The college starts as summer vacation is over. I enter my first day of class: Physics course, which is my favorite subject since grade school to high school. I open the new locker that the stuff teacher gave me my locker number. I was about to open my locker, but it got jammed. I was about to slam it but the faint voice came, "Hey you need help over there?" The voice said and turn my head with a surprised look on my face.

Misaki is here?! Studying the same university as me?! She looks surprised as well, seeing me study here. "Uhmm. Let me help you with that." She said awkwardly as shebang a bit to open. A moment later, it opens itself, "Thanks, Misaki." I thanked her and she nervously chuckled. "No problem. Uhmm... Anna, right?" I nodded a bit as I put my stuff there and close it. We just stand there, nothing to say. The silenced and awkwardness came over the atmosphere, I break it cause I'm feeling uncomfortable, "I didn't know your studying here? I thought you have work today?" She jumps bit by sudden and chuckled a bit, "that's because I work at my part-time job, Anna." Oh, I never thought of that.

"Anyway, what class are you in?" I asked. She scratches her chin and said, "I'm in physics. You?" "Same here," I told her. So I'm going to the same class with her, I thought as I looked at my watch. Looks like it's time for me to go to class. "Do you wanna go to class with me, Misaki?" I asked her and she nodded. "Of course, and Anna." I hummed in reply, "Just call me by my nickname, you don't have to be formative about it." She smiled at me kindly. I immediately blush and look away a bit as we're heading to our class together.

While heading to our first class, she suddenly asks me, "Do you want to have lunch with me? I mean it's ok-" "Sure, why not? Besides I don't have anyone to seat with me," I said and it's true. Since Jessica and I are in different courses and schedule, I was the only one alone an entire year. "Really? Great then," She said as we enter the classroom and the professor started the lecture.

- Timeskip after first-course class is over -

I bought some food for me and I was looking at the black haired girl in this cafeteria. It took me a moment before he spotted her, eating her food at the table. She finally saw me and waved at me, "Anna! Over here!" I waved back. I walk over there and set the opposite side of the table, "Hey." "Sup." She replied while eating and chewing her lunch. I chew it quietly until I ask her a question, "Saki. Since when you know Jessica? You know my best friend?" She looked at me and answered, "I know her since we met at the music class in middle school. She's having a hard time understanding the notes so I helped her out. We become close friends since then." She explained. "But how come I never heard you before?"I asked and she simply shrugged. "Well is because-" she paused when we heard a ringtone coming from her. "Excuse me for a second."

She grabs her phone out of her pocket and her expression was kinda surprised. But why though? "Hey Anna, sorry. My best friend needs my help for something," She said as she picks her things up. "Oh, I understand. Will I see you in the class?" I asked, hoping we could continue our chat. She shook her head meaning no, "Sorry, I'm indifferent schedule course." She sighed and left me alone in the cafeteria, feeling disappointed.

I sighed, never again, get to the chance to talk to her more. After done eating my food, I went to my locker to get my stuff for the next class. I approached my locker and it surprised me. A yellow neon paper just sticks it at my locker. I grab it and read it;

Hey, Anna here's my number if we could chat with each other sometime. See ya soon
My number: 09*********

I smiled a bit, feeling a comfort what she's said to me. "Looks like I'm not alone anymore," I said to myself as I enter my second classroom.

The bell ranged as the final and the first day of my class is over. I put my stuff back in my bag and headed to the exit to put the things in my locker. When I reach to the locker, I saw a note again, sticking out in front of me. I giggled and I knew who wrote it. I took out the note and read it

Hello Anna

: ) How's our first day doing? Hopefully, it turns out to be good but for me, I kinda almost slept the entire class. But luckily you best friend, Jessica, woke me up before I sleep in class and before I'll get scolded by a professor in Advanced Algebra class. Lol ;P

Btw, your best friend is waiting for you outside at the building.

I chuckled softly, imagining of her that she'll be scolded by the professor. I exited the hallway and saw Jessica sitting on the bench near the exit gate. She saw me and waved with a smile. I smiled back, "So bestie, how's your first day?" "It feels great!" I said with a little bit of excitement and hyped at the same time. She then smirked at my reaction, "Oh? Then it seems like you looked really happier than the last time," She then leans on me and whispered to my ear, "Did she made your day?" I nodded happily as we walked down on the streets, visiting one of my favorite stores: The Antique BookStore.

"Girl, you sure love those books." She commented while standing at the entrance. I playfully glare at her and cross my arms on my chest, "Are you having a problem with my taste?" "Nope." She said and sticks her tongue out of her lips. I playfully punch her arm as we giggled. We entered the shop and we were greeted by twenty-five-year-old Mark, the owner of the book store. "Heya, you two." He said with a smile. "Hey Mark," we greeted back, "Do you have any new books in the store this month?" I asked him and he shrugged in replied. "Dunno, but if you wanna check it out about it," He pointed at the New Arrival shelf section, I thanked him and we went on separate ways. Jess is here to look at the new magazine cover of the fashion and etc, while I just looking at the new novel to read.

One by one of these new books, I got nothing to buy today. I sighed and I was to take a leave until I saw a yellow sticking out of the section of "Fictions". My curiosity got me as I pull out the book at the shelf. Looking at the cover and it says "The Misadventures of Love and Hate". I looked at the yellow paper and read it until I recognized this handwriting.

Anna,

You should try reading this book! It's amazing! This is my favorite poetic author who writes her past experience of love and hates when she was young. Btw, I came here for a visit after I finished my classes earlier. If you're reading this book, I hope it helps you to understand this one.

I smiled a bit and decided to buy this book. I went to the counter and paid for the book. After done paying, we decided to go home since she didn't find anything in the bookstore. We went in separate ways as I finally approach my home. I open the front door and I was greeted by a warm hug from my mom. "Hello, darling! How's your first day?" She asked. "I'm fine Mom, it is amazing," I told her and it's true. I was finally able to talk to her in none less from the school of mine. "Okay dear, do want some chicken salad for dinner?" "Thanks, mom, I kinda want to eat it while studying," I said and she nodded in agreement.

I headed up the upstairs, entering my room and start changing my clothes tonight clothing before studying. I sat at my chair and started to study. About a half of hour later I decided to call it a day since it's time for me to sleep soon. I yawned and stretch a bit after done studying, went to bed to sit down. Before I could sleep, I decided to read the book that she recommends. I reach out of my bag and took it out from my bag as I began to read until I saw a poetic that caught my eyes on it.

Love can be painful somehow
But things are changing fast
Like the summer breeze winds
As the new beginnings rise
Don't let the pain go through your soul

Let them go and move forward

And then I somehow felt a smile of my face. Knowing that it worth reading it.
