It's been a few days and after the weekend, you all went back to class and Bakugo was finally able to return to class with you all as well. You all gathered together in class as Aizawa came in and homeroom began, starting with a little announcement about the Hero Internships.

"Regarding the first years' hero internships, the results of yesterday's conference make it abundantly clear...With the principal at the forefront, the vast majority of teachers had the following say: "Call if off." Aizawa said to them all as you all grew shocked faces.

"Huh!? Even after that whole "explanation!?" Kirishima asked in shock.

"Although,given the whole sequence of events that led to the implementaion of the boarding school system, I suppose it was given..." Kaminari trailed off.

"That's what you get!" Bakugo yelled in a mocking tone as he was left out of everything.

"However!" Aizawa interrupted as everyone turned back towards him. "There were also those of the opinion that the current policy keeping you all constantly under our protection wouldn't raise you into strong heroes. So, we reached the conclusion that "If limited to offices that have a good track record when it comes to taking in interns, the first years shall be allowed to work as interns"...So says the new policy." He told you all as you were surprised by the information.

"I wonder if GunHead's place'll be all right..." Uraraka wondered.

"I suppose I should try and reach out to Selky." Tsu said while putting her finger to her chin.

"GODDAMIT!" Bakugo yelled as everyone had the chance to still move forward ahead of him.

"Ryu, we can ask your mom about giving us permission to run patrols, right?" You asked Ryu.

"She should be able to clear a few things up for us now that she's out of the hospital and through with her physical therapy." Ryu said while leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed.

"Y/N, you've been called up to the teachers lounge by All Might. He has something to ask you." Aizawa said as you were confused but shrugged it off as you left your classroom.

"I wonder what All Might needs from me..." You thought as you rounded the corner and saw the teachers lounge straight ahead.

After a few more steps, you slid the door open and to your surprise, Midoriya was standing there next to All Might's desk.

"Could you please introduce me to Sir Nighteye for an internship", you say?!" All Might asked in shock as you looked at Midoriya.

"Yes, sir! One of the very few heroes to have ever worked under you!" Midoriya said in a loud, and excited tone.

"What's up with him?" You asked Midnight as she walked by with a cup of coffee.

"I don't know. He's certainly chipper." She said while walking over to her desk as you heard Ectoplasm mutter something about wanting to go to karaoke and you sat down at an empty desk nearby.

"Shh!" All Might shushed him as he looked at his pupil. "Well this came up out of no where. Where did his name come up?" All Might thought as Midoriya told him that Gran Torino informed him of Sir Nighteye. "...I see. So you were jumping the gun on the whole intern thing, and heard from Gran Torino." He said as Midoriya bowed his head.

"Please help me!" He begged as All Might looked down at him.

"I refuse." He said sternly, much to you and Midoriya's surprise. "I'm not saying that to be mean. There are three reasons." All Might said while holding up three fingers. "Number one: During yesterday's meeting, I was part of the faction against the internships. Thinking about the villains recent invigoration, I believe the first years should, at the very least, conduct the internships at a later time." He said.

"Same here." Thirteen said while walking by and waving at you as you waved back.

"From the very beginning it's not like there weren't any risk involved. If you ask me, if the kids want to go that badly, the school should back them up on it." Midnight said from her desk.

"Number two: I think it would be fine for you to just start off by strengthening your shoot style." All Might advised Midoriya.

"I think the kid's already doing his best." Ectoplasm said to Cementoss who sat down at his desk.

"But there's still plenty of room for development for that technique before he can really call it his own." Cementoss replied.

"Number three: We broke up so it's kinda awkward." All Might said as you fell back in your seat from shock as Present Mic laughed.

"Lettin' your feelings get in the way, All Might?!" He said while pointing at him.

"Cut it out, Mic." All Might said in embarrassment.

"Sensitive much!?" You thought in shock.

"Kacchan said to me..."The rails have been laid out for ya, so don't go losin'!" My quirk "strongly resembles All Might's". If I'm under the guidance of Nighteye, I think it will serve as a strong point of comparison to you." Midoriya said as he bowed his head once more. "I have to...become many times stronger...than anyone else, no matter the cost!" He said with anxiousness and fury.

"He's rushing due to his role as the successor...But...Even so..." All Might thought deeply before speaking. "I by no means dislike that side of you, but...as I said, you won't be getting an introduction. Not from me, anyway." He said as Midoriya stared at him.

All Might suddenly stood up and left the room. Curious still of what he wanted from you, both you and Midoriya followed him to another office, and inside, Mirio Togata was waiting on a couch as All Might entered the room and sat on the chair in front of him, while Midoriya sat on the couch with Mirio, and you leaned against the wall near the door.

"YOOOOUUU AAARREE...Here! Heh, just kidding." Mirio said while laughing as you stared at him with an awkward look on your face. "Sorry 'bout that! But after being called in by All Might, I'm just feeling so merry!" He said as Midoriya looked confused.

"Um...I'm having trouble grasping the whole situation..." He said as Mirio looked at him.

"What a coincidence! Truth is, the same goes for me, Midoriya-kun!" Mirio said with excitement.

"This guy on happy drugs or something?" You thought while staring at him. "I was wondering the same thing also. Why did you want me here?" You asked.

"I'll get to your part later, Young Y/N, first I must address Young Midoriya for reasons you probably are aware of." He said as you caught on nodded.

"Of course, please continue." You said as All Might turned to him.

"Young Togata is currently serving as an intern under Sir Nighteye, as it happens." All Might said as Midoriya looked at Mirio in shock.

"Really, Togata-senpai!?" He asked in shock as Mirio raised his hand up and laughed.

"Yep! I've been lucky enough to be with him for a whole year now!" He said merrily.

"So that means you'll be a shoo-in to become his sidekick once you graduate, right?!" Midoriya asked in excitement which confused you.

"As long as Sir doesn't have a change of heart, that is." Togata replied.

"Man, that's so cool...!" Midoriya muttered.

"Young Togata...From your perspective, do you feel that Young Midoriya is fit to work under Nighteye?" All Might asked which got both of their attentions as Midoriya looked at Mirio with all his attention.

"Hm...I get it now! So this is what you wanted to talk to me about!" Mirio said in realization as you face palmed from his response. "Could I introduce Midoriya to Sir, right?" He asked All Might before realizing something. "But why do you need me to cushion the exchange? He'd be thrilled to hear from you personally. He's always watching your videos, ya know?" Togata said.

"Honestly...I'm too ashamed to show him my face. In the end...things turned out exactly as he forewarned they would." All Might said as they stared at him, feeling the heavy atmosphere fill the room. "Anyway! What do you think of Young Midoriya?" All Might asked.

"Let's see...Well..." Mirio trailed off as he turned towards Midoriya. "Midoriya, what kind of hero do you want to be?" He asked as Midoriya grew a stunned look from the question.

"What kind..." He muttered lowly as he thought deeply. "They say speaking something aloud organizes one's thoughts." He thought before speaking up. "Helping with a smile, no matter the need, and no matter how many..." He trailed off as he remembered all the experiences he'd had that led up to now. "Never giving others a reason to worry...Winning and saving the day, beyond any doubt..." He looked at Mirio with a serious look plastered on his face. "I want to be...the greatest hero." He said as you smiled at his response and nodded.

Mirio looked at Midoriya's hands and saw they were clenched with seriousness before looking him in the eye.

"That's one crazy goal ya know..." He said before smiling brightly and giving Midoriya a thumbs up. "I've got no reason to refuse, so okay!" He said cheerily.

"Is that okay!? Thank you so much!" Midoriya exclaimed his gratefulness.

"Sure! Sure! I was already thinkin' Sir might like you anyway." Mirio replied.

"Oh my god! Really!?" Midoriya yelled in excitement as All Might looked at Togata and remembered a meeting he had with principle Nezu.

Flashback, With All Might

All Might was sat in front of Nezu's desk as he was looking at an open folder that had Togata's picture in it.

"We certainly have a worthy successor for you." Nezu said as All Might read his profile.

"Togata Mirio...I see..." All Might muttered.

"His grades aren't anything laudable, but...he's a student whose presence we're always conscious of. The voices around him are always ringing with laughter. He's near the bottom in terms of grades, but nevertheless his smile is irrepressible. Wouldn't you say that's perfectly in line with your view of what a hero should be?" Nezu asked him.

Flashback Over

"If I had never bumped into Young Midoriya...Then he would be my..." All Might shook his head before speaking up. "All right, that's all I needed you two for. You can return to your classes." He said as they nodded and got up to leave as All Might looked at you. "Young Y/N, we will conduct our business now, forgive me for the wait." He apologized as you stepped forward and the other two left.

"It's all right. What is it you need?" You asked while sitting down on the sofa and leaning forward, resting your elbows on your knees and interlocking your fingers together.

"I assume you'll be joining a hero organization to continue the work studies as well?" He asked as you nodded.

"Yeah, me and Ryu will be going back to his mom to see if we can't get approval from her. 21 will be joining Uraraka with whatever she has planned." You explained to him.

"If it could be possible, could you perhaps try and intern with Sir Nighteye as well? I cannot help but get a strange feeling Young Midoriya is going to have a rough time interning with him..." He said to you.

"Sorry, but I'd rather intern with Ryu's family organization. With them, me and Ryu will be allowed more freedom since we have our provisional licenses. What we can do is patrol in the same areas that they go. I'll watch them as they watch over their area." You suggested as he nodded.

"If you believe that's the best choice, I'll agree with it." He said as you stood up and walked over to the window as you sighed and looked at the city.

"How did you meet Midoriya?" You asked him as he stared at you.

"I had saved him from a sludge villain who was going to suffocate him. After that I ran into him again when the sludge villain got free and he rushed in to save Young Bakugo." He explained.

"Was that the day you decided to make him your successor?" You asked him.

"Yes..." He trailed off as you looked over your shoulder at him.

"Had you not have met him, Mirio would have been your successor. Do you think you made the right choice?" You asked while turning around and walking to the exit as All Might contemplated the question in silence. "I honestly don't care whether or not he's worthy to inherit your power, but to see the amount of effort and heart he puts into becoming a hero, that gives me a drive to make myself even stronger. I'm gonna help Midoriya make his quirk his own, even if he wasn't worthy of it in the first place." You said as you walked out of the room and closed the door.

After the meeting with All Might, you left and went back to your class to continue your studies. As the weekend came around, it was a bright morning and you and Ryu were packing your things and costumes into bags to go to his mom's other office as you and him exited the elevator and entered the common area where Tokoyami and Kirishima were sitting at one of the tables as Kaminari and Mineta were brushing their teeth while talking to them also.

"Good morning." You waved at them as they turned towards you.

"Morning guys! You two taking a vacation?" Kirishima asked.

"We're going to see Ryu's Mom and talk to her about doing the work studies under their organization. We'll be pretty busy, but it'll help us stay caught up and make us stronger. Are you guys doing anything today?" You asked.

"Well, Midoriya already ran out the door and Todoroki and Bakugo both went to their provisional license training course that they have on the weekends. We've got some stuff goin' on today too." Kirhisma said.

"What should I use for fap material today..." Mineta muttered out loud as you all stared at him with strange looks as he just continued brushing his teeth.

"We've all got our own lifestyles, after all." Kaminari muttered as you and Ryu both picked up your bags and waved to them.

"Well, see you guys when we get back." You waved to them as you and Ryu both walked out the door.

As you walked out the gate in front of the dorms, you saw a limousine pull up in front of you. A butler of sorts came out of the driver seat and came around as he bowed to you both.

"Mr Shiozaki, Mr.L/N, may I take your bags?" He asked as you both left them on the ground.

"Thanks!" You said with a smile as you got into the limo and Ryu got in without saying a word.

After the butler loaded your bags in and got back inside, you were off to the current headquarters of the Shiozaki family. Due to the attack on the main headquarters, the  building is still unstable and considered a hazard, so they had transferred to a smaller facility which was actually closer to the city you were in. You looked at Ryu a few times, worried that he might not have fully recovered yet from losing his father, but his shell never broke as he stared outside the window the entire ride. After about an hour of driving through traffic, you and Ryu made it to the facility as you stared in awe of its size. A tall, wide, blue building that stretched up about 40 stories high. Guards were posted up around the facility as the limo you were in came up to a check point. After getting checked and cleared, you were pulled into a packing garage as the limo stopped and the door was opened by a maid.

"Welcome back, Ryu-sama." A maid spoke kindly as Ryu just got out of the limo and left towards the elevator. "Welcome back, Y/N-sama." The maid smiled at you as you smiled back and nodded to her as you left and she took your things with her.

You two and the maid entered the elevator and traveled up from the parking garage as she pressed two buttons, one to the 34th floor, and one to the 50th floor. The elevator suddenly stopped on floor 21 as the doors opened and to your surprise, you saw Ryu's little brother again.

"Hello, Vegeta-sama." The maid smiled and bowed as he got into the elevator.

Vegeta got into the elevator and faced the door as it closed and began to move again. It was an awkward silence for you as Ryu and Vegeta hadn't spoken a word to each other yet. No snarky comments, no words if how Vegeta will be stronger than Ryu one day, nothing. Getting squirmy from the heavy atmosphere, you decided to break the ice.

"So, how've you been, Vegeta? Have you kept your training up?" You asked.

"Silence weakling..." He said which made you jump a little and you lost your words for a minute.

"Watch your mouth, boy." Ryu shot back while keeping his glare at the door.

"Don't tell me what and what not to do, bastard. This was all your fault that were in this mess." Vegeta retorted.

"What was that?" Ryu glared at him, getting angry.

"You heard me." Vegeta said as the elevator stopped and the doors opened as Vegeta clenched his fist. "It's your fault father died." He said while stepping off as you, Ryu, and the maid were all jaw-dropped from his comment.

Ryu was shocked from his words before he gritted his teeth and walked off the elevator in an angry manner to follow Vegeta. You wanted to follow, but you felt like you shouldn't get involved anymore. The elevator doors closed as you looked down in regret for saying anything.

"Don't worry, Vegeta-sama is just in a rough spot." The maid said as you looked at her. "He's a very strong boy for his age. He just needs time to get used to things." She said to reassure and calm you down.

You nodded as the elevator stopped at the 34th floor and the maid got off as she turned back towards you and bowed to you as the elevator doors closed. The elevator began to move again and you finally reached the 50th floor and came face to face with a hallway that led to a single room or office that had a set of double doors. You took a deep breath before stepping off the elevator as it closed and to your right it was a glass wall that looked out over the city. On your left was a wall that held the symbol of the Shiozaki family just like their old headquarters did. As you reached the double doors, you took one last breath before knocking on them three times.  After a few moments, the doors opened and you came face to face once more with Ryu's mother, Angelica Shiozaki.

"Y/N-kun, how nice of you to come visit. Please, come in." She said as she opened the door for you.

"Thank you, Mrs. Shiozaki." You bowed your head in respect to her as you entered the office.

As you entered and closed the door, you saw Angelica already walking towards her desk, and what made you a bit sad was the fact that she was using a cane to support her left side. She sat down at her chair as you sat down across from her.

"My people said that you and Ryu wanted to come back here to begin your Hero Work Studies because of our good track record,right?" She asked as you nodded.

"Yes. We were hoping to get the vouchers from you to patrol freely again since we have our provisional licenses now." You said to her.

"Of course, I'll send them to your rooms immediately." She said while turning in her chair and looking out the glass wall towards the city. "How's Ryu doing?" She asked.

"He's holding himself up, as you'd expect." You said to him.

"That's good." She said as she turned back towards her desk and looked at a family photo of them.

The photo contained the four family members of the Shiozaki's, Genji and Angelica in the back, Ryu standing in front of his father while Vegeta was on a stool in front of his mother. Angelica was smiling in the picture while the boys all had serious, stern looks plastered on their faces. She smiled at the picture as she picked it up.

"Ryu always believed that he had to make himself even stronger to prove himself to Genji...What he doesn't know is that his father's been proud of him ever since the day he was born." Angelica said.

"Ryu has gotten a lot stronger since the beginning of our time at U.A. We're steadily growing at a good pace." You told her as she smiled.

"Please, watch after Ryu and Vegeta both. They can handle themselves but they've let their pride blind them as well. I don't want the same thing to happen to them." She said as a tear dripped from her face before splashing on the desk as she rubbed her eyes.

"I will." You nodded before getting up and bowing to her before turning towards the door.

"Y/N-kun..." She called for you as you turned around towards her. "It was nice seeing you again. Please enjoy your time here." She said as you smiled and gave a thumbs up as you left her office.

As you left her office, you returned back to the 34th floor as you stepped out of the elevator and made your way to the room where your things were. As you entered, you saw the room was exactly the same as the one from before that you stayed in. You sighed as you walked to your bedroom and saw your bags set on the bed, along with some armor that matches Ryu's, but one difference was the shoulder guards that poked out to the sides. On top of the chest plate as well was the badge of the Shiozaki family. You picked up the badge and stared at it closely as you tightened your hand around it.

"We'll get them for what they did, Ryu. I promise you that." You thought before looking out your window and towards the city. "I guess doing a patrol now will get me use to the area." You said as you began to take off your shirt and grabbed the suit that goes underneath the armor.

After getting changed, you let out a sigh of relief as you felt even more free due to the lightness of the armor and clothes you were wearing, and took a look at yourself in the mirror.

"Paragon 'til death." You muttered and patted the armor while smiling at yourself in the mirror.

You grabbed the badge Angelica gave you and left your room as you traveled down the elevator and made it to the lobby of the building. Everyone in the lobby stared at you with amazement, but what caught your attention was when yous aw Vegeta walk out the doors and go right.

"Where's he going?" You wondered.

Growing curious and wanting to make sure he was okay, you followed him from a few paces behind and masked your energy so he couldn't sense you. As you followed him, he crossed the street and walked down an alleyway. As he was walking though, there was a voice calling from the alley.

"Somebody...!! Somebody...! Please, somebody...!! No...!!" A voice called as Vegeta turned towards the alley.

"What is that?" He mumbled before gasping as a figure came out from the darkness and tackled him, sending them both to the ground. "Ow...Watch where you're going--!" He cut himself off when he saw who had run into him.

A child with bandages all over her body. She wore a white, tattered, and dirty short sleeve dress and had a small horn on the right side of her forehead and had white, long, choppy, unkempt hair. She also had red eyes. She wore bandages on her arms, and under her bandages, her arms are shown to have numerous scars.

"A-Are you all right?" Vegeta asked as he got up and held out his hand to her.

"...Ah." She looked as if she was gonna cry as there were more footsteps coming from the alley, but Vegeta didn't hear.

"She looks scared...I better cut in." You thought as you went to move towards them, but stopped when another person came from the alley, and the aura they were giving off made your battle instincts tell you that this person was dangerous.

"We mustn't be causing any problems for our heroes, now..." The stranger who arrived said.

A man in his 20s with short, brown hair, eyes that are bloodshot, and several ear piercings. He wore a green hoodie with purple fur on the hood and had the sleeves rolled up, black pants, a black shirt, white tie, and white shoes, as well as a pair of disposable medical gloves. His most distinctive feature was an orange, beak-shaped mask reminiscent of a plague doctor. Vegeta glared at him while the girl looked scared. Having a feeling the situation was bad, you snapped out of your thoughts and began to move towards them.

"Hey, you--!" You were cut off by a loud noise.

There was a sudden small crash that sounded as something had fallen between the pair and the stranger. You felt high energy coming from the spot where the smoke swirled around.

"Hey, bird mouth..." The girl heard an aggressive voice as she saw the smoke clear and saw the person who had come between them, it was Ryu in his transformed state.

"What do you think you're doing?" Ryu asked as Vegeta stared at him with anger.

"I don't need you watching me, I can take care of myself!" Vegeta yelled as Ryu ignored him and continued to glare at the man.

"Ryu..." You muttered.

"Is this anyway a hero should act in front of a civilian?" The man asked.

"I don't know if this is a way for a hero to act, but I do know one thing. If you don't mind, it's time to turn your little coming-out party into a funeral." Ryu said while clenching his fist.

Ryu felt someone grab his leg from behind and turned around to see the little girl hiding behind him while looking up at him. He saw the look in her eye, a terrified look as he placed his hand on her head and pushed her behind him more as he glared at the man in front of him.

"Be careful about what you say next. You might lose more than that dumb mask of yours." Ryu insulted him as he stood face to face with the stranger.

Ryu has arrived at an unexpected notice as he shield the strange little girl behind him. Who is this girl? What happened to her? What is going through Vegeta'a mind right now about his older brother continuing to protect him? Who is this strange man that is following the little girl?
