S1 E59: The Crimson Harvest.
Evelina stood at the entrance of the Infernal Cavern, her breath catching as waves of heat rolled out from the depths. The labyrinth was alive—magma flowed through jagged veins of rock, casting flickering shadows. Flames danced in the distance, and faint growls echoed, hinting at the fire creatures that roamed within.
In her hand, the crown felt heavier than usual, its fiery stone fragment faintly pulsing against her palm.
"Just one step closer," Evelina muttered to herself, brushing her auburn hair away from her sweat-slicked forehead. She tightened her grip on the crown and stepped into the blazing cavern.
As she moved deeper, the stone fragment's pulse quickened, beating like a second heart. The air grew thicker, the heat almost unbearable. Evelina pressed on, weaving through molten rivers and crumbling pathways, her eyes fixed on the faint glow ahead.
Suddenly, a deep, guttural growl broke the silence. From the shadows, a massive fire beast emerged, its body molten and crackling. It roared, flames bursting from its mouth.
Evelina didn’t hesitate. She raised her hands, channeling her magic. "Not today!" she yelled, releasing a surge of energy. A shimmering barrier of light encased her as the beast lunged. It slammed into the shield, snarling, but Evelina pushed back, her magic forcing it into retreat.
With the beast subdued, she hurried forward. The glow intensified, and there it was—the Fire Stone, nestled atop a jagged pedestal surrounded by flames. The stone fragment in her crown pulsed faster, heating up with every step she took.
Evelina reached out, her fingers trembling, as she stood before the stone. The fragment in her crown was blazing now, almost too hot to touch. She placed the crown carefully onto the pedestal, aligning it with the stone. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, the cavern seemed to tremble.
The Fire Stone shot upward, spinning in a fiery whirlwind before embedding itself into the crown. A brilliant blaze erupted, momentarily blinding Evelina. When the light faded, the crown gleamed in fiery hues, its first stone in place.
A slow clap echoed through the cavern. Evelina spun around, heart pounding.
"Well, well," came a smooth, venomous voice. A woman stepped out of the shadows, her dark gown shimmering like black smoke. Her hair fell in raven waves, and her green eyes glowed unnaturally.
"Who are you?" Evelina demanded, raising her guard.
The woman tilted her head, a sly smirk playing on her lips. "The queen of Eclipse. But you, little girl, can call me your end."
Evelina tightened her grip on the crown. "Ive read about you, you greedy psychic bitch, What do you want after making this world hell?"
Helena chuckled, stepping closer. "The same thing you want and I make this world strong with dark magic, people with good heart cant rule on mecatopia. So, gimme the crown, child."
Magic crackled in the air as Helena raised her hands. Dark green energy swirled around her fingers, and the cavern darkened. "Hand it over, and I might let you live."
Evelina smirked. "Sorry, but that's not happening."
Helena's smirk twisted into a snarl. "Then die!"
The two clashed, Helena’s dark magic colliding with Evelina’s radiant spells. Fire and shadows swirled around them as they exchanged attacks. Helena’s power was relentless, her green energy surging like venomous waves. Evelina countered with fiery blasts, drawing strength from the crown as it burned brightly.
“You’re strong, child” Helena said, her voice laced with mockery, “but not strong enough to defeat a dragon blood.”
Evelina gritted her teeth, summoning a burst of light that forced Helena back. “We’ll see about that.”
Helena’s eyes burned with fury as she prepared another attack, but Evelina took her chance. She thrust her hand forward, creating a shimmering portal behind her. The crown in her grasp glowed as she stepped back into the portal.
“You can’t run forever!” Helena screamed. “I’ll kill you, ugly girl! That crown is mine!”
Evelina didn’t respond. She disappeared into the portal just as Helena’s magic struck the space she had been standing in.
The portal closed with a shimmer, leaving Helena standing alone in the cavern, her fists clenched. “You’ve only delayed the inevitable,” she muttered.
Evelina landed on solid ground, her heart racing. She looked down at the crown in her hands, now glowing faintly with fiery light. One stone down, she thought. Eleven to go.
She took a deep breath and looked ahead. The next destination was clear in her mind: the Hidden Temple of Tides beneath the Blood Lake. But she knew this wasn't over. Helena was coming and she wouldn't stop until the crown was hers.
Evelina squared her shoulders, determination flaring in her chats "Let her try." She whispered, stepping forward.
The crowd is gathered around the huge stage at hallowdale and waiting for tonight's quest event. Isabella and other supernaturals standing on stage with hand their families artifacts.
Professor said "it's time to start the event. The crowd start clapping and shouting. Than Professor call Isabella first. Isabella come at stage and Professor ask the first question.
"If you were to cast an incantation to manipulate time, which element would you channel, and how would you control the impact on parallel timelines?"
Isabella take a deep breath and said "I would use the element of spirit combined with ancient time runes. To avoid splitting parallel timelines, I'd cast a stabilizing ward, binding the spell to a single point in time."
"How would you extract a memory safely using a memory-binding rune? Describe its application in dark magic detection." Professor ask.
"By binding the rune with light magic, I'd channel it gently to avoid damaging the memory source, then use it to detect any dark magic taint without disrupting the memory."
Than its turn to Aurora
"In what way can fairy dust alter the structural integrity of metals, and how might it be used in defensive charms?" Professor ask.
Aurora replies "Fairy dust can fuse with metals to increase durability. I'd bind it with a protection spell, making it nearly impervious against magical strikes."
"Describe the binding ritual to enchant an ordinary plant with fae magic. What ethical considerations arise from this enchantment?" Professor Adam's ask.
Aurora replies "Fae magic connects to a plant's life source, amplifying growth. However, this bond should respect the plant's nature to avoid altering the ecosystem balance."
Than, Professor ask to Sirela "Explain how a siren can manipulate water density to amplify her voice. Could this skill be used in air, and if so, how?"
She replied "A siren can manipulate water molecules, making sound waves travel faster. To use this in air, I would compress moisture to create a similar amplification effect."
Than, Lysandra "What protective ritual would you use to safeguard a pack's territory using lunar energy, and what dangers might it attract?"
She replies "A moon-veil barrier would draw on lunar strength. However, it may attract dark entities seeking lunar energy, so I'd reinforce it with protective sigils."
Than, Salena "Describe how vampire hypnosis can be enhanced using moonstone, and the ethical risks of such enhancement."
She said "Moonstone enhances hypnotic focus, making it potent. I'd use it cautiously to avoid involuntary control, maintaining respect for autonomy."
They almost has given 10 10 answers. And now its results time Professor Adams standing at podium and after taking a deep breath he said "after looking at your answer I've seen only 5 winner among you 10.
He said the 5th is Aurora, than Aurora Rubyrose start smiling and taking a sigh, 4th is Isabella Valeria, everyone was clapping for her. 3rd is Salena Varro, She with charismatic smile looking at crowd. Than Professor take a deep breath and said the second student is Lysandra Adam's because of her lunar knowledge. And 1st is Maria Myrtle because of her Vampire blood knowledge.
Isabella hugs Sirela and said "dont worry, girl. You perform very well"
Professor said "we have our 5 finalist and with them our event is now end. Meet you all tomorrow at here among you. Good night everyone."
Everyone going to their home. While phillip hold Isabella's hand and after kissing on her neck he said "meet me at waterfall, tonight."
They kissed and left to their homes.
Phillip sits alone in the moonlight near waterfall, waiting for Isabella, his fingers nervously drumming on the ground. Suddenly, he feels a chill run down his spine. Thinking Isabella is behind him, he turns around, but no one is there. Then, without warning, he's pulled into a vision, as if dragged out of the waterfall and into another world.
He's back in that ancient tomb. The air feels heavy, damp, and thick with the scent of decay. Strange symbols glow faintly on the walls, casting eerie shadows that dance around him.
Phillip's voice shaking, looking around "Not again... What is this place?"
Helena steps forward, her presence sharp and overpowering. She looks more solid, more real this time, as if the vision is becoming clearer.
Helena said calmly "This is where it all began, Phillip. The tomb where the crown was hidden... and where the betrayal happened. You need to understand the power you're up against."
Phillip clenching his fists, trying to stay steady "Why are you showing me this? I don't want anything to do with it."
Helena's lips curve into a faint smirk.
Helena order "You don't have a choice, Phillip. This is your destiny. Whether you want it or not, you will help me."
The tomb seems to pulse around him, like it's alive, watching him. Then, Helena steps closer, her voice colder, sharper.
Helena said "You know what you must do, Phillip. You must kill Isabella."
Phillip's heart stops, anger flashing in his eyes.
Phillip said "I won't do it. I love her."
Helena's expression darkens, but she remains calm, a glint of satisfaction in her eyes.
Helena said "What if I offer you something more valuable than love?"
Phillip hesitates, looking at her, suspicion in his gaze. "What do you mean?"
Helena said "What if I told you the name of the one responsible for the massacre at your village? The one who took your mother?" her voice soft but piercing.
Phillip's breath catches. For a moment, the tomb fades as the old memories flood back, the screams, the fire, the loss. He looks at Helena, torn, as her words echo in his mind.
In an instant, he's back at the waterfall, his hands trembling, his heart pounding. The vision fades, but Helena's words linger, and Phillip is left alone, struggling with the impossible choice in front of him.
Behind him Isabella was standing and hold his hand and she sees in his eyes and ask "what happen phillip?"
Phillip pushes her and left the place in anger while she looking at him. Phillip standing in his room punching on wall, crying and screaming. He doesnt know what he has to do now? Than, Isabella knock on his door, he said "I'm busy". Than Isabella push the door and get in room.
She saw phillip eyes are filled with tears, the blood on wall and his hand was bleeding. She place her hand on his cheak, their eyes met, and Isabella ask "why are you doing this?"
Phillip eyes filled with tears, he hug Isabella very tight, a tight hug which make their 2 souls in one. He said "I'm in trouble."
"Isabella, kiss on his cheek and said "tell me, my love". Isabella said.
"As you know about my past, the crimson harvest. The mystery I'm solving for centuries which still unsolved. And Helena manipulating my mind." Phillip said.
"What?" Isabella shocked "what she saying?"
"She wants to turn me into my dark past, the dark one I was in past, a bloodlust vampire who wants to kill every human and forcing me to do worst thing. if I do this she will tell me the name of the person who massacre at village." Phillip said.
"What kinda worst work? What she really wants from you and please phillip dont switch your humanity off, you are good this." Isabella said. "And if you wants to find answers of the unsolved history than, I'm here. We will find out who massacre at your village."
Isabella holds Phillip's hand and start kissing him, biting his lips and touching tongue to tongue. She pushed him on bed and sit on him.
