"What book?" Jellal asked.

"Before I came here my mom gave me a book. She said everything I needed to know is in there."

"Well, where is it now?" Levy asked.

"In my dorm..."

Everyone groaned, "of course, and we probably won't be able to get out of here until midnight." Gray leaned back in his chair.

"We could sneak out." Everyone turned to see Cana with an evil smirk plastered on her face.

"There's no way we can sneak out, ever since that light from the sky gramps has this place locked up like a fortress. No one is getting out without being seen."

"I know a way." Everyone turned their heads to Gajeel, "there's an air duct in here that connects to everyroom in the school."

"And how do you know that?" Natsu asked, readjusting his glasses.

"I've been in detention enough times to know how this whole room works."

"Enough talking, let's get to work." Jellal said.

One by one they each went into the old air ducts filled with cobwebs, spiders, and a whole lot of dust.

"Which room is it?" Gajeel asked, leading the way.

"Room twenty-nine." Cana said.

"Get your butt out of my face!" Gray yelled.

"Get your face out of my butt then!" Natsu yelled back.

"Do you guys want me to turn around!" Gajeel yelled, "we have to be quiet. Our voices will echo into each room."

"Fine, then tell Flamebrain over here to crawl a little faster."

"You know what ice princess-"

"Enough!" Luna said, "your petty arguments are getting on my nerves. Once we make it to the room you guys can argue all you want. Got it!"

"Whatever." They both whispered.

"Now keep crawling!"

"Sheesh, for a little kid she sure is bossy..." Gray said.

"And scary." Natsu added.

"Ok guys, the room is right below us, but we need to go down one by- hey!" Everyone rushed in front of Gajeel, and out of the vents, falling on to the hard wood floor.

Gajeel rubbed his head, "What the hell was that about!?"

"Natsu decided to let one loose." Cana said, covering her nose, "I think I almost passed out."

"At least you weren't the one near his butt." Gray said, coughing.

"Better out than in." Natsu smirked.

"Do you want me to kill you?" Erza threatened.

"I would like to see you try-"

"Not the time!" Juvia yelled.

"Thank god I was in the back." Levy said rubbing her head. She glanced around the room until she saw one paticular person who didn't belong, "What is she doing here?"

They all turned to see the blonde haired beauty, sitting in one of the chairs, eating popcorn, "Umm hi?"

Erza rushed in front of everyone, while drawing her sword in mid air, pointing it at Lucy, "What do you think you're doing here?!" She yelled.

"I-I umm..."

Cana and Luna rushed in front of Lucy, blocking Erza's sword, "What do you think you're doing?!" Cana yelled.

"You guys need to get away from her, she's dangerous." She continued pointing the sword at the three of them.

"The only person here who is dangerous is the one holding the sword."

"You don't understand what she is."

"And you do!?" Luna asked.

"Just listen-"

"No you listen, you will put your sword away before I make you." Luna threatened.

"And how do you suppose you'll make me?" Erza glared.

"Keep pointing your sword at her and you'll see."

"Woah, woah, woah. Ok guys, that's enough playing around." Gray said, nervously.

"I'm not playing." Luna said, returning the glare.

"Look kid I don't want to hurt you, but if you don't move out the way then I'll happily move you with force."

"Then what are you waiting for!?"

"Come on Erza, enough. She looks harmless, like she couldn't even hurt a fly." Natsu said.

"You don't understand what she's capable of."

"Erza enough, like Natsu said she looks harmless." Juvia said.

"I've seen what she's capable of, remember the incident five years ago?"

"Yeah when half the school exploded, I know I was there." Natsu said.

"Remember the casualties?"

"It was just three people injured."

"And one of my friends died! She killed her!"

He sighed, "I know, but it was an accident."

"Now you're making excuses for her! She killed her!"

"It was an accident!"

"I dont care! I'm not letting the same thing happen again, so you two better move or I will make you!" Her sword began to glow.

"Erza stop!" Levy yelled.

The two girls stood their ground, not daring to move aside.

"I said move!"

"No!" Luna yelled.

Lucy stood up, "It's ok guys." She put her hands on their shoulders, "I have to deal with this."

They both turned around to see Lucy standing their, tears running down her face, but she had a smile. They didn't want to move, but there was a look in Lucys eyes telling them to trust her.

They both moved aside, "you've made the right choice."

Lucy stepped foward until Erza's sword was a inch away from touching her throat, "you know you don't deserve to live for what you did!"

"I know, and I'm sorry."

"Bullshit! You aren't sorry! You couldn't even go to her funeral! Do you even know her name!"

"I remember all their names and there's not a day that goes by that I forget what I have done."

"I should kill you where you stand!" Erza whispered, extending her sword to reach her neck.

"Then do it." Lucy stood her ground.

"What?"

"I said do it."

"You don't care if you die right here, right now? You're not scared?"

"No, death sounds better than waking up ever night reliving that night, hearing there screams over and over again, remembering all the damage you've done. Death sounds better than getting bullied everyday and being called a monster. So no I'm not scared by death, I welcome it."

Erza continued to stare at her, pointing her sword, "for five long years you've caused me so much pain, I dreamed of the day I could confront you and avenge her, but now... I can't do it." She dropped her sword and fell to the ground, "I thought revenge would relieve me of this pain, but if I killed you it would have only made it worse." Her bangs covered her eyes, so no one could see the tears that were threatening to fall.

Lucy fell down next to her and lifted her chin, "It's ok to cry, Erza."

It was like something broke inside her as she let all those tears that she held inside fall, "Im so sorry."

Lucy grabbed her into a hug and cried along side her, "I'm sorry too, I didn't know how much pain I caused you and I'm so sorry for that."

Erza hugged her tighter, needing the embrace from someone.

Luna wiped a tear from her eye, "beautiful." She looked up at Cana to see her smiling, "you're not crying?"

"Oh I don't cry. Never have, never will." They both heard sniffles coming from beside them. They turned to see Natsu, Gray, Jellal, and Gajeel crying their eyes out.

"That was so beautiful." Jellal said, wiping his tears.

"I'm an emotional wreck now!" Natsu said as he blew his nose on Gajeel's jacket.

"Hey!"

Both Erza and Lucy looked up at each other, "can you ever forgive me?" Lucy said wiping some of Erza's tears.

"I just did."

"Maybe we can go together and see her together."

"Definitely, I'm sure Kagura would like that."
