3rd POV
In the city of Vale where people walked around with their monsters known as buddy monster those who have buddy monsters are know as buddy fighters they battle together throw out buddy fights where they can owe their skills and become the best of the world but for a certain boy becoming the best is his dream for his name is Van mikado.

Van: Man why is it so boring being in Atlas buy not here in Vale? It's so much better and everyone is having fun buddy fights.

???: Oh cheer up Van, we're moving here and besides you'll beat everyone here.

Van: Yeah your right drum but I don't know about beating everyone at beacon you don't know there might be someone who could do so.

Drum: sure what ever kid

As the two walked around Vale enjoying the food and all of the buddy fights

Van: Man I can feel all of the energy of the fights.

Drum: Yeah but we should probably go back home before it gets to late.

Van: Yeah your right.

As they were about to walked away van saw a group of boys surrounding a girl with fox ears and walked over to them.

Boy 1: Look what we have found.

Fox girl: Please leave me alone.

Boy 2: Oh look it can talk.

Fox girl: Please stop.

Boy 3: Oh are you going to cry?

Fox girl: *starts cry*

Boy 4: She's actually crying.

As van and drum watched this they both decided to go over to them while van tapped the shoulder of one of the boys.

Boy 1: Huh?

Van: Excuse me but why are you picking on this defenseless girl?

Boy 2: It's because she's a freak.

Van: Oh is that so?

Boy 3: Yeah it is.

Van: Well then.

Van grabbed the first boy and flow him behind his back as the other three got ready to attack him while he just dodges their attack making them lose their stamina as the fox girl and drum watches them.

Fox girl: Wow.

Drum: Yeah he uses defense for offense which in return worse down your opponent.

As all four boys were panting from being exhausted while Van was standing in front of them.

Van: So are you ok fox girl?

Fox girl: Yes thanks to you.

Van: No problem it's all in the days work for the mighty sun fighter.

Fox girl: The might sun fighter?

Van: Yup anyways be safe going back home.

Fox girl: Thanks and you two.

As van and drum we're walking back to their house a blond hair girl walked up to the fox girl.

Blond girl: There you are Ruby.

Ruby: Huh?

Blond girl: I've been looking for you everywhere.

Ruby: Sorry Yang I went to buy some buddy packs.

Yang: Ok just don't try to get the attention of those who don't like you ok.

Ruby: Well it was kinda too late for that.

Yang: *angry* What did they do to you?! Did they pull on your ears?! Made fun of you?!

Ruby: Calm down sis they didn't do anything like.

Yang: Ok but seriously what did they do to you?

Ruby: Nothing really since a boy came and helped me.

Yang: Did you get his name?

Ruby: No but he called himself the mighty sun fighter.

Yang: The might sun fighter?

Ruby: Yeah but we should get back to beacon before our team gets worried about us.

Yang: Yeah your right.

As the two walked back to beacon while van and drum had made it back to their new home.

Van: Hey we're back from our walk.

Drum: I hope there's some pudding in the fridge.

As the two walk around their house seeing Van's mother opening some boxes.

Van: Oh hey mom.

Paruko: Hey van, drum.

Drum: Hey miss. Mikado.

Paruko: Do you two need anything?

Drum: Yeah some pudding.

Van: Just wanted to see what you were doing mom.

Paruko: Ok and there's some in the fridge drum oh and van.

Drum: Thanks *walks over to the kitchen*

Van: Yeah mom?

Paruko: Are your things ready for tomorrow?

Van: Yeah all of my stuff is ready.

Paruko: That's good.

Van: Yup I'll be in my room working on my decks.

Paruko: Ok don't stay up too late.

Van: Hehe, I won't.

As van walked up to his room while a certain card was glowing inside of his dragon world deck.

{Time skip}

Van POV:

I woke up like any other day while seeing drum sleeping on the floor next to my bed while I smile and got up from my bed.

Van: Well I might as well and take a shower.

I walked over to the bathroom and turned on the water as I enjoy but all of the sudden I heard a voice in my head.

Voice: For you are the new holder of the punisher blade but allow me to see if you are wordy of wealiding my blade.

And at the same time I saw myself surrounded by darkness not even a single spark of light it was just pure darkness.

Van: What's going on?

As I blink I saw myself back in the shower then I got out and dry myself off.

Van: That was so weird.

As I walked back to my room I saw drum awake as he puts his armor back on.

Drum: Hey kid.

Van: Hey drum are you ready for today?

Drum: Yeah I am.

Me and drum walked down to the kitchen while hearing my little sister snowbell was playing with her food.

Van: Morning.

Drum: Morning.

Snowball: Morning big brother.

Paruko: Morning van and you two drum.

Me and drum started to eat our breakfast but I still was thinking about what I heard in the morning but luckily no one notice.

Paruko: So are you two ready to head out to beacon?

Van: Yup

Drum: Yes

Paruko: Ok go and get your stuff we'll meet you both in the car.

Van: Ok.

Me and drum went up to my room to grab my bags along with my decks that my father gave me before he disappeared.

Drum: So how do you feel kid?

Van: I feel great I'm just hoping that one can make some amazing friends.

Drum: That's good to hear.

We both walked downstairs and then headed outside as we both got in the card while my mother drove us to the bulkhead.

{Time skip/POV change}

Ruby POV:

Me and my team were in professor Port's class waiting for him to tell us about one of his stories but me and yang would have a buddy fight while he does but for some reason he hasn't started class which was weird even for him.

Port: If your all wondering why I haven't started class well it's because we're having a transfer student.

I could see all of the students chatting among themselves while my ears we're twitching underneath my hoodie as I wonder what the new student would look like and what world they would use.

Port: *turns to the door* You can come in now.

As the doors open I was shocked from seeing the new student.

Van: Hi the names Van mikado and I'm the mighty sun fighter.
