Hey guys, I am back with another update. I know a lot of you didn't like Sid in the last update after what happened, hope this chapter makes you hate him a little less. 

Sid's POV

I couldn't think straight, she was gone, where did she go. Lord, she should have just hit me immediately and spoken to me before she just disappeared. 

I got in the car and kept driving around. I checked at her 'haven' as she liked to call it but she wasn't there. I checked all her favourite spots, before I had a feeling I knew where she was. I quickly drove to the ice-cream vendor we had gone to while she was drunk, and as I had guessed, I saw her sitting facing the sea, eating an ice-cream. Oh god, the world can turn upside down but she can't forget her ice-cream. 

'Hey' I said. She absent-mindedly returned the greeting before she seemed to have registered my voice. She turned to to look at me, her eyes clearly showed all the hurt and pain she was feeling, but it also had a bit of surprise. 

Kriti's POV

'Hey' someone said, I returned the greeting softly till my mind registered the voice and I turned around to look at the person, that became my person, my world without me even realizing it. I got up to be at the same level as him. 

Seeing him locked up in that embrace with di made me realize how much he meant to me. I couldn't breathe when I saw him with her, I knew I was stupid enough to fall for him even though I knew somewhere deep down that he would run back to di the she returned. How could I have been so stupid. 

'What are you doing here, shouldn't you be getting our divorce papers ready. Oh wait, are you here to ask me to make them. Let me tell you, I am going to study law, I am not already a certified lawyer, so I can't help you. Sorry that you're going to have to spend more money on me since you'll need to hire a lawyer to draw up the divorce contract. I am happy for you' I said trying my best to stay strong. 

'I am really really ha-' I couldn't speak anymore since I chocked and my knees gave out and I fell to the ground. 

'Kriti' he shouted holding me by the shoulders and pulling me up. 

'I am sorry about that, I am just feeling very faint since its been a long day and I have not eaten since I had lunch' I faked masking my expressions. 

'Kritika don't lie to me, I know you better then you know yourself and both of us know that that is not the reason you are feeling this way so will you just shut up and listen to me' he said seriously. 

'You don't need to say anything, I saw you and di. I understood, anyway I was just a substitute for di. Now that she is back, you both can go back to the way you'll were. I'll go to university as I had planned earlier and in a while everything will go to the way it was supposed to be. I might even move on after sometime. Though don't expect me to call you jiju, that I will never ever be able to do. I may even be able to find myself a boyfriend a year or two later and then we can sit and laugh about the last few months. Okay, so go on, go and find us a divorce lawyer and spend time with di Mr. Idiot, you've not been around her for so long' I told him chocking as my tears poured out of my eyes without my permission. 

'Are you done with your rubbish theories? Can I talk now?' he asked seeming exasperated. See he was so annoyed of me, di was perfect for him I thought bitterly. I just nodded so that we could get through this. 

'Wait a second, I know what you are going to say. Don't worry, I'll clear out my things from the room and go so that di can settle in tomorrow. Please can you just leave me alone' I said as I turned around to walk away. I was harshly pulled closer by Siddarth. Why did he have to do this, it just made it harder for me to go away from him. He spun me around, placed a hand on my waist and the other held both my hands behind my back. 

'Will you listen now' he said, more as a command then a question. I just nodded unable to look away from him. This may be the last time, I am so close to him. I just took in all his features for one last time. 

'Kritika it was not what you thought' he said. 

'Please, you don't need to make up stories for me' I said. 

'Shut up, not a word more, just listen to everything I have to say and talk only after I allow you' he commanded dominatingly. I couldn't help but nod. 

'So as I was saying before I was cut-off so nicely, It was not what you thought. I saw her for the first time today since she ranaway. I was just too shocked to see her. I thought that I should feel like killing her but all I felt was indifference to her presence, but I was curious so I followed her. I admit I should have told you, that was wrong of me, but I wanted to find out things before you got to know anything 'cause I know that despite everything, your sister is one of the most important people in your life. I didn't want this situation to end up hurting you. So anyways I followed her and found out why she ran away' he said. 

'Why?' I asked before I could stop myself. 

'No talking' he said sternly before he continued. 

'She ran away because she realized that I was not the one she loved, I was just a rebound. But more because she found out that she was pregnant with the baby of the guy she loved. She didn't think of the consequences and just ran away. Today she was apologizing alot to me and was very stressed out, she was about to faint which is why I held her. I know no matter what, you wouldn't want any harm to come to her or your future niece/nephew. That was when you saw us and the whole misunderstanding happened. She is happy with her guy and has no interest coming in between us. I have fallen for you too, I love you Mrs. Kritika Siddarth Ahuja and don't even think about divorce 'cause that's not going to happen for our next 7 lives and even after that. Oh right, how could I forget, you were going to get yourself a boyfriend right. Try it, and you'll find him accidently drowning in the sea, right there' he finished pointing to someplace deep inside the sea. 

'You love me?' I asked, I just couldn't believe it. He loved me, ME. 

'Yes, I love you princess more then you'll ever know, and more then Augustus Waters ever loved Hazel Grace, more then Mr. Darcy loved Elizabeth, more then Jace loved Clary, more then Draco loved Hermione, more then Percy loved Annabeth, more then Romeo loved Juliet, more then Damon loved Elena, more then Harvey loved Donna, more then Hardin loved Tessa, more then Will loved Tessa, more then Peeta loved Katniss, much much more then any of your stupid book crushes loved their partners' he told me. I just cried against his chest.

'You can talk now princess' he told me softly.

'I love you too, don't ever leave me and if I ever talk about divorce you can lock me up in our room without any food till I agree I don't want it anymore. You actually used to listen to me when I used to tell you about the characters?' I asked him still curious.

'I gave you such a romantic speech and that's the part you focus on, but I guess that's what I love about you. Obviously I listened to everything you used to say. You can make anything in the world interesting. I read all of them so that I could talk to you about it' he confessed.

'Really' I asked shocked. He did that for me?

'Obviously I did it for you' he said.

'I am sorry I ran away without listening to you first' I said softly.

'And I am sorry I made you feel insecure' he said without missing a beat.

'What about di?' I asked still wondering who she was with though I had a strong suspicion it was Aryan bhai.

'Is her partner's name Aryan? Did they get married? How many months pregnant did she look? I am going to be masi, oh my god. I need to sort things out with di. I am not letting her stay away anymore, I need her in my life. I know you don't like her a lot now, but please can we meet her, can we sort things out. After all, she is the reason we got each other isn't it' I said with puppy eyes.

'I don't know about Krishi, but you are definitely acting like a pregnant woman, whose mood changes so fast. And to answer your questions, yes its Aryan, I don't know if they are married. I don't know how many months pregnant she was. And yes we can meet her. Only for you though' he said.

'Thank you, thank you, thank you' I shouted hugging him tight.

'Now can we have an ice-cream, atleast we can end our first date happily and I am very hungry' I told him.

'Didn't you already have one?' he asked looking amused.

'Are you getting it for me or no?' I asked with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms.

'As you wish princess' he replied kissing my forehead before pulling away.

'What one do you want?' he asked.

'You remember my drunk order?' I asked with a grin.

'One over chocolatey ice-cream coming right up' he said fake saluting me before he went to the vendor. I kept looking at him, he was really mine now, without any worries about what happened when di returned.

He chose me and I chose him. Everything was falling in place now, just one thing needed to be rectified and I'll rectify it as soon as he returns.

He walked back with my ice-cream and settled down beside me. I held it out for him to taste and he took a bite.

'You have some bit there' I said with a laugh when I looked at his face, he looked so cute, so handsome.

'Wait, I'll get it off for you' I said. I slowly moved closer, though I didn't need to move too close since we were already very close. I looked in his eyes once before I closed my eyes and kissed him. He returned the kiss immediately. We pulled away what seemed to be a few minutes later to breathe. Our breathes mingled as we kept looking at one another with a small smile on our faces.

'What was that for?' he asked softly.

'Every date ends that way, and I wanted a new first kiss, forget the earlier one' I told him with a wink.

'As you wish' he told me. We sat there holding each other, looking into the sea, taking everything in. It was a really really long day.
