Supper, aka spaghetti and meat sauce was amazing. Why must these people be such good cooks?

"Hey,Sam?" I sidetrack from my throughs to answer

"Uh, yeah Eris?"

"May I talk to you after supper?"

I agree to her, she nods and goes back to eating. What's so important?

Finishing up quickly, I take note that Lloyd had looked like he was gonna actually eat at the table with us! Unfortunately, I could see his fear and he back out. Taking his food back to his room, what a shame.

"So, what going on Eris?" I ask to her nervous face as we bounded the corner of the stairs. Her lips twisted into a slight frown.

"I truly love it here. The new superhumans have been fun but we need to get back to our main mission. I'll do it myself if no one will help, remember betrayal was my choice last time. I don't want to take it to that extreme but you know me well enough by now."

It was my turn to frown. Surely she didn't actually mean that. Did she? would she take it to that severe of an event, again?

"I'll help. I plan on having the new group help as well. I'll talk to Marcus later. Now, you should inform our group, with less blackmail entwined in your words."

She chuckles lightly as do I.

We bid each other goodbye as we part ways. Her to our room, myself to Marcus. But first i'd like to check on Lloyd, he's starting to break from his shell but he need a bit more human-superhuman- interactions.

I hesitantly knocked on his door earning the sound of objects crashing into into one another and a small yelp that I can only assume to be Lloyd.

"Are you alright Lloyd?"

Shuffling, then the door opens revealing a clean room except for a couple of items and a broken vase.

"Uh,yeah. I'm fine. Why are you here, shouldn't you be wit- Nevermind. State your reasoning please."

Giving him an odd glance i step in and close the door.

"Thought you might want to talk. You barely come out so I thought i'd come in." I reply giggling, he laughs slightly as well.

"Yeah well, you know how I like my alone time. Quiet, and peaceful!" He says cheerfully, he's opening up already!

"i guess my bombarding knocking ruined that 'silence' didn't it." I chuckled softly.

Then the wild Lloyd retreated back into its bed! No really, he sat on his bed. Didnt laugh or smile like minutes ago. Just froze and moved backwards till he fell. Great going Sam! (Note the sarcasm...)

"Hey, sorry. Did I say something?"

"Uh, no! Not at all! In fact, I uh, I think I hear Marcus calling for you!"

Hiding my 'are you actually gonna play that card?' face I gave a wave and slipped back out into the hallway, leaving him to himself once more.

I knew Marcus hadn't actually been calling, but I may as well had humored him and left rather than put him on the spot.

Speaking of Marcus, I should meet him. the others seem to already be in bed.

Standing, I wait. Silence. Yeah they're are definitely asleep.

"Hey! what took you so long?"

Marcus, standing on the balcony like he had done just like the night before.

"Was chatting with Lloyd and Eris. Speaking of which..."

My sentence trailed off as i tried to spot out the correct terms for my wording.

Luckily Marcus questioned me first.

"Your being unusually 'mumbley', Sam. Everything alright?"

"Great grammar, and yes. Most is fine. But Eris brought something to my attention that i should have discussed the second I woke up."

I paused again, then continued.

"It's been wonderful here with your half of the 'new' formed team. But my half had been on a mission that we plan on continuing to pursue. Eris will attempt to do it herself if no one helps. I know first hand what she's capable of, and what feats she'll go through to complete her goal."

He gave me an odd look, as if he didn't know what i'm talking about. Honestly he doesn't.

"What i'm saying is, my group has a goal and now that we're are a conjoint team i'm asking you and your group to help us on our mission."

There, I said it. But what will he say? I'm about to find out.

"I- I'd love to. But we have a goal as well. We want to find the laboratory holding our friends and family captive. we want to free them and finally live in harmony with the normal humans."

My face splits into a smile, same motives.

"Good. maybe we can work together after all."

He looked at me again.I continued.

"My friends and I are headed back to the main containment centre to free our own families. The laboratory, if i am correct, is located near the centre if not part of it. We can be a full team, we can free our people and bring peace. This is great!"

"Perfect! I'll talk with the others. Announcement at breakfast tomorrow?"
