Natsu's pov:
I walk up behind Lucy and put my arm around her shoulder. She jumps a little then looks at me "Oh, hey Natsu! This is my friend Sting." She looks at Sting "Sting this is my friend Natsu." She looks back at me and smiles "I used to go to school with him. Back when I went to Sabertooth High." Sting smiles at me and reaches his hand out for me to shake "Hi Natsu, it's nice to meet you." I look away from him "tch" he looked shocked and put his arm back to his side. "Natsu! Stop being rude!" Lucy said angrily "no it's ok Lucy. I don't mind" Sting said waving his hands around. "Are you sure? He doesn't normally act like this?" He nods and Lucy looks down "ok if you say so." I glance at Lucy and was about to say something when Sting interrupts me "oh hey, Lucy, by the way! Wonderful news!" She looked at him and tilted her head a bit "ya what is it?" Sting smiled widely "you know that all girls school Mermaid Heel?" Lucy nodded slowly "Well the student president moved to our school to be with her boyfriend, our friend and my brother, Rogue!" Sting yelled excitedly. Lucy had stars in her eyes "OH MY MAVIS! REALLY!?" Sting nods "Yup! I still can't believe it either!" Lucy begins to cry loudly and I tap her shoulder "Luce, everyone is looking and we are probably going to get kicked out if you and Sting continue to yell." I say and Lucy looked worried "o-oh, ya I totally forgot we were in the book store... sorry" Lucy apologized and looked down all sad. Sting and I look at each other with a 'oh shit she's gonna cry' look. Sting and I quickly took her to the food court and found a stand with a lot of sweets and showed her. She looked at all of them and perked right up and we both laughed nervously while Lucy was picking all of the ones she wanted "I want this one and that one, oh and that one, ah and what about this one! I want one of each!" She declared. I looked like (⊙＿⊙') while Sting looked like (　〇□〇）

Lucy's pov:
Natsu and Sting brought me to the food court so I wouldn't cry and they showed me all of these delicious sweets! "I want one of each please!" I say and the guys faces were priceless! "Yes ma'ma, That will be $130" he says and I turn around on my heels and looked at Natsu and Sting. "Thanks for paying guys!" I smile at them and the slouch over. They walk to the man and they both hand him $65. I just giggled and pat their heads "thank you guys.. for real thank you" I say and they both look at me and give me a small smile.
The man hands me 5 big bags full of treats and the guys help carry them as we walk away to find the rest. "Hey Natsu, Sting, lets go and put all of this in my brothers car and we'll come back in her, k?" They nod and we walk out of the mall. Of course my brother being well.. himself, his door is unlocked. We put the bags of sweets in the back seat and close the doors. We walk back into the mall and head to Hit Topic. "Oh shit... hey guys I have to go it's about Yukino" Sting says and I turn to him quickly "oh no, is she ok?" I ask worriedly and he nods "ya it's just that.." he was about to tell me when he gets a call and answers it "yes, yes I know.. right I swear I'm on my way Rogue!"
I look at him confused and shaky "what? WHATS WRONG!?" I yell and he shakes his head like he wanted to say something but also in the state of completely shock "Lucy.. I have to go I'm sorry!" He runs away and I was about to run after him but Natsu grabs me and I look back at him shaking his head. "It's obvious this is none of our business." I looked at him in complete shock "none of our business? You've got to be shitting me Natsu! Yukino and everyone else at Sabertooth High are my friends! THE HELL ITS NOT MY BUSINESS!! I'VE BARELY EVEN KNOWN YOU! STOP TRYING TO ACT LIKE YOU'VE KNOWN ME FOREVER BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T!" Everyone was now looking at us. I start to run after Sting and catch up with him. I grab his hand "Sting wait! Please let me come with you! I need to know if she's ok!" He was silent for a moment "please.. I beg of you.. she's my friend too.." I say and he gives in "ok fine let's hurry" I follow him to his car as I see Natsu walking out of the mall and we lock eyes "Lucy? Are you su-" I stop him and look away from Natsu with no regret "just drive" he nods and drives off.

Sting's pov:
Did Lucy and Natsu get into a fight or something? Like the hell. I was driving and deep in my thoughts when I hear Lucy start to talk "Sting? ... what's wrong with Yukino? What happened to her while I was gone?" I stayed quite for a few minutes then answered "not while you were gone. You were still at Sabertooth High when it happened she was just too scared to tell you" she looked at me "what!? What's wrong with her? Please tell me Sting!" She yells and I look over to her to see tears in the corners of her eyes. I sigh and give in "Yukino was... well she was diagnosed for cancer a few months ago but the doctors told her she would be alright.. but they were wrong. She has stage 4 brain cancer now and it's spreading.. Lucy... she only has a month or so to live."
