I waited until I felt energy from Vegeta or even Goten and Trunks if they could give me enough energy. I stayed in Bulma's lawn and closed my eyes. I tried to sense for someone's energy. Vegeta had to be there... I needed to sense at least some energy from Vegeta. I'm really not sure if Goten or Trunks could possibly make a big enough beacon for me to lock onto.

I was hoping either Vegeta could power up and then I could sense that or I could possibly sense the fact there are three Saiyan auras I knew in one area that I could lock onto with my guardian abilities.

I sat there, hoping Vegeta or someone would give me a sign.

Then the faint sense of three Saiyan auras was in my head. I could recognize them and I knew it had to be those three.

I locked onto it and instant transmissioned there. I saw several guys all down and Vegeta heading towards another guy. Jaco was standing there watching Vegeta and I ran next to the boys.

I knelt down. "Are you two ok?! Did you get hurt?"

Trunks looked back at me and he smiled, happy to see me.

"Goten and I are okay." Trunks said. He then payed attention to what his dad was doing. I looked on as I watched Vegeta go over the that mysterious guy.

Suddenly, Vegeta was surrounded by a purple goo!

I could feel his power draining right before my very eyes. Then the goo spit him back out...

I ran up to Vegeta to check on him. Vegeta looked up, shocked as the purple goo formed into a purple Vegeta. I looked in awe as I saw this new Vegeta appear in front of us.

This goo Vegeta looked at me then at Vegeta, smiling.

"Wh-what are you?" Vegeta said, still in shock.

"Well, I'm a copy of you. You are just a mere shell. I took everything from you." The purple Vegeta said as he looked down at Vegeta who tried to use Galick Gun on this copy.

There was no blast. It was as if Vegeta never knew the move at all. Like if he was just playing around on a playground as a child playing make-believe. Nothing was there.

Purple Vegeta smirked, "I took all of your abilities too. You are just a shell. No power, no abilities."

I was shocked that this goo turned Vegeta into a defenseless being. How could he do that?!

The mysterious guy told the goo Vegeta to absorb the rest of us, staring with Trunks! This copy of Vegeta however, hesitated, then proceeded to absorb Trunks. Thankfully Jaco was able to neutralize the goo and Trunks did not get absorbed. Vegeta then told Trunks and Goten to fly somewhere safe.

The boys took Monaka and another dude with them to safety. I stayed with Vegeta and figured I had to get him out of here as well since he has no Ki left in his system.

I had Vegeta hold onto me as I took him with me to flee with the boys.

I set Vegeta down when we got to a safe area with the boys, Monaka and the other dude named Potage.

Vegeta was still as shocked as I was that there was now a copy Vegeta that can use all of his abilities. Potage then told us all about Superhuman Water. Jaco, who found us after we fled, was really surprised.

Jaco then starts to explain.

"Superhuman Water is a miracle water that can increase the drinker's strength by a thousand-fold."

Then Potage corrects him, saying, " The miracle water does not exist. The name "Superhuman Water" was created by people from other planets who had the wrong idea."

Then Potage explained the origin of Commeson, the real name of the weapon, and its abilities.
If Commeson was not contained, it would have not only destroyed Planet Potaufeu, but the entire universe. At the expense of the lives of the inhabitants, Commeson was sealed.

"I was the only survivor and I have been protecting that seal for a hundred years." Potage said as he stands proudly.

Potage then explains how Gryll (the bad dude telling the goo Vegeta what to do), broke the seal and he was consumed by the goo and so had his henchmen.

"So if that thing is a copy, why did it flinch when he was about to absorb Trunks?" Vegeta asked Potage.

"Commeson can copy the spirit of its victims."

"Then what happens to me?"

"They die... you will disappear within 3 to 5 minutes..." Potage said and I felt a sharp pain in my chest. Vegeta is going to die?! I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't let Vegeta die. What kind of guardian am I if I couldn't protect Vegeta... or any Saiyans...

Jaco panicked, he was freaking out because he knew Bulma would freak out if Vegeta didn't come back home alive. I panicked a little too, on the inside. I couldn't let Vegeta disappear. What if we couldn't bring him back because there was no body to actually return to?

Whatever it takes, I had to make sure Vegeta didn't disappear. I would never forgive myself...

Potage explained that the only way for Vegeta to live was the copy needed to be destroyed.

We then were visited by the Copy Vegeta and Copy Gryll.

Goten and Trunks fuzed and started fighting Copy Vegeta to try to defeat him. I stayed with Vegeta as Gotenks fought the copy. I held Vegeta's hand.

I didn't want to say good bye... not like this. Vegeta held my hand, lacing my fingers with his.

"No matter what it takes. I will make sure you come home safe to Bulma." I said to him.

He looked at me, that same look he gave me back when we were together. "Katarina, if anything happens to me... Please watch over Bulma and Trunks. And don't blame yourself for this either... I know how you are."

I looked back at him, tears forming in my eyes. "I will make sure you don't disappear."

Then I gave him a kiss on the cheek. He smiled then he started fading.

I looked at Vegeta and started to panic. Vegeta was disappearing right before my eyes!

I looked up and saw Gotenks and the copy Vegeta.

"Fade away faster you stupid shell!" The copy yelled down and I got mad. He was no shell. He is the prince of all Saiyans. No shell, an arrogant, secretly soft hearted Saiyan who loves his family and would do anything for them.

Gotenks then got kicked and was sent flying.

I flew up to the copy.

"You are not Vegeta, you will never be Vegeta, and I'm going to end your gooey ass right here and now." I said as I went full on Super Saiyan Guardian.

"Let's see what you are really made of." I said as I threw the first punch and hit his face but then he turned and looked at me. He seemed to flinch a little. He looked at me.

"Katarina, you are not going to win. You know I am way stronger than you. There is no possible way you will defeat me. You have stagnated in your power for months now. Can you even call yourself a guardian?" Said the Copy of Vegeta that sounded a lot like Vegeta.

My eyes started to burn with tears in my eyes. Hearing those words that sounded like Vegeta really broke my heart. I felt like he shattered it into pieces.

Even though my heart ached now, I had to make sure my Vegeta lived and this one was destroyed.

I battled the copy, trying to figure out how to edge out this copy. It felt so familiar to me. This copy fought like Vegeta.

His timing was just like Vegeta's, the certain ticks he had were there, even his fighting grace was there. It really weirded me out. I've trained with Vegeta so much over the years, I knew every little thing about Vegeta and this copy was spot on. Except this copy didn't have that heart and pride Vegeta always had.

This copy felt lifeless. Like a machine that didn't care and just only focused on the task at hand.

Though he seemed lifeless most of the time in our duel, there was moments where I saw him flinch and hesitating, as if he didn't want to hurt me...

I punched him and kicked him and tried to use every bit if strength to defeat this copy but nothing worked. He then sent me flying down, now I was there with Goten and Trunks who were exhausted from battle.

"Tsk tsk tsk. The guardian couldn't protect her Saiyans." The copy looked at me. Then he looked at the boys.

"You did quite well, Trunks. You have a strong spirit." And he went to both of the boys, his eyes like daggers, plotting to kill Goten and Trunks.

I had to save them. At all costs.

As I flung myself in front of Trunks and Goten, I heard my brother overhead who took Vegeta away from Trunks, Goten and I.

"Vegeta? What are you doing? Why are you fighting with the boys and Akari?"
