, am I right?
As we circulated through the crowd, our keen eyes scanned the faces, searching for any sign of Jane. Yet, she remained elusive, hidden among the groups of partygoers.
Nevertheless, we remained patient, knowing that this was the closest Norman had ever been to her.
And I just happen to be apart of it
_______________
3rd POV
_______________
Blue had wandered on his own for a bit, but finds Chief Norman and leaned close to him from behind, his voice barely above a whisper.
Blue: Always watch your six, Norman. She could be anywhere....
Chief Norman nodded, his gaze sweeping the room with determination.
Norman: We'll find her, Blue. Just stay vigilant.
Blue: That's all I do
Officer Lawson, ever the skeptic, remained on high alert, his hand never straying far from his concealed weapon.
Lawson: Let's not get complacent, gentlemen. She's cunning, and we can't afford to underestimate her.
Blue: We won't, because I'm going to make sure that we know something from her
They continued to mingle, their conversation interspersed with discreet glances and nods of acknowledgment. Each passing moment brought them closer to their elusive target.
They were prepared to wait as long as it took to finally bring Jane the Killer to justice. As the evening progressed, a hush fell over the crowd as Jane, the host of the party, made her grand entrance.
All eyes turned towards her as she descended the staircase, a vision of elegance and charm. Her presence commanded attention, and whispers rippled through the room as guests admired her beauty and poise.
(What she was wearing)
Most of the attendees couldn't help but be captivated by Jane's allure, but Blue's mind......was elsewhere.
Blue: Hmm....what to do? Watch the Super Broly movie again? Or actually start to watch the Swordsmith Arc? The newest arc just wrapped up and I haven't even finished the last one.
Despite the spectacle before him, he found himself lost in thoughts of whether to watch Dragon Ball Super: Broly or Demon Slayer when he returned home......but that's just Blue.
The allure of animated battles and epic storylines tugged at his imagination, momentarily distracting him from the sight of Jane. Norman noticed that his key member was voiding out, and nudged Blue lightly, breaking him out of his reverie.
Norman: Blue, focus. We're here on a mission, remember?
Blue snapped back to reality, shaking off his daydreams.
Blue: Right, sorry Chief. Just thinking about....important tings
Meanwhile, Jane glided through the crowd with effortless grace, exchanging pleasantries and charming her guests with her magnetic personality.
Unbeknownst to the partygoers, she harbored a dark secret, one that Blue and his companions were determined to uncover. As the night wore on, Norman, Blue and Lawson found themselves huddled in a secluded corner, discussing their next move.
The tension in the air was palpable, each of them acutely aware of the importance of their mission.
Norman: Alright, Blue. It's time to make our move. You're the calmest person I've ever met. You'll be able to approach Jane without raising any tensions. Ask her for a dance, and see if you can gather anything from
Blue: Norman I'm not sure that's the best idea. I'm not the best....social person....I'm also not a dancer, so you're going to rely on me using my Infamous "Ballin" technique.
Norman: Trust me, Blue. You've got this. You're our best shot at getting close to her without chaos ensuring.
Lawson: And what about me? You think I can't handle myself under pressure?
Blue: No offense big man, but we all know you're a bit of a angy boi. She can say something that will trigger you, and then you will lose your head.
Lawson rolled his eyes, but did in fact nod in agreement.
Lawson: Fine. But if anything goes wrong, it's on you, Blue.
Blue: As a truck one said, "Did you forget, who I am?"
Lawson:......Really? Movie Lines?
Blue: Alright, alright. Calm down, and let me ball already. Just don't expect Hee Hee Moonwalks and that
With a plan in place and cautionous in their hearts, the trio dispersed back into the crowd, ready to execute their mission and bring Jane the Killer to justice.
As Blue made his way through the crowd towards Jane, he could feel a change inside of him. He assumed that the silliness was placed on the side, while he locked in completely.
But before he could....there was a bit more concern.
Lawson: Hey, Blue, do you even know how to dance?
Blue: Not really, but I'll figure it out. How hard can it be?
Lawson let out a resigned sigh, shaking his head as he exchanged a glance with Norman.
Lawson: You're really going to wing it, aren't you?
Blue: Trust The Process....that's what I always told myself.
As they watched from a distance, Norman placed a reassuring hand on Lawson's shoulder.
Norman: Trust him, Lawson. Blue's got a knack for getting out of tight spots. He'll charm his way through this....well not charm, more like......work around it.
With bated breath, they observed as Blue approached Jane, his demeanor calm and composed despite the nerves bubbling beneath the surface.
As he extended his hand towards her, a glimmer of determination shone in his eyes, ready to seize this opportunity to gather crucial intel on their elusive target.
Blue: Good evening, Miss. My name is Blue Light. Would you care to dance?
To the surprise of Chief Norman and Officer Lawson, Jane's gaze met Blue's with a knowing glint in her eyes. She took his hand with a subtle nod, her expression unreadable as she replied.
Jane: Of course, Blue. I've heard a lot about you.
Norman's heart skipped a beat, a surge of panic rising within him. He exchanged a quick glance with Lawson, who mirrored his apprehension. Were they walking into a trap?
Despite the uncertainty swirling around them, Blue remained unfazed. He had an idea that he was going to be known by Jane, it's not every day that a Detective would beat Jeff The Killer twice.
With his trademark calmness, he led Jane onto the dance floor, they begin their dance as Jane was an expert, while Blue showed that he hadn't done this before. But him matching Jane's wavelength was good enough.
They swayed to the rhythm of the music, and watching from the sidelines was Norman and Lawson. They couldn't help but marvel at Blue's composure under pressure.
Lawson: How does he do it?
Norman: Not even I know, Lawson. Maybe his life before all of this had set himself up for every scenario.
Lawson: You know his past, what was it like?
Norman:.....Hell, that's all I can say.
As the night continues, Blue and Jane danced with an effortless chemistry, their conversation veiled in secrecy as they moved in perfect synchrony. And though Norman and Lawson remained on edge, they couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope stirring within them.
If someone were to get information, it would be Blue. But Norman couldn't shake the feeling that Jane held more cards than she let on. Then again, Blue is....well Blue.
Blue: So, Jane, what brings you to this party?
Jane's lips curled into a coy smile, she knew what he was going to do, and decided to play his game.
Jane: Oh, you know me, Blue. Always looking for a little excitement. And what about you? What's a private investigator like yourself doing at a gathering like this?
Blue: Well, I mean...you're here, and I thought "Why not meet another of my targets?"
Jane's laughter tinkled like wind chimes in the night air.
Jane: Ah, yes, a target. You're not wrong, are you going to pick a fight with me?
Blue: We don't need to, we can just relax here. No need for the action just yet.
Jane leaned in closer, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jane: You're right, but just know that conflict shouldn't even be an option. We keep tabs on each other. It's....safer that way.
Blue: The others know about me?
Jane: Oh yes, for a while now. Ever since you've beaten Jeff for the first time, most of us have been watching....and some have just heard about you~
Blue: I see. And what do they know about me?
Jane: Oh, they know quite a bit. About your encounters with Jeff as we have mentioned
Blue: I heard that you and Jeff aren't on good terms with each other, so I'm assuming you're okay with what you've seen, right?
Jane: Indeed, quite the accomplishment, I must say.
Blue couldn't help but feel a surge of pride at the mention of his victories over Jeff. Then again, it wasn't anything hard so was there any pride to feel.
Blue: It wasn't hard, I already know that Jeff was one of the weaker ones.
Jane: Yet he has killed so many people
Blue: Really now? Didn't seem like it when I made him run away like a squirrel
Jane's laughter bubbled up again, light and carefree.
Jane: Some of the others, like Laughing Jack and Laughing Jill, found it quite amusing, actually. They were making bets on whether you'd come out on top.
Blue: Bets? That's bloody new....Well, I'm glad I could provide entertainment for them, I am an....amusing boy as my Mother said
As they continued to dance, Blue couldn't shake the feeling that he was treading on thin ice. Jane's cryptic words only fueled his determination to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.
Jane's gaze was trained onto Blue's, her eyes searching for any sign of doubt or hesitation.
Jane: So, Blue....let's cut to the chase, do you think you can truly win? You must have some idea of who you're going to be up against
Blue: I may not know every single detail, Jane, but I know enough. And I have an issue with getting through my problems, one way or another....no matter what happens
Jane's expression softened, a glimmer of surprise could be seen on her face, and eyes.
Jane: I can see that, Blue. You've probably faced some formidable opponents in the past, and yet, here you are, standing tall.
Blue: I don't back down from danger, Jane. It's something I just don't understand
Jane: [Smiles] I can attest to that. I was impressed when you didn't back down during your face-off with Slenderwoman. Not many would have had the courage to stand their ground in the face of such danger.
Blue: You saw that as well?
Jane: More like Jeff told us
Blue: Ah, thank you, Jane. But I'm just doing what I have to do. I won't rest until the world is safe
Jane: The world? Well, you're going to have to wait a long time for that
As they continued to dance, their conversation veering into deeper waters, Chief Norman and Officer Lawson exchanged glances from their vantage point across the room.
Norman: You can hear them, right?
Lawson: Yeah, she is trying to get something out of him as well
Norman: It's a verbal chess match
Lawson: Between two smart-.....okay, Blue isn't the smartest guy I've seen but he's alright I guess
Norman: But when it comes down to it, that boy will fool everyone
Back on the dance floor, Jane's voice broke through Blue's thoughts, her words attacking the walls he had built around his past.
Jane: Tell me Blue.....do you still get nightmares? From your time as a child mercenary?
Blue's breath caught in his throat, he knows that he's being watched all the time. But he didn't expect them to listen in on the conversation between him and Norman.
Blue: How did you...?
Jane's laughter cut through the air, light and melodic.
Jane: Oh, Blue. You forget that I have friends in high places. Powerful beings who hear everything. Including your conversations with Chief Norman....
Blue's eyes widened in realisation, a mixture of astonishment and resignation washing over him.
Blue: Of course. I should have known...it's him, isn't it?
Jane's gaze softened, a note of sympathy coloring her words, something he didn't expect.
Jane: It's okay, Blue. You don't have to pretend with me. We all have our demons to contend with.
Blue: You're not wrong about that, but no, I don't get nightmares, they were nothing to be afraid of.
Jane nodded in surprise, expecting a young boy like Blue to be brought down by the mention of his past. But it's molded him into the person he is today, and he's probably thankful for that, because he can make a difference.
But Jane doesn't think that this difference will mean much, as he is still human at the end of the day, and the final boss....was Zalgo.
But then, to mix things up a bit, Jane turned the conversation between Blue and herself into a lighter turn. Jane's eyes sparkled with mischief as she took note of Blue's looks.
Jane: You clean up nicely, Blue. I must say, you're quite the catch.
Blue: Hmm? Oh, thank you Jane. You look good as well.
A playful smile tugged at Jane's lips as she leaned in closer, her voice low and tantalising. Even though Jeff would lavish at this, Jane would not care as she needed to bring down Blue's defences as much as possible.
Jane: So, Blue, do you want to have some fun with me upstairs? We don't need to hang around the rich folk for this long~
Blue's brow furrowed in confusion for a moment before a light bulb seemed to flicker to life above his head.
Blue: Oh, upstairs! You mean like playing video games or something?
Everyone: WHAT?!
And just like that, the other Blue was back.
Jane made a cute little "Eh?" Noise at the sudden response while Norman and Lawson exchanged bewildered glances. Taken aback by Blue's unexpected response, Jane's laughter echoed through the room as she shook her head in disbelief.
Jane: Oh, Blue, you never fail to surprise me. But I was thinking of something a bit more....intimate.
Blue:.......Are we talking about fighting?
Jane: [Sighs] Nevermind, I see that you're not introduced to that side of the world
Norman and Lawson watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and disbelief.
Lawson: W-What the.....
Norman: [Smiles] He truly hasn't changed....
