Chapter 9: I probably should have listened.
"Mmf!" I yelled.
"You sure you don't wanna take off the gag, Lee?" 'Rence' asked 'Lee'.
"Shut up, Rence. I know it's annoying as fuck but we gotta be cautious. You know how loud this girl can scream." Lee replied.
Everyone else in the car burst out laughing while I snickered.
"What?" Lee asked, clearly vexed.
"'You know how loud this girl can scream.'" The guy in the purple mask repeated, making all of us burst out laughing again.
Well, except for Lee.
"You are all so immature. I didn't expect you to be like them, Ollie." Lee sneered.
Ollie?
My heart suddenly just skipped a beat.
What the hell? I don't even know the guy!
Okay, okay. Let's back up a bit.
Cue the replaying in 2.0 speed playback in Youtube.
"Wake up, sleepyhead." I heard a voice say as they shook me awake.
"No." I whined and tried to snuggle closer to my pillow but hit my head on a... window?
My eyes snapped open and out of surprise as I hit my head on the window again.
Travis burst out laughing as I glared at him.
"You're such a retarded girl." He told me.
"I know." I whined as I rubbed my forehead.
"Anyway, I took you to the park... Like you wanted." He said awkwardly.
You see, this park wasn't just any park.
It's the Gold Wing Park. It's probably a two to three hour ride but it's worth it.
There's even a cute ice cream shop near it!
I should ask Travis if we can go later. My favorite is their best seller which is the 'Bloody Coney' which is an ice cream with edible eyes and strawberry syrup drizzled on it to seem like blood.
"Hey, Trav. Can we go to Ick Creme later?" I asked.
Yes, they have a weird name.
"Sure. Let me guess, you're gonna get Bloody Coney?" He said.
"Yup!"
"Only you, Dayana. Only you." He said with a lazy smile.
I got out of the car- erm, more like hopped out.
"Let's go!" I said as I grabbed Travis' hand as I sprinted inside the park.
"Woah, easy tiger." Travis said with a chuckle.
We immediately got to the spot where we always stay. The tree in front of the small pond in the park. It also had a tire swing hanging from it.
I admit that I often fight kids just to sit on it.
"I got food." Travis said.
"Ah, yes. The three words and eight letters that win my heart all the time." I said as I grabbed his bag and started looking for Pringles.
I know he packed it here somewhere!
"Yes! I found it!" I said as I raised it in the air, causing a few heads to turn our direction.
Travis laughed, "Sorry 'bout that. She's a bit well, crazy."
Didn't we have a rule about that word?
I ignored what he said and continued munching.
After a few minutes of Travis glaring at every guy who even just glances at us and me finishing the Pringles in my hand, I've finally finished.
Okay, yeah. That sentence sounds weird to me.
"Trav." I whined.
"What?" He asked.
"I want water."
"Go buy some." He said as he gave me money.
"I'm too lazy." I giggled.
"Well, I'm not buying it for you." He stated.
"Oh, what if a guy suddenly bumps into me? What if a kidnapper sees me, all alone and lost? What if I do get lost? Then I won't be-"
"Shut up! Fine, I'll buy it for you. Just promise that you'll stay here?" He said as he held out his pinky.
He's so childish.
I pinky-sweared and he went off.
I took out my phone and leaned against the tree as I started reading on an app called Wattpad.
"What?! They can't kiss! Naomi belongs to Bennett and Declan belongs to Jordan!" I said angrily as I commented that thought.
People turned my way again, wondering what the hell I was doing.
Nine chapters and twenty two minutes later, Travis still isn't here and I'm thirsty!
I put my phone back in my pocket and started to look for Travis.
Completely forgetting how large the park is and that I barely know the areas around here because only Travis guides me.
For some reason, I ended up in a place were there were no people and just a dead tree with a broken fountain.
I facepalmed, "I'm so stupid! I have a phone!"
Why am I so stupid?
I took out my phone and-
It died.
Did I spend too much time reading?!
Why do I feel like my life is a book or a movie? It's too clichè to be in real life!
"Travis!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
"You seem lost." A deep voice commented.
"Oh, you think?" I growled as I turned around.
Hot chunky balls they are hot.
But all of them were wearing masks that covered half of their face.
Three of them covered their nose and lips while two covered their eyes.
"Uh..." was all I could say.
Being surrounded by five hot guys is probably every girls' dream, but this is a nightmare because...
They have flip flappin' guns.
"What the hell are y'all doing with guns in broad daylight?!" I screamed.
"I forgot how noisy she was, geez." A guy with a mask covering his eyes said.
"Are those bones on your mask?" I asked curiously.
"Yup! We made this when we were- ow!"
"Shut up, Rence." A guy with a black mask covering his eyes said.
His mask was beautiful. It reminded me of a raven.
"Oh, right. Her condition. Sorry, Lee." Rence apologized.
The other three guys were suddenly pointed their guns at me.
And I screamed.
"Shut up or we'll shoot you!" Lee yelled.
In a few moments, one of them had a cloth over my mouth and I started to fell dizzy.
Travis is gonna kill me.
Mwahahaha! I have left all of a you in a cliff-hanger! The next chapter will be the second part of this chapter.
Who knows which book Dayana was reading?
I'll shoutout whoever will be the first to guess it!
