"Fairy tail academy?" Mira stood up from her chair almost making it fall over, "What happened to fairy tail academy?"

"You know it?" Chelia asked.

"My brother and sister go there and one of my close friends." She grabbed her shoulders and met eye level with her, "please tell me what happened?"

"All I remeber was soldiers breaking in and told us they were taking us to veena's lab."

"Why would they take you there? Who's Veena?"

"She's a scientist and the soldiers boss I guess. I remember one of the soldiers telling us she was taking us to make us into weapons."

"Weapons? Why would she do that?"

"I don't know? That's all I know." Mira ran over to her phone dialing a number, "who are you calling?"

"I'm calling them to make sure they are ok." She tapped her foot on the ground, while playing with a stand of her hair, "Damn..." She hung up and dialed another number and repeated the process a number of times, "please pick up..." She whispered, pain evident in her voice.

The phone went straight to voicemail, "Hey! This is Lis, please leave a message when you hear the beep-"

"Damn it!" Mira threw her phone against the wall, shattering it into hundreds of pieces. She fell to the ground, sobbing.

"Mira..." Chelia stood up, walking over to her, "are you ok-"

"Please don't touch me right now," She whispered. Chelia drew her hand back, staring at her in grief. Mira put her hand over her mouth, gagging. She rushed to the bathroom, pushing the door open. She threw up, feeling sick to her stomach.

Chelia rushed behind her making sure she was ok, "Mira!" She yelled in shock. Chelia rushed to a closet to find a towel for her. She came back to, the still throwing up, Mira, "take this." She handed the towel to her which Mira gladly accepted.

She wiped her mouth and sat against the tub, staring into space, "I can't even keep a promise," She whispered.

Chelia sat beside her, "What do you mean?"

"I made a promise to my parents that I would never let anything happen to them." She covered her face, letting the tears fall down, soaking her hand, "I'm such a failure! I couldn't even protect the only people I have left! I should have never let them go there, I should have told them to stay here!" She ran her fingers through her hair while pulling at it, "I'm so sorry..." She kept repeating, rocking back and forth, "im so sorry, I'm so sorry."

Chelia watched as Miras world broke down in pieces. She gently pulled Mira so she could lay her head on Chelia's lap. Mira fell onto her lap soaking her pants in her tears and letting out her gentle screams. Chelia sat there stroking her hair, "don't cry Mirajane," She whispered, "we will get them back, I promise."

Mira wiped her face, "don't make promises you can't keep Chel. We can't stop an army by ourselves."

"They took my friend too and there's no way I can leave her behind. So you can garuntee that I will get her back and your family."

"Luna! Are you almost ready?" Cana yelled into the bathroom.

"Yeah, just give me a second." She stared in the mirror at her blood shot eyes and the purple bags under her eyes. She tried touching them but they were sore to the touch. She grabbed her chest in pain as she felt the burning sensation in her chest building up, "not again." She rushed to her bag to see if she had any of her medicine left, "no, no, no, no..." She emptied her bag on the floor scattering her things all over the floor, "I just need need one more!" She threw her bag against the wall making a dent. She stared down at her hands, "They're coming back.."

"I can't believe this," Natsu pouted, struggling to walk down the hallway.

"Me either," Gray pouted along with him.

"Why couldn't someone else carry you?!" Natsu walked down the hallway with Gray hanging on his shoulder, "what the heck do you eat?! it feels like you weigh about seven hundred pounds!"

"Hey! It's two hundred and twenty thank you very much."

"Same thing!"

"I can't believe you can't even pick up someone who is a little over two hundred pounds." Natsu could feel Grays smirk causing him to grit his teeth, "It's so like you to be this weak."

"I can still drop you y'know!"

"Natsu! Gray!" Juvia ran down the hallway, smiling ear to ear, with a wheelchair, "I finally found one."

"Thank god!" Natsu said, dropping Gray on a nearby chair.

"You didn't have to drop me so hard you idiot!"

Natsu shrugged, "I was too weak." He smirked walking past him and headed out to the truck.

"He's such a jerk," Gray whispered.

"But he's still your friend," Juvia said, supporting Gray on the chair.

"That idiot is not my friend," he pouted, crossing his arms.

"Whatever you say Mr. Grumpy pants," Juvia said, pinching Grays cheek.

Cana glanced down at her watch, "What is she doing in there?" She banged on the door once again, "Luna come on! We don't have much time..."

The door opened revealing Luna with her bag on her shoulder and her head down with her hair covering her face, "im here, we can go now." She tried rushing past Cana so she couldn't see her face.

"Hold it right there troublemaker." Luna stopped dead in her tracks and  cursed to herself for not going fast enough. Cana squinted her eyes, slowly walking toward Luna, "What were you doing in there all that time?"

"Umm..." Luna was trying to think of an exscuse quickly, "it was lady business."

"Huh... lady business."

"Yeah, but I'm done now so we should get going now." Luna tried speeding off again but was quickly stopped again.

"Tell me the truth Luna." Cana's voice was stern and strong. She folded her arms staring Luna down so she could give her an answer.

"I-I am."

"I don't like liars," Cana said, "so are we going to have to sit here or are you going to tell me the truth?"

"I don't have to tell you anything." Luna whispered.

Cana stared at her in disbelief, "What?"

"Let's just forget about this ok?"

Cana grabbed Lunas shoulder, "remember our promise Lu."

Luna could hear the pain in her voice, "you know I couldn't lie to you Cana." She swallowed the lump in her throat, almost causing her to choke. She thought she couldn't tell anyone about her powers or she would be treated differently.

Just like her mom.

Cana sighed, "Alright."

Luna positioned her bag back on her shoulders, "we should get going now." Luna walked out of the room, guilt obvious in her eyes.

Cana watched as she walked out, "yeah..."
