Rosalyn's POV

I sat in silence, tapping my foot on the ground. I stood, walking out of my room, to the field with Seraphina. "Alright, so what will we do?" I asked Sera, tapping my foot. "Well.. I want to practice fighting." She answered. I nodded, going over to a post and pulling out daggers. We got in position and started training.

I was breathing heavily after the training with Seraphina. I heard applause from behind me, and I spun around to face James. "When will you learn to leave me alone?" I said coldly. "Why should I leave you alone?" He asked. "So I don't strangle you out of annoyance." I responded coldly. He shrugged, pulling out a dagger and pointing it at me. I took a defensive position, getting my two daggers out. He threw himself at me, and I nimbly dodged, kicking his leg from under him.

Will's POV

      I heard a thud in the distance, and I raced towards it. I saw James throwing himself at a girl. "Stop!" I shouted, making the girl distracted. I watched as James ran his dagger on her cheek, causing blood to rise. She automatically kicked him in the chest. He got up, dagger scratching her arm. I watched in horror as they continued to fight until I heard a roar. I noticed a smirk rise on the Girls face as James cowered away. A dragon landed next to the girl, eyeing James in fury. She reached out and scratched him.

Rosalyn's POV

     I walked over to the boy who was watching our fight. "You idiot, you got me distracted!" I snapped. His hands flew into the air, eyes wide. "Don't hurt me. I just don't think it's a good idea to be fighting other students.." He explained. I glared, "Well you didn't help the fight at all." I said coldly. He nodded, watching as Seraphina flew over. "Come on Sera, lets go, I have these cuts to attend to." I said. She nodded following me as I left.

Will's POV

     I watched as she left, the dragon following behind her. I scratched the back of my neck, giving a small chuckle. "She's something, isn't she?" I asked my familiar, who walked out from behind a tree. The gray wolf nodded, "Yes, I suggest you don't get on her bad side," he advised. I nodded, "I know Edon." I said to my familiar. He gave a low chuckle, shaking out his fur. "She's younger than you, but she has a lot of spirit." I nod in agreement, chuckling myself. "She probably has me on her list of dislikes, I did cause her to get that cut on her cheek." Edon shook his head, "I don't know, we'll have to see."

Rosalyn's POV

     I sat in my dorm, Serena sitting beside me. "So how'd you get that?" She asked, pointing to the cut on my cheek. "Some kid distracted me. He's older than me, so no doubt has a familiar." I responded. She nodded, "Did you hurt him?" I shook my head, "No, just yelled at him a little bit." She laughed, "You yell at anyone who distracts you in a fight." I shrugged, "That's a bad part of me I can't control." I answered. She nodded with a sigh. "Well get some rest, you'll need it." She said. I nodded, closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.
