Naruko reached out to grab the loaf of bread but her hand was slapped away by sakura. "What are you doing?! That's bad karma!" Naruko chuckled. "Sorry, sorry...."

An awkward pause passed as they stood at zabuza grave, before sakura spoke up solemnly. "Ka-kakashi sensei.... Were they right about ninja?" "Hm?" "Are shinobi... Tools to the villages?"

"Yes" Naruko spoke sadly, but blinked when Kurama grabbed her hand. "No" he said firmly.

"We fight for our villages, sure, but... We have families.... Friends. Lovers. Stuff like that. Stuff we have to protect. And.... We will do anything to protect them. We have emotions. Tools are lifeless, soulless things made for killing. We arent"

The twittering of birds could be heard as they stood there in silence, Naruko still stunned by her brothers words.

Finally Naruko stepped forwards, and touched the handle of zabuzas sword. "Do you think... I could take it?" She asked quietly, and kakashi eyes widened. "What?" "Well... I just feel this sword is... Calling. It's calling to me"

"Swords respond to fated owners" Sasuke replied, walking over and putting his hand on her shoulder, making her flush slightly. Kurama growled quietly.

"What if you aren't suitable?"

Naruko walked forwards and gripped it, pulling it out of the grave stone and holding it high. It glowed blue for a few seconds then went back to normal. Sasuke nodded. "That's the sign that you aren't suitable. It glows green when you are"

Naruko bit her lip in disappointment and put it back. Sasuke chuckled and put his arm around her. "C'mon, let's go"

"O-okay..." She whispered, blush intensifying, because as much as she found his flirting a joke, he was hot. Not as hot as her brother, but still smokin'

Kurama grit his teeth and tugged sasuke's arm off, shooting him a glare and wrapping his own arm around her. "Then let's go"

Sasuke immediately leaned his head on her shoulder smirking, making Kurama scowl, who did the same. As they walked to say goodbye to tazuna family, kakashi couldn't help but smirk. This is very, very interesting
