CHAPTER-FIVE

"Your leader has stirred embers that I placed on the earth. Soon, the fire will burn brightly for a time, and your president will have use for your services. When the fire burns brightest, I will come to you. It is then that you will serve me." States Levi.

"I do not believe you are God. I have known you for too many years."

"I am not yet the Lord, not as long as I have this earthly form. Soon, I will take my rightful place. Levi and Venus will no longer exist; what you experience through them is the power of God. The day is coming when the city of God will descend from the sky and the harvest will begin. If you can read, you will understand. Be like the young boy whose mother gave him a nickel. He puts it in his hand and continues to play. After an hour, he returns to his mother, crying. The mother asked, 'What's the matter, my child?'"

"He replies, 'Mother, I have lost my nickel.' Together, they retrace his steps and fail to find the coin. Finally, the boy sits in his mother's lap, pulling himself close to her bosom, and there he finally relaxes. At that moment, in the security of his mother's arms, he relaxes his hand. To his surprise, in his hand is the nickel, and he shouts, 'Look, Mommy, I have found my nickel. It was in my hand all the time.' The kingdom of God is like this. If you hold it close, it becomes a part of you. Draw near to me, Claire, and open your eyes."

"If you are the Lord, then why do you create all these charades? Why not just come down and proclaim yourself Lord and bring it all to an end?"

"My lovely child, the purification by fire has already begun. Only the purest will survive and become a part of the Lord. You see life only through this life you have, but your essence or spirit is long-lived. This is only one of your incarnations. The final judgment is when I decide which spiritual souls are worthy of everlasting life in me. I am the human embodiment of the voice or works of God. I am the creative expression of God, who loved his creation so much that he allowed himself to become a part of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and who surrendered all his power to become like his creatures. Now, this process is finished. Levi is the last incarnation of the Lord, and it is time the Lord returns to his rightful place in the universe. The tree of life has put on fruit, and soon this fruit will mature and the harvest will begin. The tree of life that I removed from your access has come to fruition. I cannot hasten its growth and say to it, 'Hurry up and ripen your fruit, for I am hungry.' I am patient for my meal. If I hurry it, then I would have to destroy all the fruit, uproot the tree, and start again with a new seed."

Claire responded, "In my faith, we do not believe in reincarnation of the soul. To us, you live just this one life, and then the Lord judges you by your faith and good works. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then his sacrificial blood has redeemed your sins. How does Christianity fit into your system?"

I am the Christ in one of my incarnations, and my death was a pure sacrifice to redeem the Jews and those who followed his teachings. I am also Elijah, and in the Hindu belief system, I am the great Mahavera and Buddha to the Buddhists. I am the great warrior god Krishna! I'm Brahman! I am Dyaus Pitar, I am Zeus, I am Jupiter, and I am Athena, her wisdom and her logos! I'm Anu, and I'm Re! I'm the Almighty Lord! I'm the sacrifice, and I'm death! I'm life, I'm birth, and I'm rebirth! I'm all, and I'm the invisible and the visible! View the things around you. Consider the hazards of the field. In the spring, they are born; in the summer, they bloom; and in the winter, they die. Next spring, they will be reborn, and the cycle will begin again. All things cycle, and if you perceive that cycle linearly, you'll perceive a wave. Your essence and your spirit are no different from anything else in the universe. You are born, you live, you die, you are reborn, and you live. The scripture refers to Christ as Elijah reborn. You will return to God at the end of days, and at that time, the sun will no longer shine its light upon the earth, and day and night will cease. Then those souls will return to the universe by scattering their seeds among the many worlds. There, they will garden them, and I will walk and talk with them, and they will know me, and I will love them, and they will live the richness of life eternal."

Claire said, "This makes more sense than anything I have ever heard. What do you want of me?"

"Soon, your party will need to replace Hammett on the ticket. Their choice will be Smithson, and he will choose you as his vice president, and at that time I will begin my upheaval. Martial law will prevail throughout the land, and Smithson will assume absolute power, with you at his side."

"I am afraid I will not be high on his list. I have fallen in disfavor with him these last few days."

"Though he may not like you, he will choose you to carry the bell-weather state of Missouri. By choosing you, he will feel like he can control you and your influence. The night before his State of the Union Address, he will be assassinated, and you will assume the Presidency of the United States."

"Who will kill him?"

"A person of my choosing...the world will assume it was a member of my followers, and the worldwide rebellion will begin. Many will die, and you will suppress this rebellion, and you will rule with the hammer of peace."

Claire replied, "As you wish."

As Levi faded, Venus Jackson appeared. She embraced Claire, and Claire could feel her naked body arouse her. Pure love exuded from her, and Claire could not resist the temptation to caress her body and kiss her passionately. Venus said, "Claire, my beloved child, I appear to you as your new guide. Inside me abides the love of the Lord, Adonai. In the coming days, I will always be with you so that you do not falter or stumble. No one will be able to harm you, and when you rule with the Hammer of Peace, I will be that hammer. The day of your death, the Lord will consume your spirit, and you will dwell with us forever."

"How should I address you? Are you Venus or Alinda?"

"I am the embodiment of the Lord's love. Some call me Aphrodite, but my true name is Alinda. You may call me Alinda, Venus, Aphrodite, or Claire; they are all me. At times, I will appear to you as flesh and blood. I will walk and talk to you, and you alone. Others will be unable to see or hear me. It is time for you to return to sleep. When you wake, you will recall all that we have said to you," and when Claire awoke, she could feel the power of pure love engulfing her, and she knew that she would never be alone.
