CHAPTER EIGHT

DAUGHTER OF SATAN, Part 4

Levi said to Venus, "My most lovely, time is drawing near when I shall discard this flesh and return to my true form, but first I must fight the children of Satan and my followers, for I must be betrayed, and I will need your strong support. I will mortally wound Victor, and the Daughter of Lucifer shall free me from this earthen shell. On that day, you will also no longer dwell in a human shell, but your spirit will stay and serve President McDowell. Our daughter Athena must fend for herself, and our daughter Ariel will leave the City of God to join her as her right arm until they reach maturity and swoop down from the north to unify a continent under the ways of righteousness. When my servants betray me, the child of Satan will slay me. Many who follow my voice will lose their faith and return to the ways of the world. They will find shame in their nakedness, and the unbelievers will turn them each to their ways, and they will disperse, but I will not fold; I will return with my sword and my sickle to gather the harvest. Only the most excellent of human spirits will enter my wine press, for they will make a fine new wine for my inebriation. I will call my sheep, and they will know my voice and gather in my name. Then the slaughter will begin. They will make a great addition to the menu for the great feast. The earth will be desolate. When we are finished, no flesh of my flesh will dwell upon the earth, now or forever.

A leader will rise after my demise to lead; she will rule with an iron fist and will bring peace for some time until the daughters of Levi sweep from the north to establish Gog; then the world will be twain—Gog and Magog."

"Yes, my Lord. It will be so."

Reuben blinked and thought that was the damnedest, weirdest déjà vu dream he had ever experienced. "Shit!"

Greta rolled over in bed and said, "What's going on? I was deep asleep, dear." She sat up, and all her senses returned, and she knew Levi Jackson was in town. She dared not read the immense mind of Levi. To do so would surely kill her. She turned to George and said, "George, déjà vu is normal. Everybody experiences it." She knew that Levi had done something that had caused her partner unease. That morning, when Alicia returned with her stuff from the motel, she would inform her that Levi had escaped, but she probably already sensed it.

Reuben rubbed his eyes. "Never mind; I can't remember it now, but it was weird shit. You know the stuff; you wonder how your brain created it, even in a dream. Like, where does the subconscious mind get this weird stuff, you know? It was that kind of dream." He rowed over and was sound asleep. She hadn't known him that long, but she knew men, and one thing she knew was that they could be excited one moment and asleep the next. She drifted off, thinking about the sex she had with Alicia and Reuben yesterday. It wasn't her first girl-girl-guy threesome, but it was her first as a mature woman. Her first had In high school, she had her first date with her best friend and her boyfriend, but it was immature. It was the sort of way you go and I watch experimentation. Next, it was I go and you watch, and there were a couple of sleepovers at the age of twelve where a bunch of girls played around experimenting with their fingers, kissing, and some attempts at cunnilingus, but nothing like last night when it was all out to become one body, and it was unimaginable.

Reuben was awake again, and he saw the smile on Greta's face. He didn't need to be a mind reader to know exactly what she was thinking about. He said, "I know, yesterday with Alicia was incredible. It's like we were tripping. I don't know how to describe it anyway. It was just real and unreal at the same time. Here we are, strangers, and wow!

"You're right, it was incredible. Alicia will be here soon. We have some extra time; do you want to recreate it later on? Would you like her to be your second wife? I don't think it will take much imagination for you to believe that in public. We have to give her a new identity and a new look. She is a well-known scientist who works for NASA JPL Labs. As for my appearance, I can make people who are looking for me see someone else. But Alicia isn't that developed in her mind. We just have to get her to the Temple of the Voice without any agents seeing her."

"We are two of the best agents that our agencies have to offer, so we can pull it off." Replied Reuben.

Let's do some unpacking after we eat a bite. Alicia will be here in an hour or so. She stopped to eat at the motel. When she gets here, we will discuss a few things, and if there is time afterward, we can play around some more." She was quiet for a moment when she heard Reuben's voice in her head say, Nice. That is a great idea, Betty. She smiled from ear to ear.

"You are coming along just fine. There may be hope for you yet.

"Another thing about the followers of Levi that I want you to remember, George. They don't have a sense of entitlement. Unlike us normal folk, they don't lord it over each other. They naturally give authority to the person best suited for a position. Power-mongering is considered beneath them, as is petty jealousy. If a person is found to be jealous, the group won't shun them, but they'll lovingly teach him or her the ways of the Lord. If nothing seems to work, they will alter his brain chemistry through meditation and prayer. We must not show or feel any jealousy whatsoever, or our mission is finished. Working with Alicia is essential. However, adultery is not allowed with someone who is not a spouse. They are married to each other because it is a covenant with Adonai, the Lord. They would never attempt to have sex with anyone outside of this communal relationship. Everyone would sense it, and he or she would undergo counseling until that member saw the error of their action.
