11 - Mountain Vacation Part 1
Y'ALL IT'S FINALLY WINTER BREAK I'M SO HAPPY
WHO'S STRESSED?? NOT THIS BITCH IDK HER
MERRY HOLIDAYS KIDS

"Everyone ready?" Harry said.
It was 6:00 and we were all huddled around a rusty watering can, waiting for it to start glowing so we could stop freezing our asses off. As you could probably guess, I was NOT happy about being woken up so early.
Draco was standing to my left, wearing a long and expensive looking coat with a scarf wrapped around his neck. Damn, that boy was fine.
I nudged him with my elbow and he looked at me. "So Drakey, you never did tell me what you did to warrant you coming on this trip. I thought the Weasleys hated you."
"Well, they do," He replied, his breath misting in the frozen air, "But my father also happens to be friends with the owners of the lodge and they insisted that I join you. They said something about wanting me to make more friends my age." He scoffed.
"Well for the record, I'm kinda glad you're going," I said. He grinned widely, and the happiness was so different from his usual sneer that I smiled back.
"It's starting," Fred announced, glancing over at Draco and I.
The can began glowing a light blue, and we all placed a finger on it.
"Ok, in 3..." George began counting down, "2...1!"
Suddenly, my body was wrenched and I saw swirling lights like a vortex flash before I fell out of the sky and onto the ground.
"Aghhh," I lay on my back and groaned.
I sat up and rubbed my head, noticing the change in lighting. The sun was beginning to rise, and we were in front of a wooden chalet on top of a mountain with a gorgeous view of the Swiss valley.
I gasped slightly. My family wasn't poor by any means, but we were never winter-lodge-in-Switzerland rich.
I gathered my things and walked with the others into the lodge. The inside had wood floors and was MUCH bigger on the inside.
"What is this, the fuckin TARDIS?" I asked in amazement. The lodge had more than enough room for the nine of us, and I immediately bound up the stairs to claim my room.
I chose a moderately sized one at the end of the hallway with large windows that overlooked the snowy slopes. The doors even opened to a balcony that I could sit and watch the sunset on.
After putting my bags in my room, I ran back down the stairs and yelled, "WHO WANTS TO HAVE A SNOWBALL FIGHT!"

The teams were Draco, Fred, Harry and I against Ron, George, Hermione, Jack and Cedric. It was an epic showdown, sure to be talked about for centuries to come.
We began packing snow into walls to make forts and I ran over to Fred.
"Hey Freddie boy! I'm gonna stick near you, cause I figure you're pretty good at this since you're a Beater and all."
He grinned at me and gave me a one-armed hug, saying, "Aww, you know I'll protect you princess." Despite the surrounding cold, I felt my cheeks warm up.
"On your marks," Cedric shouted from the other side, "Get set...go!"
I leaned up and hurled a snowball at George, hitting him square in the chest. He looked up in surprise and growled playfully.
"You're gonna pay for that, babe." He threatened. I stuck my tongue out at him and laughed, turning to throw more snowballs at the others.
After almost half an hour, the throwing died down and we were all covered in snow. My teeth were chattering and the tip of my nose was red from cold.
"Let's go in guys," I yelled, watching Harry try and rub snow into Draco's head.
"Ah!" I let out a small shriek as I felt myself being lifted into the air in a fireman's carry. I looked and saw George grinning.
"I told you you'd pay, sweetheart."
With that, he threw me into a pile of fluffy snow.
"Who wants to go in the hot tub?"

We were all freezing and made the unanimous decision to warm up in the hot tub. I was excited to finally be able to use my new bathing suit and ran inside with Hermione to change.
We went back in the house and Hermione suddenly gasped, stopping in her tracks and startling me.
I put a hand to my heart, "Jesus 'Mione, what is it?"
"I've completely forgotten it's Christmas Eve!" She shrieked, "And we haven't even decorated! That NEEDS to change."
She waved her wand and glittering streamers shot out of it, winding themselves along the banister and attaching to the ceiling, hanging down in loops. She pointed at the corner of the room and a tall pine tree appeared. The smell of pine sap hit my nose and I smiled, reminded of the Christmases I spent back home.
Glass ornaments appeared on the ends of the leafy branches, and a large golden star grew from the very tip, glowing slightly and beginning to emit faint christmas carols like a gramaphone.
I threw an arms around Hermione's shoulder. "It's perfect."
Once we were in my room, I put the two piece on and she changed into a low cut black one piece.
"I bet you Ron's gonna like that," I winked at her and she rolled her eyes.
"Oh shut up Y/N, everyone knows all the boys are in love with you."
I laughed, thinking she was joking, but stopped when I saw her serious face.
"Are...are you joking?" I choked slightly and she nodded.
"Of course, how have you not noticed? You have got to be the most dense person since the guy that invented reusable toilet paper."
I sat down heavily and thought back to all the interactions I'd had with the boys. Now that I thought about it, they had all seemed kinda interested in me. But I liked them all for different reasons.
Cedric was kind but witty, and we were able to talk endlessly about topics that we were both interested in. I loved the ways his eyes lit up when he got excited about something, or how he smiled when he made me laugh. He smelled like a forest, and I could spend hours just leaning against him (totally not to feel up his shoulder muscles).
Harry was adorably sweet but protective when he needed to be, and we had effortless conversation. When he was interested in something, he was 100% invested in it, and he was passionate about the things he loved. I felt safe around him; It seemed as if his years of being bullied by his family had made him that much more resilient and defensive of those close to him. I would not want to be on his bad side - he can go from golden retriever to attack pitbull in a second.
Fred and George are so similar, and yet so different at the same time. Whenever I hang around them, I get the feeling that dating them would be a package deal. Not that I'd be complaining about having two gorgeous boys on my arm instead of one. They get jealous easily however, which I found endearing and almost comforting in a way. They also never half-assed anything, and had incredible drive and intelligence beyond schoolwork, although they'd never admit it. The only question is, do I have enough energy for them?
Ron also doesn't care much about school, and I've observed that he's very laid-back when it comes to making decisions. He seems to just go where the current decides to take him, so to speak. He's quick to spring to the defense of his friends and loved ones; I just hadn't known that I belonged in the latter group.
I've mentioned before that Draco and I were childhood friends. I used to think he was snobbish when we started going to Hogwarts, but the qualities I saw in him as kids have started coming out more and more often as of late. We have an undeniable chemistry and magnetism, and although he could be infuriating at times, I was drawn to him. He's a huge asshole at times, but it's partly because his parents fucked him up so badly.
Jack was my most recent friend, and the most puzzling. I found him, as I did the other boys, undeniably attractive; However, I occasionally got glimpses of something darker when he let his happy-go-lucky facade slip. I got the feeling he cared for me though, and I think that I could potentially care for him too. Although I got a strange vibe from him, he gave me thrills.
I hope I wouldn't have to choose. I don't suppose they'd let me do a sort of reverse-harem thing, would they?
So y'all, that's the latest chapter. Sorry for the late update, but MERRY CHRISTMAS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!
