Eris nodded and frowned after the initial stun of what happened, then started towards the broken door that led to her broken test.

Everyone else followed her until only I and Shard were left.

"I'll see you later Shard. Maybe..." I frown and follow the others, catching. A glance at Shard who turns and jumps outside, walking away.

We came so far, she was really willing to just up and leave after all that! Lloyd knows Shard was trying to get us to leave. I can tell it's really Shard. This isn't an impersonator...

But But If that's the case, then why?

Steering from those thoughts I looked up and ran to catch up with the rest of the group. Eris stuck her hand out in front of the rest of us.

"Something's wrong..." She says, hushing her voice quickly. She scowled and balled her fists.

"Scanners... They've set up facial recognition and traps in here. Probably throughout the house. Let's be honest, for those, powerless, it's go big or go home..."

"How can you tell?" Felicia whispers only to have Eris point to black boxes and lenses in the walls.

"Camera's..." Daniel gasps softly.

"So, how do we get passed?" I asked.

We all thought for a sec. "I could probably shrink under the camera gaze." Daniel says.

"...And I could shift into a mouse and go with him." Nikki adds.

"I could just turn invisible and walk through while Markus teleports across." I pipe in.

Markus gives me a look. "Can't you teleport?"

"I'm tired..." Was the simple answer I gave before disappearing from their eyesight.

Eris rolled her eyes as we set our current plan to action. Daniel, Nikki, and Markus got across just fine. Keith, Eris, Felicia and Lloyd were still on the other side, I was standing on a tile in the centre of the room. Lloyd sighed and sunk into the stone below him, surprising everyone, before scaring the trio on the other end of the room by simply walking up out of the floor.

"Felicia, can you fly around the camera's?" He says loud enough so she can hear. She nods and follows to the other side flawlessly.

I take yet another step only to have a beam of light nip my arm, causing my visible form to waver momentarily. I sustain my invisible form and silently flip off the camera's as I avoid the light activating tile. Once getting to the side with Nikki and the 4 others I swore lightly and collapsed to catch my breath.

I really hate those lights...

"Okay so how do Keith and I get there?" Eris says crossing her arms with a sideways frown. Markus does a quick test teleport to the duo before grabbing their arms and taking them to the rest of us.

"Not really rocket science, now is it." Daniel laughs as he cockily flings open the door to the next test room. My test.

Daniel waltzed into the room without thinking, then immediately regretted it, I'm sure. He was knocked back, suddenly being thrown between forces we couldn't see. He began stuttering nonsense before falling backwards and hitting the ground, hard. Then the waterworks started up. Not loud, but evident. Like a child.

"Daniel!" Felicia yelled running in before I could tell her not to.

This room hadn't changed a bit. Felicia immediately put on a look of surprise, before starting to laugh. Not meaningful, like a queen at a dinner. A posh, high class laugh, a snob if you will.

"Uh, yes dear mother. Yes I did receive the honor award for end of year. My teachers were pleased with me, that's what Fiona said. An A+ student for sure!" Felicia smiled and continued the conversation with the air.

Lloyd was about to walk in before I grabbed his arms a pulled him away. I turned him around and looked him dead in the eyes.

"I'll snap them out of it. But whatever you do don't enter. None of you!" I yell to the rest behind him. He simply tries to push passed me.

"But, I can see them! Can you not hear the people?" He asks, almost frightened. He can see into the room, like he's already inside.

"It's not real Lloyd." I say pushing him into Keith's arms. "Keep him there, don't let him leave your arms on any circumstance, trust me."

I then turn and with a deep breath I head into the dark room to free Felicia and Daniel from the spell. I opened my closed eyes once I stepped in, a different vision.

"Samantha! There you are, mom wanted you to come on the picnic with us!" I turned to be greeted by a girl with brunette pigtails and a lacy purple dress.

"Kara... I-I, I'm sorry. I can't right now. I need to get you out of here..." I whisper to illusion of my, old, dear friend. Slowly the surrounding greenery fades with my her. The cold stone room appears again with Felicia and Daniel both caught in its trap. I slowly take my chances as I step up to Daniel. He's shaking on the floor as I crouch to his level.

"Daniel?" I say to him as he shoves himself away from me swiftly screaming out.

"No more! I don't have any extra coin! I just need to get home!" He waits before saying something else that seems to rile him up. "I'm not a peasant. I'm a gypsy, you scoundrel... " I duck as he takes a swing at me.

"Daniel, it's Sam from the superhuman containment centre breakout. You're under an illusion. Wake up!" I say loudly . He takes a moment before coming to his senses and seeing reality.

"I- uh... what? But I was... They were-!" He sputtered. I cut him off.

"It happened when I was here last time. Just get out of here while I snap Felicia from her trance." I grumbled, already fed up with this place. He nods and runs to the door leading to what I assume to still be the rest level. With the wilderness and basically what didn't kill us last time we were here.

I take my steps towards Felicia carefully knowing what this place does to people. She continues to have a conversation with whoever this person within her mind is without noticing my presence. I intervene quickly grabbing her shoulder, which makes her jump. She screams;

"Guards!" As she shoves me off her and backs away. I roll my eyes at her confused face when these guards she's ordered to attack me probably didn't do anything.

"Who are you, a telikan I presume seeing as my guards are under your spell most likely?" She asks with a snarl. I step towards her and answer.

"My name is Samantha Ross, I'm a invisa-telethia hybrid from the containment centre. Felicia, you're under a spell and you need to wake up!"

She takes a moment before releasing her look rage into one of confusion.

"Sam? What's happening? Is Daniel alright!" I nod in answer to the second question and point to Daniel. She smiles and runs over to him, giving him a hug. I instruct her to stay with him while I transfer the others to them.

"Markus! Don't try to teleport, that'll take too much energy. Eris,Jayne, come here and try to snap yourselves out of the trance like I did!" I say to them, as I eye Keith who's struggling to keep Lloyd in place surprisingly. Markus nods as Eris and Jayne step into the room Jayne almost starts yelling, she looks completely enraged, but manages to mutter something before seeing reality.

Eris steps back before joining us once again.

"Nikki, do the same as them did if possible." I say getting ready to run if needed. He nods as he attempts to joining us. His pupils revert to cat like slits but he shakes whatever it was away and approached me. Now for the others.

"Markus, you come here first..." I ask him.

He looks unsure but does nervously walk into the room, immediately entranced as the others were.

"Uh, I thought it was Lucas's turn so I didn't actually study the prayers..." Markus says to the air before him, drifting off slightly.

"Yes I know, I was busy though! With what? I was, uh, helping Keith duel actually, Yeah!" He stuttered while backing away. Okay I'm intervening now.

I walk towards him grabbing his shoulder and shaking him slightly. He looks at me confusedly.

"Markus, we don't have time for this. You're in an illusion, this is Sam." He steps away before shaking his head and coming to reality. I then turn to the remaining Keith and restrained Lloyd. Lloyd is almost angry looking as he tugs away from Keith and rushes into the room. He stays silent looks down, gripping the pink pendant on his shawl as he sinks to his knees. Keith yells and runs in after him, being taken by the illusion very quickly before something surprising happens with both of them.

Keith, who had fallen, stands and swiftly takes out his blade jabbing at the air in front of him as I see the watery look in his eyes fade with the illusion. He stands and glares at the surrounding walls, then looks at Lloyd. Lloyd, though he had very evident tears on his pale face, looks up with a scowl and wipes the water away. The illusion disappears from him as well. He holds his pendant and mumbles something quickly before walking to Keith. Keith just nods to Lloyd, then the two join the rest of us.
