The Incredible Transporting Goku
Later that night, I came back home to Goku's house and we had dinner. It was normal to have dinner as a family around the table. Goku and Goten would normally have several stacks of plates and I would not eat as much as my brother. Tonight, Goku wasn't eating as much as he normally did.
"Are you okay, Dad?" Goten asked as he finished his plate.
Goku sighed. "I just don't feel hungry..."
"Goku? Are you okay? Are you sick?! Are you dying?! Please tell me you aren't dying!" Chi-Chi started to panic at the dinner table.
"It doesn't feel like I'm dying. I definitely know what dying feels like. I've died twice."
"Goku! Please don't talk about that..." I said as I looked at Goku, giving him a 'you really shouldn't have said that' kind of glare.
Goku finally thought with his head after he saw my glare. "Oh" was all he said. Chi-Chi gave Goku a stare down look and was not liking that he mentioned his deaths.
After that awkward dinner conversation, I started thinking about how strange Goku was acting. Maybe I was overthinking all of this? Goku just wasn't as hungry as normal. That is sometimes normal... right?
The next day, I went with Goku to help him with Chi-Chi's grocery list. We split up the list by different stores and different places in town.
"Sis? I forgot something on my list. I'm going to head back." Then Goku just went. What was with him?
When Goku finally returned about a half an hour later, Goku had a big knot on his head. He must have fell... which is odd. He fell? He used to be a klutz when he was kid but he is not that way now. What was going on?
Chi-Chi handed Goku an ice pack. "Well, normal doctors aren't going to be helpful... I guess he should go see King Kai? He might have a better idea."
"Great idea, Chi-Chi!" I said walking closer to Goku. "I can try taking him there."
"Nah, I got this, Akari!" and Goku teleported, taking me with him.
We teleported into a dark room and on top of a bed. I looked around and I knew right away where this was. This was Bulma and Vegeta's house... I quickly teleported away and I forgot Goku. Uh oh!
Before I knew it, Goku was being yelled at by Bulma. I looked in the window. Bulma was standing there in a towel and yelling at him. Vegeta rushes in and yells and Goku. Bulma pushed a button and hundreds of laser guns pointing at Goku. He quickly transported away.
Great... I lost him... Where did he go now?
I did the only logical thing and tried to sense his energy. I found it near the police station, then somewhere in the city, then at the tower... Jeez, there is definitely something wrong with him.
I quickly teleported to the tower. "Goku! You should have me come with you since I'm not sick like you are."
"Yeah... I'm sorry, Akari... I should have listened to you." Goku said, rubbing the back of his head and giving me his cheesy smile.
"I'll take you. You don't need to pop up in someone else's bedroom." I snickered and Goku nervously laughed. I took Goku to King Kai to be examined.
I arrived with my brother in tact. He didn't magically go into any odd spots in the universe. I was a better travelling source than my brother right now.
"Hey, King Kai, long time no see!" I greeted him and he smiled brightly towards me.
"Hello, Akari, anything I can help you with?" then he saw my brother who smiled his nervous smile right behind me.
"Oh..." King Kai let out a sigh. "So, what's with him now? He certainly hasn't been coming here to train."
"Well... you see... Goku is right now is having an odd thing. He is sick with something I think. I'm not super sure but I definitely think it is something weird."
King Kai sat Goku down and examined him like a doctor would. Goku of course hated doctors, especially needles, so... I think it was the best decision to take Goku to King Kai. A little while after King Kai looked over Goku, he finally came to his conclusion.
"I knew it. He has Delayed Onset Ki Disorder."
"Delayed what?" Goku asked.
"Delayed Onset Ki Disorder. Your senses are thrown out of wack. Probably from going Super Saiyan Blue Kaio Ken, trying to heighten your senses to beat Hit in that tournament. In simpler terms, you are reckless with your ki." King Kai explained.
"So... what does that mean?" Goku asked.
"I suggest you stop training-"
"STOP TRAINING?! I can't do that! Training and getting stronger is my life!"
"I didn't say you had to stop training forever, dum dum. I just mean you can stop training until you are balanced again."
"How long is that going to take?!"
"I don't know, but in time you should be fine."
"What if it takes forever?!" Goku whined.
"Goku, just take it easy. You should take a break and relax for once in your life. The whole world isn't on your shoulders as of right now so you should take this time of peace and relax." I said, trying to calm my training crazed brother.
"I guess you are right there, sis..."
"Of course I am. Sisters know best for their brothers." I said with a smirk.
"Maybe you should take this extra time you have and visit your granddaughter. She may love to see her Grandpa Goku." King Kai suggested and I smiled. Goku nodded and stood back up.
"Well that sounds like what I should do. I haven't seen Pan in awhile."
"There you go, and now you can go see her." King Kai said, very glad that we finally calmed Goku.
Goku stretched and cracked his neck.
"Beat you back home, sis!" Goku said as he just transported away.
I rolled by eyes and shook my head... He really just did that? After what King Kai told him?
"Keep him out of trouble, Akari." King Kai said, chuckling to himself.
"That's what I've always done since we were kids. Of course I will try to keep him out of trouble." I said, smirking and then heading back home myself.
The house looked different... It had a Goku's legs sticking out of the roof...
I went inside and Goku was hanging from the ceiling and Goten was watching him get yelled at by Chi-Chi. I pulled my brother out of the hole in the roof and Goku kept getting an ear full from Chi-Chi. Some thing she said I didn't dare to repeat.
After that night, Goku did spend time with Pan and her babysitter Piccolo. The next day, they even talked on the roof together, gazing at the stars. I loved watching the stars with them. It was nice and peaceful. It was even a treat that Pan was there with us. She smiled and called Goku "Papa" but he corrected her and said to call him "Gramps".
Author's Note:
Hey everyone,
Sorry this took so long to publish. I have been so busy with college and things. I also have been trying to make sure I do stay faithful to the storyline somewhat in DB Super. Thanks to Toonami, I missed tons of episodes of Super and it really annoyed me that I missed almost the entire Copy-Vegeta Saga. Which is the saga we are in currently in this book. I hope to honestly write more in the future since this is one of my many hobbies. Relaxation is key as a college student.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and thank you for those who haven't given up on this story!
