Of course you did; that's why now we are meeting here. As I said, it's a short story, so it doesn't have a very big cast, and this time I am not going to give you any face claims. You are free to imagine anyone OR you can imagine as I am going to describe them because in this character introduction I will describe the appearance of our leads.

Female lead:

Taalika Agnihotri: She belongs to a Brahmin family, a bubbly girl who lives life to the fullest. At 22, she is pursuing an MBA. As the eldest daughter, her life, like that of many others in a typical middle-class family, comes with several restrictions. Though her parents love her dearly, they adhere to traditional stereotypes—she isn’t allowed to go out alone, stay out overnight, or even sleep over at a friend’s house. She must be back home by 6 p.m., and anything she needs is provided at home.

She believes in simple living and high thinking. Standing at 5'8", she has a wheatish complexion. Her beautiful doe-like brown eyes, framed with long, thick lashes, complement her diamond-shaped face and pointy nose. She has stunning, silky raven-black hair that cascades to her waist. A beauty with brains, she has been a topper since childhood.

Although she doesn’t have many friends, her closest companion is Prachi Singh, her inseparable childhood best friend. Prachi’s family has roots in Punjab, and she introduced Taalika to North Indian music. Because of Prachi, Taalika is the only one in her family who enjoys and understands Punjabi music. However, her personal favorite genre is qawwalis.

Male lead:

Sufiyan Safir Ranjha: He is the most famous fusion Sufi Qawwali singer, belonging to a Punjabi Muslim family. As the only son, he faced tragedy early in life when his father passed away when he was just 12 years old. His mother raised him alone, and though he is loved by millions of fans, he remains a heartbroken soul. Music is his life; when he had no one else, his music was always there for him.

At 27 years old, he is an accomplished artist. Incredibly handsome, with a charm that captivates millions, he stands tall at 6 feet, exuding confidence and vitality. His magnetic personality and striking looks command attention wherever he goes. His mesmerizing black eyes make hearts race, complemented by thick locks of hair that frame his face. With a sharp jawline and an oval-shaped face, his dimples drive his female fans wild whenever he smiles. A short beard that enhances his handsomeness even more, well-groomed and trimmed, the style frames his jawline, enhancing facial structure and giving a poolish look.

Due to his work, he spends most of his time traveling and hardly finds time to come home. However, when he is home, all his time is devoted to his mother, whom he loves dearly. He is not close to many people; his crew is like family to him after his mother, and his best friend is his manager, Dev Mehra. They have been together since they were in the 5th grade.

The Agnihotri's

Shashank Agnihotri: Taalika’s father; he owns the oldest sweets shop in Mathura. A reputed man in his city who earned respect more than money. He loves his family so much and does everything for them.

Madhu Agnihotri: Taalika's mother; she is a homemaker, and her life only revolves around her kids and husband.

Swar Agnihotri: Taalika's younger brother, 17 years old, who is in his last year of school.

The Ranjha’s

Maryam Safir Ranjha: Sufiyan’s mother. A widow. She is a baker. First, she used to work as a pastry chef in a small restaurant to raise Sufiyan after her husband died and now runs a baking academy. She is the only family that Sufiyan has now besides his crew.
