I was doubled over, choking on my laughter. "Oh- my- god-"


"I- know-" Jack gasped, in a similar situation beside me.


It's not what you think. We were watching Bunny on the screens, making him shiver in his Warren, then heating him up drastically once he got to the Pole. It was hi-lar-i-ous. You should have seen him, swearing in 'Australian' and muttering under his breath.


"Hey, where's Frostbite? Late again?" Bunny snickered and he got another few degrees of heat added, his fur making him hotter than anyone else would be.


"Nobody makes fun of Jack. Except me." I glared at him and crossed my legs, leaning back on my very own captain seat. Then what Bunny said sunk in. "Aww, do you have to leave?"


"Sorry babe."


"Don't call me that."


"Sorry June, but yeah. You can come too if you want."


"Definitely. I want to see their reactions." I smirked and stood, offering Jack a hand. He took it and stood. "Stand back, imma change."


"Huh?"


I sighed. "Just stand back." He complied, and I took a few steps away from anything important and hovered above the floor. I snapped, and I changed, erupting into flames and my clothes burnt and reformed into baggy jeans, sneakers, and a massive hoodie that my newly discovered 'figure' was swamped in, successfully hiding my femininity. My hair was still longer than normal, but I could pass for a boy in a pinch. I smeared ash on my face and hands and flipped up my hood. "All set. Lets go."


"Sure. You cool?"


"You warm?" I only half-joked. If he wasn't trying to hold back with the cold, we would both get hurt.


"Uh, sure. You ready?"


"I was reborn ready. Well, not really, but yeah, let's go."


We kissed one last time, then jumped hundreds of feet high, creating a shooting star as we held hands and sped through the heavens, down to Earth.
