The year was 2031, everything was at peace there was no more Loki, no more Ultron, and most of all no more Thanos. But everything to achieve peace comes at a price the lives of Black Widow and Iron Man will live on in our hearts. But now this is a new story of new heroes to protect the earth and every story has to start with everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

(New York City 2031)

In the year 2031, New York City was protected by Spider-man for years but everyone knows that people even someone like Spider-man have limits which is why we see him currently talking to his wife Mary Jane Wattson.

"Listen, I understand that I'm a bit harsh on him but he has to understand that being a superhero isn't that easy." Peter Parker said as Mary Jane sat down on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I get where you're coming from, but you have to remember that he's only 15 and just now started high school. I remember a nerdy boy who had a crush on a beautiful redhead and who was secretly Spider-man protecting her." She said.

Peter sighed as he nodded, "I'll try and tone it down." He said as she smiled and kissed his cheek and got up before hearing the police radio on the coffee table go off. "10-30, Shocker has broken free from prison and is robbing the city bank." Peter looked at Mary Jane who handed him his suit and pat his cheek. "Go get'em, tiger," She said as he nodded and pecked her lips before putting his suit on.

"Dad, can I come with you?" Someone asked behind him as he turned around and saw his 15-year-old son Ronnie May Parker and shook his head, "Sorry RJ you can't come this time it's more serious." Ronnie frowned and crossed his arms, "Come on dad, you've been training me by making me fight small-time robbers and thieves I can handle myself."

Peter kneeled and looked at his son and put his hands on his shoulders, "Listen I wouldn't be able to live with myself if anything bad happened to you," "But nothing bad will happen, I promise I can beat Shocker's ass." He said as Mary Jane softly flicked the side of his head, "Swear jar." She said as Ronnie sighed before putting a dollar in the jar.

"Pete, take him with you he might learn some more things from this experience," Mary Jane said as Peter sighed before looking at Ronnie. "Come on, let's go get Shocker," He said as Ronnie smiled before running upstairs and grabbed his suit. "He reminds me of you back in high school," She said as Peter chuckled a bit. "I'd rather not remember that." He said as Ronnie came back in his homemade suit.

Peter smiled behind his mask and pat his shoulder before looking at Mary Jane, "We'll be back," He said before swinging out of the window as Ronnie hugged her. "See ya mom," "Be careful RJ," She said before Ronnie swung out of the window following his dad.

(New York City Bank)

Shocker blasted open the vault of the bank and filled the bags he had with money before hearing a voice right behind him, "Ya know for someone who's been sent to prison numerous times ya think he'd learn his lesson." He turned around and saw Spider-man hanging upside down from a web. "Spider-man!" He exclaimed before hearing another voice, "Make that plural, chacho," He turned around again this time seeing Kid Arachnid crawling down the wall.

"Two of you?, Spider-mans?!" He said confused as Kid Arachnid tilted his head. "Is that the plural?" He asked his dad as Spider-man shrugged as Shocker looked down and sighed, "Dammit." He said before dropping the bags and held his hands up, "I know I won't win so go ahead and take me in," He said in a defeated tone as Kid Arachnid walked over to him. "Well that was easy," He said before Spider-man's spidey-sense went off.

"Kid Arachnid back up!" Spider-man yelled out as Kid Arachnid looked confused before yelping as Shocker charged up his fist and grabbed his arm before punching hard in the abdomen launching him back making a dent in the wall. "Seems this one is more stupid than the original," Shocker said in a snarky tone before moving out of the way from a kick.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked as Kid Arachnid slowly stood up, "Yeah just a small injury," He said as Spider-man looked at Shocker who had charged up his gauntlets again, "Listen you aim low while I aim high." Kid Arachnid nodded as Spider-man swung up and hung on the ceiling.

"Hey Herman, what type of tech do you use for your gauntlets?, I've always wanted to make concentrated vibrational webs." Spider-man said as Shocker grunted, "None of your business and the names Shocker!" He said before shooting a blast at him which he dodged.

Kid Arachnid webbed his legs and pulled them causing him to trip, "But if you think about it shocker is more used for electricity than bass boosted air." He said as Shocker got up and shot a blast at him which he rolled out of the way which blasted open the wall causing debris to fall blocking the entrance of the bank.

Spider-man landed on Shocker's back and ripped off his left gauntlet and tossed it as Kid Arachnid then webbed his face which caused Shocker to grunt and rip it off his face before seeing Spider-man kick him in the jaw knocking him on the ground. Spider-man walked over and turned him on his back and then wrapped him in webbing. He looked over at Kid Arachnid who kneeled next to him. "Not bad kid," He said as Ronnie smiled beneath his mask and nodded before his spidey-sense went off as he pushed Spider-man out of the way and got punched in the ribs as he cried out in pain and hit the debris.

"Son!" Spider-man shouted in shock and instinct before turning around and delivered a punch to Shocker's face knocking him out and ripped off his right gauntlet before wrapping him in webbing again as he ran over to Kid Arachnid and helped him up.

"Hey son, listen to my voice your gonna be okay." He said as he took off Ronnie's mask seeing the pain in his face as he also took off his mask. "Dad, everything hurts," He said as Peter held him close and picked him up as he put their masks back on and began to swing out of the bank as the entrance of the bank opened up as the police rushed in and arrested Shocker.

(New York City Hospital)

"Your son has three fractured ribs and a bruise on his stomach, he's lucky to be alive one of his ribs almost punctured his lung," The doctor said to Peter as he nodded and the doctor left as Peter sat down next to Ronnie's bed who was looking out of the window.

"Hey son, you doing okay?" He asked as Ronnie looked over at him. "I'll manage but at least I can make up a story at school to look cool." Peter chuckled and ruffled his hair. "That's my boy, Ronnie when you were born I wanted to keep you out of the superhero world cause of the things that happen, but when you was given my powers I was happy and excited but also worried because of the dangers of losing you which almost happened today." Peter said as Ronnie nodded and looked down, "I'm not mad at you for saving my life, I'm mad at myself because this could've been avoided if I was faster."

Peter sighed as Mary Jane walked in and put her hand on his shoulder which he grabbed and held, "When you're out of the hospital I want to take you somewhere. I want you to meet the man that made me into a better hero." He said as Ronnie nodded which made Peter smile and pat his shoulder, "Get some rest." He said and stood up as Mary Jane kissed his forehead and walked out with him.

(Four weeks later)

Ronnie was in the passenger seat of the car with Peter in the drivers seat, "So whose this man that made you into a better superhero?" He asked as Peter chuckled. "You'll see when we get there," He said as Ronnie nodded and leaned back.

Peter drove up to a cemetery as he parked the car and got out as Ronnie followed after him as they walked for a while before making it to the middle of the cemetery as there was a statue of a man in a metallic suit and a grave under it.

"Hey again, how are you doing? I'm being a better superhero and father every day for my son. I finally brought him to meet you this is Ronnie May Parker also known as Kid Arachnid, he hates the name by the way." Peter said as he kneeled and chuckled as a tear went down his face, "I miss you every day but I'll live on knowing that your up there smiling down at me." He said as Ronnie kneeled next to his father and wrapped an arm around his shoulder to comfort him.

"This is the consequences of being a hero Ronnie, you can't protect everyone from everything and you lose the ones you love. I lost my best friend and almost lost your mother on several occasions along with my own life. Being a hero means that you have to sometimes sacrifice the things closest to you," Peter said as he wiped his tears away and stood up.

"Which is why I want you to carry on my mantle. I want you to be the new Spider-man," He said as Ronnie stood up in shock. "But I can't do this without you," He said as Peter put his hands on his shoulders. "Ronnie I'm getting old and can't be Spider-man for many more years even superheroes need to retire. But don't worry if you ever need any help or advice you can always come to me." Peter said as Ronnie looked down for a bit before looking in his eyes and nodded. "I'll make you proud dad," He said as Peter smiled and hugged him close. "I've always been proud of you. Spider-man,"

As they hugged the sun shined down on them and showed the name on the headstone.
