Sunsets POV

Twilight gave me some food and a place to sleep but I had nightmares of the previous day and I woke up to a soft but firm hold on the nape of my neck by a werewolf I did not know and the thick scent of blood in the air with hints of lavender and peppermint I realized I bit Twilight I went limp the grasp of the unfamiliar werewolf I heard Twilight speaking to the new person "Applejack can you watch Sunset for a bit? I need to wash this bite off." This girl Applejack, Twilight said her name was, smelled of apples with smokey undertones to it. She let me go, and walked to the edge of the bed and spoke "Are you okay?" she said her voice having a soft southern drawl to it.

I hesitate for a moment before saying "I never meant Twilight harm I had a nightmare then I wake up realizing I bit her after she let me into her home." My thoughts started to spiral and I curled into myself until Applejack looked at me with a look that was either pity or sadness "I know but with Twilight's line of work she sees a lot of people like you who have nearly died but survived and have nasty nightmares about what happened she doesn't expect you to be any less different from that." She says as she put her hand on my shoulder. "How do you know Twilight?" I asked. She took a deep breath "She helped me when no one wanted to, I'm Trans male to Female and she helped me find a surgeon who could help me transition." I knew that she was familiar but she was once called Brightapple instead of Applejack and the new name suited her perfectly. "I like your new name much better than Brightapple." I said as I looked at her.
