S1 E51:The Letter of Fire. (Most Horror Chapter)
The hidden chamber of dragons was cold and silent, a place untouched by time. The air felt heavy, filled with the whispers of ancestors long gone. Isabella stood before the towering portrait of her mother, Hayley, her hand trembling as she held the ancient letter written in Draconian. The ink had faded, yet the words seemed alive, pulsing with the magic of a woman who had sacrificed everything.
Aurora watched from a few steps behind, hesitant to speak. She could see the storm brewing in Isabella's eyes, the quiet agony of a heart shattered by truths too sharp to bear. Isabella unfolded the letter, her fingers shaking, and began to read aloud, her voice breaking like a fragile thread.
> "My dearest Isabella,
If you are reading this letter, it means I am no longer with you. My love, I am so sorry for leaving you to face this cruel world alone. There was no other way. I had to make a choice, not for myself, but for you. For our lineage. For Mecatopia.
My father betrayed me. He promised to stand by my side, yet he crowned Helena as the rightful heir. She was never meant to sit on that throne. She was born of deceit and darkness, and her hatred for me has no end. Even now, she plots to kill me and destroy our legacy.
After knowing that, there is not any other way to faught with helena and her siblings. I made a decision. A painful, heart-wrenching decision. To preserve our bloodline, to save you, I allowed my sister to take you away, to hide you until the right time came. It was the only way to protect you from Helena's wrath and ensure our lineage survived.
I am not a martyr, Isabella. I am a mother. My sacrifice was for you, but you... you are meant to live. To fight. To claim what is rightfully yours. You are the true heir of the Aether Crown and the Dragon Throne. My love, you will set fire to the rain and burn away the shadows of betrayal. Never doubt who you are. Never let them take your light.
YOU WILL SET FIRE TO RAIN.
The letter slipped from Isabella's hands and fluttered to the ground. Her knees buckled, and she collapsed into Aurora's arms.
"Isabella!" Aurora cried, shaking her. "Talk to me! What's happening?!"
Isabella's body was cold, her breaths shallow. Her eyes stared blankly at the chamber ceiling, sweat streaming down her face. Her eyes widen the tears flowing but not even blanking.
"It's... it's all a lie," Isabella whispered, her voice barely audible.
Aurora pulled her closer, tears streaming down her face. "What's a lie? Talk to me!"
"Jenna. My... my aunt." Isabella's words cracked under the weight of disbelief. "She knew. She knew everything. My destiny, my bloodline, my mother's sacrifice. And she never told me. She let me stumble in the dark while she watched me suffer."
Aurora's lips quivered. She tried to comfort Isabella, but her own heart ached for her sister. "Perhaps you are not in sence Isabella, why my mother would do this with you?"
"Why?" Isabella choked out, her voice rising with anger and she is not hearing what Aurora saying. "Why did she do this? Was it revenge? Hatred? Or was I just a pawn in some game I don't understand?!"
Her voice echoed in the chamber, raw and filled with agony. She clutched her chest as if trying to hold her heart together.
Aurora tightened her grip. "You're not alone, Isabella. Whatever happens, I'm here. Always."
Isabella's head jerked toward Aurora, her eyes blazing. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but her expression shifted into something cold and unrelenting.
"Don't cry for me, Aurora," she said, her voice steady and eerily calm. "It's their time to cry."
"What are you saying?" Aurora asked, frightened by the fire in Isabella's eyes.
Isabella stood, her legs shaky but determined. She wiped her tears and gripped Aurora's hand with a force that made her wince.
"I have business to settle with Aunt Jenna," Isabella said, her voice like a blade cutting through the silence.
Aurora tried to protest, but the look in Isabella's eyes silenced her. It wasn't grief anymore-it was fury, betrayal, and a dangerous resolve.
As the two left the chamber, the fire from the dragon murals seemed to burn brighter, casting long shadows on the walls. The letter lay forgotten on the floor, but its words lingered in the air.
Isabella whispered under her breath, so quietly that only she could hear it: "I will set fire to the rain."
The room was cold despite the crackling fire in the hearth. Isabella sat in the corner, her knees pulled to her chest, the letter trembling in her hand. The words burned into her mind like a brand, leaving her unable to think beyond the betrayal she felt.
"You will set fire to the rain."
Her mother's voice rang in her ears, not as a comfort but as a cruel reminder of the weight placed on her shoulders.
Aurora stood across from her, hesitant. "Isabella, you have to understand-"
"Understand what?" Isabella snapped, her voice trembling with fury. "That my entire life has been a lie? That my mother gave me away like some piece of property? Or that you knew and said nothing?"
Aurora flinched but didn't back away. "She did it to save you! Helena would have killed you if she knew the truth."
Isabella laughed bitterly, a sound devoid of joy. "And what truth is that? That I'm nothing more than a pawn in this sick game of power and betrayal? Tell me, Aurora. What am I fighting for?"
Before Aurora could answer, Jenna stepped forward. Her face was lined with pain, her lips pressed tightly together. "It's your legacy, Isabella. You may hate it now, but it's your destiny to uncover the truth. Only you can do this."
"Destiny?" Isabella's voice cracked. "What kind of destiny is this? To live in the shadow of lies and sacrifice? To bear the burden of everyone's mistakes?" She dropped to her knees, clutching her chest as if trying to hold herself together.
Jenna knelt beside her, reaching out to comfort her, but Isabella pulled away. "Don't touch me!" she screamed, her voice raw with pain but the 2 voice coming from her mouth one her and second is a dragon voice. "You knew. You knew, Jenna. You stood there and let my mother killed by your father, by your sisters hand..." Her words faltered, and she let out a choked sob.
Auroras eyes widen, she said "Isabella your voice..its not you Isabella."
"Yah.. it's not me the vulnerable kind girl. People like you and your mother betray me, you both are nothing just fake characer poeple." Isabella said. Her voice was sharpened through their heart but Aurora knows she is in pain, she is saying whatever she wants.
Jenna's own eyes filled with tears, but she held her ground. "I did it because I love you. Because I knew this day would come, and you'd need to be strong enough to face it."
Isabella looked up at her, her eyes blazing with fury. "Strong enough? Do I look strong to you?" She stood abruptly, shoving Jenna aside as she stormed toward the door.
"Isabella, wait!" Aurora called after her, but Jenna placed a hand on her arm, stopping her.
"Let her go," Jenna whispered. "She needs this. She's not running away, she's running toward the truth."
Outside, the storm raged. The winds howled, whipping through the trees with a deafening roar. Thunder cracked overhead, and lightning illuminated the dark sky. The rain came down in torrents, but it wasn't ordinary rain, it was laced with blood, staining the ground a deep crimson.
In the distance, the Blood Lake churned violently, its surface boiling as if alive. The reflection of the rising Blood Moon shimmered on the lake's surface, casting an eerie glow over the land. Humans emerged from their homes, their faces pale with terror as they ran aimlessly, seeking shelter from the unnatural storm.
Isabella climbed to the edge of the mountain overlooking Mecatopia. The wind tore at her hair and dress, but she didn't flinch. Her chest heaved with sobs as she clawed at her arms, leaving deep scratches that bled freely. They were healing instantly.
She fell to her knees, her screams echoing across the land. It wasn't just a cry of pain, it was a release of everything she had held inside for so long. Her anger, her grief, her betrayal. It poured out of her like a tidal wave, shaking the very foundation of Mecatopia.
The earth trembled beneath her. Trees fell like dominoes, their roots torn from the ground. Buildings cracked and crumbled as the ground shifted violently. Humans and supernaturals alike dropped to their knees, trembling as the raw power of Isabella's dragon souls surged through the land.
Her eyes burned with fire as she stood, the glow of the Blood Moon reflecting in her gaze. She opened her mouth and let out a roar, a sound so primal and terrifying that even the strongest supernaturals cowered in fear. The sound of pure dragon. Children start crying everyone get our from their homes and looking the bloodrain the Bloodmoon which comes automatically without it's time. Werewolves bones start breaking and other supernaturals blocking their ears cuz the voice is piercing, torning their ears.
The lake erupted, a massive wave of blood cascading over the edges and flooding the land below. The sky turned a sickly red, the moon's light growing brighter as if feeding off Isabella's fury.
She stood there on the edge, her arms outstretched as if daring the world to challenge her. Tears streamed down her face, mingling with the rain. She screamed again, her voice breaking the silence of the storm.
"Why?!" she cried, her voice cracking with anguish. "Why did you do this to me? Am I nothing but a pawn in your game?!"
The storm answered her with a deafening crack of thunder.
Far below, Jenna and Aurora watched from the safety of the house. Jenna's face was pale, her hands trembling as she clutched Aurora's arm.
"She's stronger than we ever imagined," Jenna whispered.
Aurora nodded, her eyes wide with fear and awe. "But can she survive this?"
Jenna didn't answer. She wasn't sure anyone could survive what Isabella was becoming.
As the storm raged on, Isabella stood tall, her eyes blazing with determination. She wasn't just a pawn in this game, she was the player. And she was done following the rules.
