Chapter 1

This whole story started when I was born. My name is Mason Alexander Pines, I was born on August 31st, 1999 at 2:24am, 5 minutes after my twin sister, Mabel Dana Pines. From the day I was born, my parents knew there was something wrong with me. When I was around 2, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Luckily my parents and sister were very helpful when it came to my needs, such as check my blood sugar levels and taking my insulin.

But by the time my sister turned 3, this was when we were supposed to start potty training. Mabel's was going great, while I had a real rough time trying to holding my movements. It was later diagnosed as a symptom of my diabetes, it made me incontinent, which means I have no control on when I go to the bathroom. When my sister heard about this she immediately refused to continue her toilet training because she said, "If my bro-bro has to wear diapers forever, then I'll wear diapers forever." Only for her to complete toilet training a year later, but she has to wear them at night due to genetic bedwetting from dad's side of the family. While my diabetes, skips a generation from mom's side.

Now because of my condition, my parents homeschooled Mabel and I. But they do take us out on trips to town so we could meet other kids. But I was really shy as a kid, because I was afraid of how kids would feel about me. Because of that, I never really had any real friends besides my sister, although when I was young, I carried my security blanket, which I still keep to this day, mainly as a reminder of all the times I had with it, that and also it covers the light from my sister's old nightlight, which is brighter than the sun, I'm pretty sure that's impossible but for some reason it is.

Anyway that's the start of my story the rest is long joke at me, as more started, in the summer of 2012. By then my sister and I were 12 years old this was when we got the news that are parents were getting a divorce, they stated that they don't feel the spark they had when they first met and that they still love us. Afterwards, custody of us was handed to mom, but our house went to dad, so she decided to move us up to Gravity Falls, OR, a small town in Roadkill county on the Redwood highway. We went to live with our Great Uncle Stan, or Grunkle Stan as we call him, in his shack/museum in the woods. We don't mind it, I mean he found a way to get TV and internet to an old house. When we first met him when we were like 3 or possibly younger, he made fun of me because of my security blanket. But, my mom told him about my problems and why I have it. He later said he was sorry because his older brother, my grandfather Sherman, died from the same problem before I was born. He now treats me with respect and helps me with my ordeals.

And this is the start of my story.
