Let's Get Started
I woke up to a knock on the bedroom door. I just moaned and Storm came through the doors looking worried. She turned off the tv and took a look at me. She said "Miss Nicole you have an appointment this morning and I believe you may need a bath along with breakfast. How are you feeling?"
I sat up and told her I had a little headache but I was fine. She pointed to the night stand which has a bottle of aspirin and bottled water. I thanked her. She explained that she brought it in last night before she went to bed.
After taking two pills and picking out my clothing for the day I made myself a bubble bath. Storm decided to go get my breakfast. The bubble bath felt so good with the jets on. I don't know how long I relaxed in it before Storm came back to let me know I had to eat still.
Breakfast was simple and before I knew it the doctor had arrived. It was nice to have the doctor come to me instead of me going to him.
Dr. Jacobs was an older white man with white hair. He was evidently older than fifty but he moved around like he was in his twenties. First he sat down and talked about my health and menstruation. My period was due in two days which came regularly. Then he went over the process of fertilization. Finally he did a pelvic exam. I asked about being a virgin and my options with the birth. He told me he could do a c-section but that required a hospital stay. That's something I needed to discuss with Michael.
The doctor gave me two kinds of medicine. One for the production of eggs which was a daily injection and the other was prenatal vitamins. The prenatal vitamins would help my body get ready for pregnancy. Then he left.
The rest of the day free to do whatever I wanted. I chose a book and went to lounge on the bed.
Storm came in at noon with grilled cheese and soup. She must have known I wanted to relax for the day. She also asked me for a list of snacks I wanted to put in my make shift kitchen. She also asked me what movies I liked or had a desire to see. Also if I needed anything at all from the store. I wrote out a list for snacks, movies, and my personal needs.
Before she left she told me Michael would be stopping by to speak with me. That alone got me rushing to eat and check myself over to make sure I looked perfect.
While waiting for him I made up the bed and put the book away that I was reading. I nearly ran to the door when he knocked.
"I'm sorry about last night I shouldn't have drank more than one glass of wine." I wanted to be the first to speak and apologize.
He chuckled a little and said "That was actually fun. You talk so much more drunk."
I stepped away from the door, he came in and closed the it. I turned to him before sitting as said "Are you serious? I didn't mean to talk too much."
He sat on the other end of the couch and said "I was entertained for once. I wanted to know more about you."
"And what did you think?" I asked nervously.
He thought for a minute then said "You're perfect! You're smart, ambitious, beautiful, and a little old fashion. Not many people are old fashion these days."
Once again I blushed. I asked "Old fashion, how?"
He turned his whole body towards me and rubbed his knee. He said "You still believe in a man sweeping you off your feet, you're saving yourself for that one true love, and I can tell by the way you carry yourself."
I just sat there gazing in those gorgeous eyes. We both were in a trance. He finally looked away.
He said "Dr. Jacobs says everything looks good and he also spoke to me about doing a c-section. I am fine with that if you are." I nodded. "I am going to be away for about a week on business. I wanted to tell you myself instead of one of the staff. If you need anything just tell them they will fulfill your every need and wants."
This didn't bother me, I didn't expect to see him that much anyways. I said "I will be fine, I have plenty to do."
He stood and said "You can come and go as you please. Just when you start showing I ask that you be careful about paparazzi seeing you."
I didn't have anywhere to go at the time. He walked over to the phone and showed me how to call the kitchen staff, Storm, and finally him. It was my own personal line.
He explained that he would leave in the early hours of the morning so he was skipping dinner to get some sleep.
He headed to the door and told me bye. I told him to be careful and I promised him I would be alright until he got back. And that's the last I seen him for almost a week.
