Chapter 5: The Struggle is Over.

I've been out of that coma for 7 years now, I married my soul mate, Pacifica, and we have a beautiful daughter named Rapunzel. My diabetes is n more, but I do limit my sugar intake, and my incontinence is practically gone at this point so now I wear normal people underwear.

Right now I live with my Wife and our now 7 year old daughter, who loves me to death.

I was just working on the memoir you're reading when my daughter came in.

"Daddy," said Rapunzel, "Can we go get frogurt?"

"Sure princess," I said, "I've been working hard, I deserve a treat, but you deserve it more for being a adorable little girl."

My daughter giggles every time she hears that.

We went to our favorite frozen yogurt shack. I got chocolate with graham cracker crumbs and mini marshmallows, while Rapunzel got Strawberry with Strawberry purée and Strawberry Cheerios, she loves Strawberries.

When we got home, I turned on her favorite movie, Tangled, Rapunzel reminds me of the Rapunzel in the movie. She's very imaginative and I encourage that in her.

Later on in the film, it was at her favorite song.

"Wanna dance daddy?" Rapunzel asked.

"Sure baby girl," I said.

I picked her up and start swaying to the song. By the time the song finished up she was asleep in my arms. I then place her on her bed and drape her favorite Tangled blanket on her and kissed her on the forehead.

"Sweet dreams little dreamer," I said.

At that moment, looking at my daughter sleeping peacefully, I realized something very important, my struggles in life, are behind me forever.

The End
