Okay so yes this is a Christmas special, however it is still apart of the story, (thus the chapter 10 part up the top.) so please don't think 'oh, it's just a Christmas special I'll skip over this cause it will be something stupid.' NO! You must still read, or the next chapter will not make any sense at all, anyway on with the story, just making sure you read.😊

~Kristina's POV~

"Hey Ed, know what today is?" I asked Ed as he sat up off the ground.

"Christmas isn't it?" He asked.

"YES! How did you not know for sure what say it was?"

"Well I haven't really celebrated Christmas since mum died, I mean it hasn't been at the top of our priority list, and then getting Al's body so again Christmas was not anywhere close to the top of the priority list." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Well you need a break, and I think that a Christmas celebration is the perfect thing." I smiled at him.

"A Christmas celebration? But I doubt a lot of people will come."

"Well how about we set it up and then ask everyone? I'm sure Al would love it." I smiled thinking about how much of a surprise this is going to be, I though back to my conversation with everyone else earlier.

"Hey guys don't you think it would be great if we could have a Christmas party?" I asked.

"Yeah that would be awesome, but I don't know if nii-San would agree." Al says sadly.

"Who said he had to find out." I smile.

"Sometimes I swear you look nicer than you are." Riza says smiling.

I just shrug my shoulders, "I may look innocent but in reality not so much. Anyway who's in for surprising Ed?"

"I'm in." Everybody says.

"Well then what's the plan?"

"Well it seems like your the only one that he will listen to, besides Al but he would be handy for setting up decorations so I guess you could keep him distracted until about 7 and then see if he will come." Roy suggested.

"But what could I say that will actually make him come?"

"If you tell him that he's helping you set it up for the rest of us he might listen, but if not I guess you could threaten to make him drink milk if he doesn't come." Al said while laughing, and it made us all laugh.

"Do you really think that simply saying that it's for everyone else that he will listen?" I asked.

"He only thinks about everyone else, so if you make it sound like he's doing it to make everyone else feel better he will do it without a second thought."

"Well you are his brother so I'll trust you, but what should I make him do in the mean time?"

"Keep him distracted I guess." Roy smirked at me, and I could swear I heard him wink. I turned crimson.

"Please keep your filthy thoughts to yourself." I said as everyone but Al was laughing.

"What are you talking about, I mean you are going to keep him distracted so he was just stating the truth." Al said, and everyone was holding onto their knees laughing but I just fell onto the floor.

"Al you are just too innocent for your own good, so don't even worry." I said to him. He just shrugged his shoulders as everyone else got control over their breathing. "You guys are sick, ya know that?" I glared at everyone.

"Were just saying that you need to find a way to distract him, you came up with the accusation yourself." Roy smirked at me.

"Oh right and none of you meant it that way, how naive do you think I am? . . . Actually don't answer that." I lowered my head and everyone but Al started laughing.

"I still don't get it." He said looking at the floor.

"Well I go and spar with Ed or something, so do I bring him here at 7?"

"Well we should hopefully be done by then." Roy said.

"Hey Kristy, are you okay?" Ed asked me, and realised I was on the ground.

"Yeah, just a little exhausted from fighting with you, your getting better at holding your ground." I smiled up at him.

"Well I've had a lot of practice fighting with you." He smiled smugly.

I just sighed before putting my hand on the ground, I heard him laying on the ground in complete pain. "Where did I hit you?" I asked trying not to laugh cause I had a good idea.

"Right where the sun don't shine, why did you do that?" He asked and I assumed he was still clutching himself.

"I-I'm s-s-so sorry, I-I didn't mean to." I said between laughs.

"You are so cruel." He said while standing up.

"Well let's go and set this Christmas party up, I'm sure Al would love it, I mean didn't he love Christmas when he was a kid?" I asked as we walked towards Central.

"Yeah, where are we going to set it up?" Ed asked me.

"I guess the arena would be a large enough area." I said.

"But there's no cover." He shot back.

"Were alchemists, I think we can make cover." I smiled at him.

"True . . . Hey, look at that." Ed said.

"Genius, what can you see?" I replied to him slightly angry, I mean come on he has known me for at least 2 weeks now and he still couldn't remember that I was blind.

"Right sorry, but the arena is already covered and there's a heap of lights everywhere. I think someone beat us to it." He said sadly.

"Well come on, let's check it out." I said while grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the arena. We finally got to the door. "Hey Ed how about you open it and have a look." I said while trying to hid my laugh.

"Sure" he said while opening the door, suddenly we heard everyone scream suprise. "What? But I thought we were going to surprise them?" He turned towards me, "Kristy!" He screamed and started chasing me.

"What are you doing?" I screamed while running around, hearing everyone else laugh at Ed's reaction.

"This was your doing wasn't it?" He asked me, trying to keep his voice angry but I could he the smile, and happiness.

"Maybe." I said.

"See."

"Hey everyone else agreed, and it was made my job to keep you distracted." I stopped running to face him.

He stopped as well, "but you said this was supposed to make Al happy."

"Yeah, well Al wanted to make you happy, and this was the only way to make you both happy." I shrugged my shoulders.

Roy cleared his throat, "I believe that you two have something to do."

"What is he talking about?" I asked Ed.

"Look up." Roy replied.

"Umm, were standing under mistletoe." He said nervously. I could hear everyone laugh. And I felt a blush come over my face.

"D-do w-we have to? I mean it's just a stupid plant." Ed said.

"Yeah, and you guys probably planned this." I said pointing to where I assumed Roy was.

"Why are you pointing at me?" Havoc said, "I didn't set up any of the decorations, I only just came in."

"Sorry, I though you were Roy." I said sadly.

"How the hell did you think I was Roy?" Havoc asked.

"Because I'm bli-" but before I could finish I felt something on my lips, and from all the hoots and cheers I could only guess that Ed was kissing me.

"W-what w-was that f-for? I though you didn't want to?" I said to Ed.

"You need to relax sometimes." He said.

"I can't relax." I said sadly.

"What do you mean, your trying to get everyone to relax all the time, why don't you do it yourself once in a while?"

"Because, as soon as I relax, I can't see." I said sadly.

"What do you mean?"

"As soon as I relax I can't hear everything around me, so I am truly blind." I realised that we were both whispering by now and everyone else was going off enjoying themselves.

"Well if you stick around me then I'll make sure you don't run into anything, okay?"

"Fine, I'll try." I sighed, and as I did I could feel all the objects around me fade, I couldn't tell where they were anymore. I grabbed onto his hand in fear that I would run into something and he lead me around the area.

"Well what are you two doing?" I heard someone ask us.

"Who are you?" I asked the person.

"Come on, you usually recognise me straight away, well except for today." He said.

"She's relaxing havoc, so she won't be able to see, or in her case hear." Ed said for me.

"Come on Ed this is stupid, I feel so useless." I said, while throwing my hands in the air, and sitting on the floor.

"No, you need to relax once in a while." He said sternly.

"Yes but me relaxing is making you work harder."

"I don't care."

"Well neither do I." I said and I felt the world around be begin to take shape again.

"I think she's more stubborn than you Ed." I could hear havoc whisper.

"I can hear you havoc." I growled.

"And by the sounds of it, she doesn't listen to you." I could hear the grin in his voice.

I began to walk over to Riza, "hey Riza, how have you been?" I asked her.

"I have been fine thank you, I can see you and Ed have gotten closer." She said smiling and I could feel the heat rise to my face.

"It's not like that Riza, I see him and Al as older brothers, nothing more than that, and I am sure they both see me as a younger sister that's why they are both so protective of me."

"Yes, but Ed is a little more protective than Al."

"Well Al is used to being protected, with him being Ed's younger brother, and Ed's the older brother so he's used to being over protective."

"I swear you are both blind to your true feelings."

"Blind to more than one thing." I whispered under my breath, but Riza had very good hearing and heard me.

"I didn't mean it that way, and you know that." She said sadly. "It's never bothered you before, well not openly, so what's wrong?"

"It's just around Christmas that it really gets me."

"But why?"

"Because, I used to love seeing all the trees and lights, the decorations, all the bright colours . . . But now."

"Now you can't see them. Is that why you haven't been yourself for the past week?" I heard Ed ask coming up behind me.

"Yes, and a few other things." I said under my breath.

"What else?" Riza asked.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." I said while walking off.

I had to be happy, for them, I can't ruin their Christmas. Even though it's the worst time for me.

"Hey Kristy, how are you? It was such a good idea to have a party." I heard Al say behind me, I put on a smile before turning around to face him.

"Hey Al, this is so fun isn't it?"

"Yeah, I mean I haven't seen everyone so happy in ages." I could hear the smile in his voice.

"Well I've gotta go, I'll be back soon."

"Sure."

I turned around and went outside, just as the tears started to build up in the bottom of my eyes, I just hope that Al didn't see them.

~Alphonse's POV~

After seeing Kristy, I could tell something was wrong, I could swear I had seen tears in her eyes . . . What did nii-San do this time? I walked over to nii-San to find out.

"Hey Al what ya doing?" Ed asked me.

"What did you do to Kristy?" I asked straight out, but nii-San had a completely shocked expression.

"What are you talking about, what's wrong with her?" He asked.

"So you really didn't do anything?"

"No, now tell me what's wrong."

"Well I don't know, she just said she needed to go but she looked like she was about to cry."

"Where was she going?"

"Well she just went outside over there." I said pointing the way I had come from, nii-San started running.

~Edwards POV~

What could be wrong, I mean she seemed fine just a minute ago, well as fine as she has been this week considering she has been acting weird all week. I came out into the cold air and saw Kristy sitting on a ledge, crying.

"Hey Kristy." I said slowly walking up behind her. I saw her wipe the tears from her eyes.

"Oh, h-hey Ed, I didn't hear you come." She said smiling, I could hardly tell that she had been crying but I knew that she had been.

I sighed, I didn't want her to be upset it's so weird, she's the strongest girl I've ever met but sometimes she breaks, and it's the most eerie thing, it makes me feel like I've done something wrong. "Look, I know something's wrong, so please tell me."

"You don't need to know, just go inside and enjoy yourself I'll be back in soon." She smiled at me but I knew it was fake, I haven't seen one of those in a while.

"Well I'm not leaving until you tell me." I said sitting down beside her. She sighed, and I was hoping that meant she was going to tell me.

"Just like I said to Riza, I just miss seeing all the lights and the smiling faces of everyone." She replied, but I could tell there was something else.

"And?"

"What do you mean and?"

"I can tell your not telling me everything, there's more."

"I hate your perceptiveness you know that." She said laughing.

"Well can you please tell me the truth?" I asked her quietly.

"Well there's lots of reasons, why I am sad around Christmas, I don't know why I don't hate it."

"Well tell me the one that's bothering you the most." I said grabbing her hands in my own.

"Kat, she would have been 13 just a few days ago." She said well sobbing, I realised what she said.

"What? It was your birthday was recently and you didn't tell us?"

"It was that day we left Winry's."

"So that's why you were upset."

"Yeah, I haven't celebrated it since she, since they left me." She lent on me, I could feel my shirt grow damp, I hesitated to put my hand on her back, but I did, I had never seen her like this before.

"What else?" I asked reluctantly.

"It was on Christmas that I lost them, It was on Christmas that I tried to bring them back, it was at Christmas time that I lost my sight." She said while slightly getting her breathing under control. I can't believe it, in the matter of a week all of the worst parts of her past haunt her.

She looked up at me, and it was then that I noticed, "your eyes, their blue?"

"Really?" She asked, "matches my mood I guess." She have a small smile, completely forced.

"Maybe we should tell them that the party's off?"

"No, I don't want to ruin everyone else's happiness, and besides they've all stopped already." She said sadly.

"What?" I turned around to see everyone at the door, I was wondering how much they had heard, but from the looks on their faces nearly everything.

"Well now I feel like the worst person ever." I heard Roy say.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"You guys have to go to Briggs for a while, and I know this is the worst time, then straight after that you have to Xing." He sighed.

"Have I ever told you how much of an ass you are?" I heard Kristy ask Roy.

"Multiple times, but for once it's not my fault because this was the furhrers orders." He smiled sadly at Kristy.

"Stop looking at me with pity." She growled while shooting them all a look that could kill, they all went back inside, and she looked to me.

"Do I have to leave you alone as well?" I asked while standing up, expecting that if I didn't I would be pushed.

"No." She said while pulling me back down into a seating position and leaning in me. "I like having you here." It was silent for a while just her and me sitting there staring up at the stars, well I was. "Stop watching and assuming there's something going on you bastards." She said, I turned around to see almost everyone watching us with lovey dovey faces. "I mean it." She growled and everyone walked away.

"Maybe we should go back in, try and make new memories for Christmas time, good ones." I said smiling down at her.

"Well I have one good one." She said smiling, and I could swear I saw a blush come on her face.

"What's that?" I asked.

"When you kissed me under the mistletoe." She whispered putting her head down.

I felt my face grow hot, and I new that it was one hundred shades of crimson. "Yeah, I like that one too."

Awwww, so sweet, yet I feel so cruel for having that horrid past, okay even though this is a Christmas special it is still apart of the story, okay thankyou, now I shall get back to writing. 😊
By the way her bday is the 20th December so they were in Central for 5 days but I just skipped all that cause I wanted to get this Christmas special up for y'all.
