I nodded and held the guitar carefully. Sunset then sang...

Sunset smiled and said, "These are well written lyrics babe. I didn't know you were a lyricist." I smirked and said, "Me neither. Guess it's a hidden talent." Sunset giggled and said, "Aw you..." She cuddled up to me and kissed me. Fluttershy then walked in and said, "Sunset? Raphael? Can I please speak to you?" She seemed more nervous than usual. "Sure, what's up?" I asked. Fluttershy moved further to us, sat down, facing us, criss-cross applesauce. "You promise not to tell anyone yet?" Fluttershy nervously asked. "We won't Fluttershy," promised Sunset, "your secret's safe with us." Fluttershy sighed in relief.

"Alright," she said, "guys... I'm gay!" She closed her eyes, afraid. "Wait, gay as in, you're attracted to women?" I asked, just to be sure Fluttershy was talking about homosexuality, and not being jovial. That's right, I know the difference. Fluttershy opened one eye and sighed, "Yes... You must hate me now..." Sunset scooted forward and said, "Oh Fluttershy, Raph and I don't hate you. You're still our friend, and we won't judge you because of your sexuality." I nodded and said, "Yeah. We're not going to let this ruin our bond. If being gay is who you are, that's alright with us." Fluttershy smiled and hugged us.

"Several questions," I said, "How long did you realize you were gay? And why not come out to your family?" Fluttershy nervously chuckled and said, "Well, I guess I realized my sexuality once high school started... And the reason I came out to you two is because I can trust Sunset, and Raph... You're like a big brother to me." I smiled, flattered. "Happy ya see me that way," I said, "still, if you want us to come over to your house to help you come out to your family, we will." Sunset smiled and said, "Yeah. Think of us as your emotional support. One more question... Is there a certain girl you like?"

Fluttershy giggled and said, "Actually yeah... I'm in love with Rainbow Dash... She doesn't know though..." I think Dash might've said she was bi. I've seen Fluttershy sit close to her. "Do you feel safe and secure with her?" I asked. "Yeah..." she said, "do you have any advice?"

"Just be honest with her," said Sunset, "tell her why you love her, and be yourself." Fluttershy smiled and said, "Thanks guys. Oh, we're forming a band. You're welcome to join, if you want to, that is..." Sunset smiled and said, "Thanks Fluttershy. We appreciate that." The bell rang, and that was our cue to get back in.
