"Tia! Just the girl I was looking for!" Mr. Mackin waved to me. He always seemed to wear the same outfit-one white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and khaki pants.

"Oh, hey Mr. Mackin." I was surprised he said something to me, since normally he doesn't say anything to anyone-he just teaches and goes on his computer until you come up to him.

"I got a call from my brother earlier, you know, Oliver. He moved to a different planet? No? Okay, well, he said he was sending down someone named Jonah, and I was thinking that maybe you could help him start his life here." He motioned to the slightly to the sky.

"Uh, sure, I guess." I didn't want to do it, but what other choice do I have? I can't say no to a teacher.

"Really? Great! Thanks, Tia!" He turned on his heel in the direction of his car.

I've never heard of someone being shipped off from another planet before, maybe a foreign exchange student from a different country, but never from a different planet. There's only one other planet he could come from; planet Icarus.
