Chapter 2
Today is June 18th, 2012, today would be my Dad's and my Aunt Ariel's birthday. But instead of celebrating with him, were in a state above him. Far away from Piedmont in a town that's not on any maps, seriously, I'm couldn't make that up even if I wanted to.
Anyways I wake up the same way, every single day, groggy, sluggish, and in a full diaper because of my incontinence, more life problems for me on aisle 12.
My mom then walks into the bedroom and helps me change.
"Look Dipper," said my mom, "I know your not happy about what happened recently. But, I know it will get better. When a door is closed, a window is open."
I say, "Whatever mom."
I walk down stairs to see my sister playing with Grunkle Stan's pet Labrador Retriever, Rufus.
"Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" Mabel asked the dog.
I go into the fridge and grab a sugar free Greek yogurt out of the fridge and eat it. The taste is okay if you have diabetes like I do, although I add some peach slices for flavor since, well Greek yogurt extremely bitter.
I sit down in front of the TV and turned to some show about weird families or something, I don't know what it was I wasn't really paying attention to it.
While eating my diabetic friendly breakfast, a girl with blonde hair around my age walked into the shack.
"Hey there's my favorite Blondie," said Stan, "How's it going Pacifica."
"I'm doing good Mr. Pines, my parents are still jerks begging me to move back in with them," said Pacifica.
"You kept saying no right?" Stan asked.
"Yeah, millions of dollars could make anyone mean if you spend to crazily," said Pacifica, "This is why my aunt Demi said my mom made the wrong choice."
Stan was laughing but I was still minding my own business. Pacifica then came up to me.
"Hello," said Pacifica.
I didn't respond.
"What the matter can you talk?" Pacifica asked.
I look away from her.
Stan came up to her and explained everything to her.
"Oh, sorry I didn't know," said Pacifica, "But I know a lot about what you're going through."
I look into her face.
"My parents are the richest couple in town, and they used to boss me around until one day I had enough," said Pacifica.
"What happened?" I asked her.
She held onto my hand.
"I ran away," said Pacifica.
My eyes were widen in shock.
"I couldn't handle being their daughter anymore so I ran off to life with my Aunt Demi across town," said Pacifica, "she treats me like a human being and not like a show dog."
Rufus then comes up and likes her face.
"Yeah, hello Rufus," said Pacifica.
"That's sad to hear," said Dipper.
"Yeah well I hated being rich anyway," said Pacifica, "The lifestyle is too stuffy for me."
She and I held each others hands. This is when I realized, I've met my soul mate.
