Chapter 2

I sighed as I waved my parents' goodbye along with Jessica and the other girls.

It's been more than a week since that accident after the graduation day. Somehow he tries to call me a few times and I just ignore it.

Yesterday, I asked their permission that I would go with them and they accepted without hesitation. I sat the back of Jessica's new Mini Cooper car as her friend, Yana sat on the front passenger seat while Mia and I had a small talk about our future plans in college this year.

Mia told me that she'll become a doctor after our college is over. She also tells me that she volunteers to help and to donate to the orphans from the Children's Home of Christ and I was proud of her.

Even though our lives changed, we still sometimes never changed our attitudes just like Mia said that. But not me really, I haven't recovered yet since from that incident.

Finally, we're here and Jess parked her car at the parking lot. I got out first and waited for the others to come out of the car. Yana suggested that we'll be going to the Women's department to find new clothes for upcoming the freshman year.

Speaking of freshman year, I haven't thought that this is my chance to change my life this year. The girls and I went to the Women's department store and start looking at new clothes.

I just look around the fancy dresses hanging at the wall while the others try their new dresses they got at the dresser room. Until then I spotted something or someone that I never forget. James the man I used to love him, was holding the brown haired girl's hand smiling while walking around the corner.

I can't believe it what I'm seeing this. He's here. Why? I'm recovery myself and yet I can't. I didn't realize that my tears were falling through my cheeks and I can't control myself anymore. I take a few steps backward and sprint to run away. Away from that player. I run around the mall, seeing all the people staring at me with a confused and worried look. I finally went to the exit to the mall and sat at the bench near the park.

I panted heavily and I cover my face with my hands. How it can be? It hurts me when I see him holding someone instead of me we used to date two years ago. Now I feel worse than anyone happened to me at this state.

I sighed and text Jessica about the situation I have.

To: Jessica

Jess, I'm sorry I just ran off somewhere. You guys have fun. I'll go home alone.

I clicked send and waited for her reply. After a few minutes, my phone ring and I look at her reply.

From: Jessica

Okay, Anna. Please don't ditch us next time. Okay? I'll see you soon.

I chuckled a bit on how my best friend is really a mother - caring like. I sighed and decided to walk around the city. I stood up and exit to the park where the city is near. I walk aimlessly around the streets until I got hungry a bit. I walk around again until I found a lovely café shop with a simple letter on the board.

The Musical Shakespeare Café

It simply said. I enter the shop and I was greeted by the people who were working at the shop. "Welcome, madam. May I take you to your sit?" the waitress said and I nodded a bit. she guided me to the table and sat on the comfortable chair.

She gave me the menu and told me that I'll take my time to order in five minutes. I scan the menu of the food and drinks and start to order, "I'll have a regular Mocha Coffee with one banana cream pie." I told the waitress as she put the list of my order. She said she'll come back at twenty to twenty-five minutes for my order.

I look around the shop they have here. They have a vintage tune box at the side of the counter, which surprisingly works in the good condition. The wall's paints were messy with a design on it. Lastly, they have a mini stage for musicians and the actors for the show.

"Good morning everyone, Welcome to our shop and I pick a song to you all." Said husky yet feminine voice,  "This song is dedicated to his girlfriend for their first anniversary. I hope you people know this song already." The coward clap or whistled and I sighed.

I was about to check my facebook on my phone until then I heard someone plays the guitar and sings the familiar song that I haven't touch so long.

Oh-oh

If you ever find your self stuck in the middle of the sea

I'll sail the world to find you.....

If you ever find your self stuck in the dark and you can't see.....

I'll be the light to guide you......

Find out what we're made of when we are called to help our friends in need.

You can count on me like one, two three I'll be there and I know when I need it,

I can count on you like four, three, two you'll be there

'cause that what are friends are supposed to do oh yeah

Ooohhhh, Ooohhhh. yeeeaaah, yeeeaaah.....

If your tossin' and your turnin' and you just can't fall asleep.......

I'll sing a song, besides you......

if you ever forget how much you really mean to me......

Every day I will remind you......

Oh-oh

Find out what is made of,

When are called to help our friends in need...

You can count on me like one, two, three, I'll be there and I know when I need it,

I can count on you like four, three, two you'll be there '

cause that what are friends are supposed to do oh yeah.....

Ooohhhh, Ooohhhh, Yeeaahh, yeeaahh......

You always have my shoulders when you cry........

I'll never let go, never say goodbye ooohhh, you know.....

You can count on me like one, two, three I'll be there and I know when I need it,

I can count on you like four, three, two you'll be there

'cause that what are friends are supposed to do Oh yeah.....

Ooohhhh, ooohhh.....

You can count on me 'cause I can count on you.

The few people clapped with applause, showing the musician appreciation. I turn my head around and saw a black haired girl smiling to the people with kindness. She's wearing a blue long sleeve checkered with dark gray ripped jeans, and her black leather boots. Her eyes were dark brown color showing with happiness and gratitude to the people.

I look at her with a confused look at her, "She looked familiar, did I met her before?" That thought of question hits me really hard. I have snapped out reality when the waitress put my food on the table. "Excuse me, can you tell me who that guitarist over there?" I asked the waitress as I point out to the direction.

She looks at my direction and chuckles a bit, "That your pointing at her, her name is Misaki Knighthood. She's our guitarist in this shop." She said with a smile. "Misaki Knighthood uh?" I repeat what she said earlier and she nodded. She told me that my drink will serve soon as she left.

Misaki Knighthood, have I know her for a long time? it feels familiar. I put my elbow down and rest on my palm, thinking deep until the waitress came back with mocha on the table.

I thanked her as she left with a smile. I was about to eat and drink my mocha when I saw something that made me curious and surprise.
