Initiation

Life was going great for Percy Jackson, that is until a son of Zeus came to Camp Half-Blood and ruined it all for him.

Percy had been teaching a sword class when the conch shell blew three times, meaning an attack on the camp. Not thinking twice, Percy took off towards Half-Blood Hill in search of the enemy. What he found was not what he was expecting.

There was a boy about his age, he wielded a sword made of imperial gold, fighting a group of hell hounds and cyclops that were being led by the Minotaur.

"Didn't I already kill him twice?" Percy asked himself as he uncapped Anaklusmos and began to attack the greater monster.

The beast used a double bladed axe as it swung, trying to take his head off. Percy ducked and rolled forward before coming up and slicing the Minotaur's head in half.

When he turned around, the other group of monsters had been taken care of with the boy sitting on the ground, out of breath and completely exhausted from his fight with the beasts.

Percy, being the nice and caring guy he was, offered his hand to help the other boy up. What he didn't expect was for the boy to spit in his face, or try to. The spit stopped a few inches in front of Percy's face as he used his powers to hold the liquid in the air.

The boy's eyes widened in shock. He had never seen someone control spit before.

"Yeah, it's a son of Poseidon thing." Percy said proudly. He could hear his father laughing in his mind.

"Great, were cousins. That's just fucking awesome." The boy growled.

Percy looked confused for a second before his eyes widened, this boy was a son of Zeus. It was actually kind of obvious. The blonde hair, sky blue eyes, and the distinct smell of ozone all around him.

"We have another child of Zeus? Well, uncle is definitely going to be in the dog house when Hera finds out."

A loud crack of thunder was heard, but just as it had come, it vanished.

"Speak of the devil." Percy mumbled.

"You done yet because I need to get some food and water. Haven't eaten in a day and ran out of water this morning. And I could really use a shower." The boy stated before walking in the direction of the camp only to run into every demigod in Camp Half-Blood, plus an annoyed Chiron.

"Why are there so many children of Zeus around?" Chiron complained. It wasn't that he didn't like them, but with them, the children of Hades, and then Percy who is obviously a son of Poseidon, fights tended to break out. Even for demigod standards, their fights took it to a new level.

Sometimes the Big Three would have to come down and contain them until they calmed down or they would have destroyed the camp already.

"I believe it's because Zeus can't keep his pants on long enough to consider what might happen, well, if he cared what happened. Maybe he does it to try and have one that will finally beat me in a fight. Thalia and Jason can't and that's just his demigod children, don't even get me started on his immortal kids." Percy bragged.

Sure he was humble, but he did like to point the fact out every now and then. He was still possibly the best man alive.

"How could you have beaten an immortal? Your just a demigod." The boy said.

"Wait, so you know about Greek and Roman mythology, but you don't know about me? That, is weird."

The boy just looked at him confused. "You don't look like much. I'm pretty sure if you were a great hero that my father would have told me about you."

Percy seemed to consider this for a moment before he shrugged. "Not true, your dad doesn't like me very much. Kind of happens when you save the world twice and your a son of Poseidon, plus beating immortals with more power than he could ever have."

"Okay well, if we could learn your name then that would be helpful." Chiron interjected before a fight could break out between the two.

"The boy took one last look at Percy before turning his full attention to the millennia old trainer of heroes.

"My name is Theseus."

Everyone was silent, except for Percy who began to laugh uncontrollably.

"What is so funny?" Theseus asked as he glared at the son of Poseidon.

When Percy was able to control his laughter and breathing, he began to explain. "My names Perseus Jackson. You see, back in Ancient Greece, there was a great hero, a son of Zeus named Perseus. I am named after him. There was also another great hero, a son of Poseidon named Theseus. I think Zeus tried to name you after my half-brother so that you could inherit the same luck that I did."

Theseus nodded, seemingly like he understood a bit. "Well, like I said before, I need a shower and some food. If someone could point me to where that would be, that would be great."

Chiron took Theseus towards his cabin after he made everyone go back to their classes.

... 1 Week Later

"I'm going to rip your fucking head off of your shoulders!" Theseus snarled at Percy who just continued to glare at him.

"Why won't you speak godsdammit?!" The son of Zeus snarled as Percy finally showed the first hint of emotion.

Anger.

"You took everything from me! I had a life, friends, family, but you took that all away because you are a greedy piece of shit!" Percy screamed in rage, Riptide suddenly in his hands.

Percy Jackson had finally lost control.

You see, in the past week, Theseus had challenged many to duals and always came out on top. The only exception was Percy Jackson. No matter what he did, he couldn't beat the son of Poseidon. Every time he lost, he would say Percy had cheated, but everyone knew better.

Even though most of them began to separate away from him, they still knew that Percy would never lie, steal, or kill without cause. Theseus had framed Percy or just made untrue rumors about the son of Poseidon. Unfortunately, most had fallen victim to Theseus's lies and quickly turned on Percy.

Now though, well let's just say he had a cause.

"You attacked her. Because of you, she might not live to see the next month. I am going to drag you down to the depths of Tartarus itself and oversee your eternal torture myself." Percy said in a low, but dangerous tone.

A day before, Percy and Annabeth had been taking a stroll on the beach when Theseus came out of no where and attacked them. Annabeth had been in front of Percy and was taken out immediately from being stabbed in the stomach, a wound that was definitely fatal.

"She got what was coming to her. People always die around you. Because of you, many demigods were killed in the two wars!"

"How would you know?! You were off hiding somewhere because daddy wanted to keep the little bitch safe! No one is going to stop me from ripping your throat out. Not even your father!" Percy snarled before charging forward.

Theseus ducked underneath a slash, but was too slow to avoid the uppercut to the jaw. A loud crack was heard as his jaw was dislocated. Before he could move, Percy had summoned water tentacles that wrapped around Theseus's arms and legs.

The son of Zeus tried his best, but he couldn't break out of his restraints. Thunder boomed overhead, Zeus was not happy that Percy was about to kill his son. The only thing keeping him from killing the son of Poseidon was the boy's father, Hades, Hera, and half of the council. They had all agreed that the boy needed to be killed, especially Athena.

The only reason she had not gone down there to kill her half-brother was because she knew that Percy would make it much worse for him.

A crowd had gathered around the two demigods, Chiron leading the group. Even the old centaur would not get in Percy's way of revenge.

Theseus screamed as the tentacles slowly pulled him apart until his body finally gave up and was pulled into lots of smaller parts. Blood and guts were all over as Percy just continued to stare at the place that the son of Zeus had left behind.

Lightning shot from the heavens and struck Percy dead on. To everyone's shock, Percy was still there, his hands above him and a wall of water that was filled with millions of volts of electricity.

Percy forced the wall of water to evaporate, leaving him staring up at the sky. "You can't kill me Zeus. I have had my revenge. I am done being your pawn." Percy said in a calm, but dangerous tone.

The son of Poseidon turned around and looked at the demigods who were watching him. They were backing away in fear.

"Murderer!" Someone shouted as they all began yelling at him.

Confusion and anger spread across his face. "Why am I the bad guy? Annabeth might die because of him. I did what any one of you would have done!"

But the crowd just continued to call him a murderer and traitor.

"Percy?"

Percy froze. She was alive. A huge smile spread across his face as he turned around and faced Annabeth who was being helped by a couple of children of Apollo.

He took a step toward her, but she just shook her head. "No, you are a murderer. I will not be with someone who murders people."

In that very moment, Percy's whole world came crashing down around him. Tears slowly fell down his face as the love of his life told him to go away.

Soon, those tears turned into steam as his anger got the best of him. "I was always there to protect you. I gave up immortality twice! I fell into hell to save you! I killed the man who almost killed you! I have given up everything to be with you!"

Percy couldn't believe what was happening to him. He does everything for them, but in the end they betrayed him. Athena was right, his fatal flaw had come back to bite him in the ass.

Without another word, Percy took off towards his cabin and began to pack his things, everyone in camp calling him a murderer and a traitor as he ran.

He grabbed everything he would need to survive out in the world. He had a plan, one that would involve a world wide disaster, or just the destruction of Olympus.

He was going to challenge Zeus to a dual, winner takes all.

Half way to the Empire State Building, Percy is knocked out from behind.

...

"Ugh, why does Apollo have to be happy all of the damn time?" Percy complains.

He slowly opened his eyes so they could adjust the to blinding light that surrounded him. Once he was able to open his eyes fully, Percy sat up and began to look around the room for anything he could use to escape. Except he didn't really find what he was looking for.

Or anything at all for that matter. It was completely white all around him, not a speck of black or any other color, just white.

"Um, what the fuck is going on?" Percy asked to nobody in particular.

A deep chuckling resonated from around him, "You are on my planet, young one."

Percy turned around quickly, Riptide in his hand, ready to cut through anything. He came face to face with a man. The man had a deep colored tan and pitch black hair with eyes that looked like smaller versions of the universe.

"My name is Chaos, creator of the universe. I have come to offer you the position as commander of my armies. I know of your situation and of your history. You are the best possible candidate for the job. So what do you say?"

Percy grinned, he was getting a position that was higher than Zeus or anybody else for that matter.

"Fuck yes." Percy said before he was pulled into a swirling vortex.
