Khushi's POV

I rush outside hearing the sound of the gun and I am shocked to see a pool of blood. Not knowing whose blood it is, I start to cry fearing my sister's life. Where are the damn guards? I search the area to see if any guards were there but I see nothing. What is happening? I sit on my knees and start to cry, I suddenly feel someone's arm around me, making me feel safe. Without looking back, I hug the person but why aren't they hugging me back. I look up to see ASR staring at me. I immediately let of the hug and I also get up.

ASR (upset) - It's ok to cry Khushi...

Me (upset) - Not in front of the one who is the cause of my sorrows...

He ignores my comment and takes me towards the pool of blood I saw and I am shocked to see that the blood is not Saumya's but of someone else's and Saumya is unconscious in Rudra's arm. Oh my god, is she ok? I was about to go to her but ASR stops me by holding my arm.

ASR (worried) - I know she is your sister but right now she needs to be with her husband. They haven't had any alone time so let them, the doctor is coming and Rudra is going to take Saumya to the bedroom anyway... let them have some alone time ... please...

I look at ASR with an unsure look but looking at Rudra I could see that he needed some alone time and therefore leave them. As Rudra leaves while carrying Saumya, I look at ASR who immediately turns angry seeing someone.

ASR (angry) - What the hell? It was your responsibility to make sure Saumya doesn't get hurt... where were you when this happened?

Guy (sweating) - Sir... Sir... actually the guy who is dead right now was my partner... he saw someone aiming at Saumya Mam and therefore he ran pushed Saumya and took the bullet... I knew that she was pregnant and therefore I held her when she was about to fall ... I saw Rudra Sir coming in and therefore I left her carefully and ran behind the person... I couldn't catch them... (ASR holds his collar with anger)

ASR (angry) - What do you mean you couldn't catch him... he tried to harm my sister... do you understand MY SISTER... and you let him get away... What type of guards are you both?

I could see the fear in the guy's eyes and therefore, I try to get Arnavji... to let go of his collar... wait, did I just call him Arnavji... Oh gosh... I feel like he doesn't deserve so much hatred from me... he is trying his best to save Saumya...

Guy (scared) - Si...Sir...I got her phone though which she dropped while running... and after unlocking it... I discovered that the last person she contacted was... someone named Shashi Gupta...

DAD! What? How can that be?

Arnavji (angry) - What the... A girl did all this... Did you see her face (the guy shakes his head) you are so useless... You are fired... I can get more qualified people then you...

Arnavji snataches the phone from the guy's hand and lets him go.

Me (annoyed) - You will not fire him...

Arnavji (angry) - What the...

Me (annoyed) - You won't fire him, he saved Saumya's life...

Arnavji (angry) - But he lost the person that tried to hurt Saumya...

Suddenly he gets an idea and starts to dial someone's number on his phone.

Arnavji (angry) - Aman! Security foot... yes... NOW!

Me (annoyed and grabbing his phone) - It's fine Amanji take your time...

I cut the call and drag Arnavji inside but as I am about to enter in, I stumble upon a rock and I am about to fall when Arnavji catches me and carries me inside while for some reason I start to blush. Am I falling for him?

Saumya's POV

I open my eyes to see a tensed Rudra while the doctor is checking me. Wait, is my baby ok? I immediately put my hand on my tummy and I could feel my child inside me.

Doctor - It's fine Saumya, you and your child are just fine... Rudra, can I talk to you for a second?

Rudra nods and is about to go but I hold him back, due to my fear.

Me (scared) - Rudra, don't let me go...

Rudra (smiling) - I will never let you go, Saumya...

I stare at him with love in my eyes while he stares into my eyes, and I could see the love that I was waiting for... he truly loves me.

Doctor - Excuse me... (Rudra and I immediately break eye contact) ... she is fine now but she needs to minimise stress... so please try to minimise it... and also she will soon start craving for things... you should give her what she wants or she will get mad (laughs)... she will start her mood swings as well...

I nod at the doctor when she is giving me advice and after giving some prescriptions to me, she leaves the mansion while I get up from bed to go to uni. I know that Rudra won't let me but by going to uni and meeting my friends my stress will lesson. I somehow convince Rudra and we both head towards uni.

Khushi's POV

I stare at the footage in horror, the lady is none other then Bhavya... Saumya's life is in serious danger. I hope she hasn't gone to uni yet. I rush outside the room towards Saumya's with Anavji following me but to my shock she has already left.
