Derek and Roy's POV

There was silence in the car as a 21 and 17 year old drove to Beacon Hills California.

"So where are we going"Roy asked Derek 

"We're going back home"Derek told him

"Isn't home in wait you mean"began Roy only to be cut off by Derek

"Yeah back to Beacon Hills"Derek told his brother 

"Great now I have to deal with a new school, new neighborhood and large crowds which I have not gotten used to"muttered Roy 

"Hey Roy calm down it'll be okay"Derek told him 

"Alright now you try and get some sleep i'll wake when we get there"Derek told Roy as he kept his eyes on the road

"Alright"Roy told Derek as he moved the passenger seat back and fell asleep

(An Hour and a half later)

"Roy wake up we're here the old hale house"Derek told him as he parked the car outside of their old house

"More like the burned hale house"muttered Roy

"ROY MICHAEL HALE"Yelled Derek 

Derek was getting ready to yell at his brother but stopped when he saw Roy had his eyes closed and how pale Roy was he should have known coming back here would not have been easy for his brother.

"Roy you okay"Derek asked him softly 

"I can hear them all of them they're screams"Roy told him 

"Alright how loud"Derek asked him 

"very loud"said Roy 

"Roy calm down"Derek told his brother as he breathing began to speed up

"Great it's the night of the full moon and I'm freaking out"Roy told Derek

"I know but Roy I'm gonna be right there with you and you do have control over you wolf"Derek told him 

"Yeah I know"Roy told him 

"Alright let's go inside"said Derek 

"Okay"said Roy as Derek led them inside

"Laura's been here"said Derek as soon as they stepped into the house 

"Yeah I can smell her"Roy told him

Flashback begins

It was a quite night in the hale house and the one of the youngest hale's was sulking with a black eye

"I still don't see why I can't go out Derek and Laura are out"Roy asked his parents 

"you can't go out because you're grounded for getting in a fight at school"his mom told him

"It wasn't my fault he bumpped into me"Roy told his dad

"So you hit him and now it's time for you to go to sleep"said dad told him

"Night mom"Roy told his mom

"night dad"Roy told his dad

"night Roy"said his parents as he head up stairs to his room

suddenly there was a noise outside

"Who could that"said his dad as he looked towards the door

"Mom dad"said Roy as he walked down the stairs and into the living room

"Stay here Roy"his mom told him

"but mom"began Roy only to be cut off by his mom

Roy was going to say more but stopped when he saw his mothers eyes glow red telling him his mother was not kidding

"Stay here"his mom told him

"MOM DAD"yelled Roy

"ROY HIDE"yelled his mom

Suddenly Roy got scared he heard nothing but suddenly

"BANG BANG"

Roy was then running to where he knew his parents were

"MOM DAD NO WAKE UP PLEASE"cried Roy when he saw his parents on the floor with bullets in their chest

Roy then started to smell smoke and what was happening

"they're burning the house down and they locked the doors great now how am I going to get out of here"thought Roy

Roy then felt his right arm and right side of his face get hot and start burning that he screamed he knew that if he was going to get out alive he would have to find a way out but he also knew he didn't have the strength to even hit one of the doors so he did the only think he could he started to yell for his older brother and sister

"Derek Laura Derek Laura Derek help"Yelled Roy hoping his brother and sister would hear him

"Roy easy it's gonna be okay little brother"said Derek as he picked him up and ran out house out of  the door that he had just knocked down

"Come on let's get him out of here"said Laura when she saw her younger brother was out cold 

"Yeah"said Derek as they got in Laura's car and drove off 

Flashback over

"Roy Roy hey snap out of it you alright"said Derek as he shook Roy to get him 

"Yeah I'm good"Roy told him 

"Okay you go upstairs and try to get some sleep"Derek told as he gave a little shove upstairs

"OK wait where are you going"Roy asked him

"I'm gonna try and find Laura"Derek told him

"Alright"Roy told him

"You'll be okay"Derek asked him 

"Yeah I'll be fine I'm 17 not 7"Roy told him as he reached his room and Derek stood by the door.

"Alright I'll be back"Derek told him as he head out of the house and into the woods.
