Daniel's P.O.V. (Friday)

I can't wait for tonight. Joey is coming over at 6 and I am cooking dinner for him. Then, we are going to watch a scary movie. I would tell you why I chose a scary one but I am pretty sure you know why. I hate to say it but I am pretty nervous. This is all new to me. Not the whole dating boys thing. The whole dating my student thing.

Why am I thinking ahead? I haven't even asked him to be my boyfriend yet. We haven't even had our date yet. It will be fine. Just be yourself. Joey has became interested in you without you even showing him you are interested too. The largest leap has been led. Now I just have to go over the hurdles.

It is the end of the day. Of course as a teacher I have to stay afterschool until 4 but I will still have 2 hours to prepare for our date. As soon as the clock hits four I am out of the school and in my car. This is going to be amazing.

I got home and immediatley started cooking. After everything was done it was about 5:30. I hop into the shower and hop right out. I get dressed formally yet casually. Then I style my hair and for once it styles the way I want it to. Right as I am done I hear the door bell ring. As I take each step towards the door I get more and more anxious.

What if he just has the intentions of making me fall in love with him and fucking me then breaking my heart? Are my dad's predictions coming true?

I shake off my dark thoughts and look at myself one last time. You. Can. Do. This. I walk to the door and turn the nob.

Here goes nothing.
