Daniel's P.O.V.

I walk into my classroom early. I need some time to compose myself before facing Joey. I don't know if I am going to tell him yet. But I need to. It isn't like I did it on purpose. I was drunk.

The bell rings and students start coming in the class. Joey eventually walks in and comes up to my desk.
"Woah! I love your hair. Can I talk to you after class?" He says. His voice sounds like he is nervous. Why?
"Yeah sure," I say. He just nods his head and makes his way to his seat.

"Okay so today in class we will be working on our papers. The rough draft will be due on Friday so make sure you don't leave it to the last minute. Get to work," I say. In this class, all we do is write this one paper. But this paper determines if the graduate or not so it has to be perfect.

Everytime I would look up Ricky would be staring at Joey. They finally began talking. I couldn't make out exactly what they were saying but I could tell that whatever it was, he is going to tell me about it after class. I start getting nervous because I know I have to tell him what I did. But it isn't a big secret. What he doesn't know won't hurt him. Right?

The bell rings and everyone gets up and leaves. Joey closes the door and locks it. He walks up to me and cups my face. He places a soft, lustful kiss to my lips and then pulls away. He leaves his forehead on mine for a minute before he starts talking.

"I need to tell you something but you need to promise not to be mad at me," Joey says placing his hand on the back of my neck gripping the hair back there.
"You can tell me anything, baby. I won't be mad at you," I say placing my hands on his waist.
"Okay. I went over to Ricky's house because he was upset that his mom found out he was gay. He was upset so I wiped his tears away the way you always do to me to make me feel better. But I did it in a friendly way. Well, he didn't take it friendly. He kissed me. And for a few seconds I kissed back. But I came to my senses and realized that kissing anyone but you feels wrong. Like they were never meant for me," he says. He begins to cry. I bring my hands to his cheeks and wipe away his tears. I then bring him to kiss me. I lick his lip and ask for an entrance and we kiss for another few minutes until the bell rings. He grabs his bookbag and walks to the door.
"No more secrets. Okay? I love you," he says leaning on the door.
"Okay. No more secrets. I love you too," I say waving to him goodbye.

The problem is, I am keeping a secret from him. One that will hurt him far worse than I could imagine...
