Joey's P.O.V.

I met the new substitute, Mr. Harden. He is really nice and kinda seems gay. Honestly he seems like someone Daniel would date. Or atleast he seems like someone who would hook up with Daniel for a one night stand. But believe me, I know Daniel and he would never do that.

I walk into class and decide to warn Daniel about him. I don't want him going after my boyfriend or worse, my boyfriend going after him.

Daniel didn't seem to worried about him, which made me feel at ease. When you date someone, your hopes are always high. You must learn to keep them small. But sometimes, you try to resist and you still want it all. I want all of Daniel's faithfulness and commitment but I can't make him give it to me. So, I have to watch out.

I already know that Mr. Harden is a slut. That is because I heard him talking to abother teacher about him having sex with another long-term substitute at this school. The nerve of some people. And to top it off, he even said that the guy he had sex with had a boyfriend! So he cheated on his boyfriend as well. The nerve of some people.

The bell rings and it is time for the after-school session. I am surprised that no one is suspicious of me and Daniel spending everyday after school together. Today is Friday so that means I get to spend the weekend at Daniel's house. I walk in and Mr. Harden is already in the classroom. It sounded like they were talking about how long they will sub for and why they had to long term sub.

"Hello Mister Preda. Mr. Harden," I say to them with a smile.
"Hello Joesph. This is Mr. Harden. Mr. Harden this is Joesph," Daniel says introducing us. I have somewhat met him if you count ease dropping on his conversation in the hallway as I slowly walked past him.
"You can call me Joey," I say shaking his hand to be polite.
"Well it is nice to meet you, Joey," he says with a grin. Daniel and Mr. Harden look at eachother awkwardly. Why are they acting so weird?

"Did I interupt an important conversation?" I say pointing my finger in between them.
"No. I was just on my way out. See you guys tomorrow," Mr. Harden says as he walks out and waves bye to us.

Once he is gone I go and lock the door and walk over to Daniel to give him a quick kiss, but I stop. He looks sick to his stomach. His face is white and he is sweating slightly.
"What's wrong?" I say trying to wipe some if the sweat off of his forehead.
"I-I don't know. I have just felt sick all day..." Daniel says trailing off on the last word. Something is going on that he isn't telling me.
"What were you and Mr. Harden talk about?" I say trying to change the subject. But, unfortunatley, I picked the wrong subject to change to because it only seemed to make Daniel look more anxious.
"W-w-we were just talking about subbing and how long we were doing it for. It wasn't very thrilling. W-why? Why d-do you ask?" He says tapping his chin. Whenever he says thrilling it sends chills through my body. I need to ask him about that. This weekend I will.
"Because, you were fine all day and now you have one conversation with him and you look like death. Daniel. What. Is. Wrong." I say sitting him down in his desk while I pull a chair up beside him.
"Nothing. I think it may just be a stomach bug or s-something..." he says nodding his head like he is trying to believe himself but he isn't.
"Is one of the sypmtoms of a stomach bug excessive stuttering?" I say cocking my one eyebrow to show suspicion.

The whole session was very awkward. Daniel just looked deathly ill the whole time. I drove my car and he drove his car to his house. I started to think about what is going on. I needed to process this. They were onviously talking about something way more deep than subbing. And then it hit me...

Mr. Harden had sex with another male long term sub who has a boyfriend. The only male, long-term sub other than Mr. Harden is...
