Saumya's POV

I look at bhaiya with a shocked expression. How can he betray di like this? I agree that they are strangers but even strangers have respect for each other. As bhai leaves the room, di breaks down and I try very hard to console her but she doesn't stop. Rudra is about to come towards di to help me but I hold out my hand to stop him.

Me (angry) - Stay in your limits, Rudra Singh Oberoi... you claim that my di is your di as well but you... you didn't stand by her when she needed you... you showed a lack of trust...you don't deserve to be trusted.

Rudra ignores me and makes di drink water, which makes her calm a little.

Rudra (annoyed) - I am sorry di, but if I had to choose between the guy that despite not being my blood-related brother...supported me and fulfilled all my wishes...and the girl that is like a sister to me... then.... I will choose my brother... and Saumya I never showed a lack of trust on di, I showed confidence on my brother saying that there must be a reason behind his actions...and since we are talking about trust... then... (upset)... you are the one lacking trust on me...

Di (confused) - What are you talking about Rudra? And Saumya, Rudra is right... even I would choose you over him... I am not at all upset with him, as I realised now that what he did was right...

Di gets up and goes with Anjali di to some place, while Rudra turns towards me and is about to say something when I shoot him a glare.

Rudra (ignoring my glare) - Why don't you believe me? It's not my fault...

Me (annoyed) - How many times do I have to tell you? YES! IT IS! I trusted you... Rudra... but you broke it... I even trusted you after that incident... but...that waiter...that waiter... said that you were the one... that told him to ...

Rudra (annoyed) - Stop Saumya! I wouldn't even dream of doing this to you...that waiter must have lied to you... and even if I did .... Why would I get drunk as well?

Why would he?

Me (annoyed) - Maybe, so that you look like a victim as well... (upset)... you have no idea what you did Rudra... we crossed the limit Rudra... and I won't blame you... because... if I didn't drink those stupid drinks with you... then ... maybe... we wouldn't have this situation.

Rudra (upset) - I know Sum...I mean Saumya... but... I will find the culprit... I will prove my innocence ...

Rudra leaves the living room while I wipe those tears from my eyes. I trust you Rudra, I know you will prove your innocence. I have faith in you Rudra, but unfortunately, the proofs are all against you and I have already been a fool once, I will not be one again. This time, sorry Rudra but I will choose to believe the proof.

After a Week

Today is di's and bhaiya/jiju's haldi rasam. Even though, I am upset with bhaiya for ruining my di's life, I kind of think that he is going to be the world's best jiju. He is completely opposite of di, which makes their relationship so cute, kind of wish that I have someone as well. I haven't seen Rudra since the day I confronted him. I wonder if he is fine, I can't wait to see him today, am I falling in love with him? Anyway, back to di and jiju's wedding, it took di a long time to convince both her parents for the marriage as mum thinks that jiju would ruin di's life while dad thinks that there are other solutions. In the end, di obviously won and....

Khushi's POV

As I am putting my briefcase in the car, I see Saumya about to faint. I drop the things in my hand and I rush up to her to save her. These last few days, haven't been good for her. She has been vomiting for a few days and also this is her second time today that she has fainted. I keep telling her to see the doctor, but no, she doesn't listen. This girl, I will forcefully take her today to see the doctor.

Me (catching Saumya) - SAUMYA!

Mum and dad come rushing outside, but then mum goes inside not caring at all seeing Saumya's condition while dad helps me carry Saumya to the chair.

Mum (splashing some water on Saumya) - Get up

By looking at mum's expression, I could see the worry she holds for Saumya, but then why did she fake being mean? Saumya suddenly starts to gain some consciousness and she holds her head as she gets up.

Saumya (confused) - How am I here?

Me/mum/dad (worried) - Are you ok?

Saumya looks surprised hearing our worried tone, doesn't she remember what happened?

Me (worried) - We are seeing the doctor today... after my haldi ritual...

Sauma carefully gets up and then gives me that excitement smile to cover up her fear. I know you too well Saumya.

Saumya (fake excitement) - Di, let's get changed... and we will see the doctor later today.

I drag Saumya with me to the room to get changed, while dad and mum clean up my mess after dropping the luggage.

Me (upset) - I lied... I lied that I am marrying that idiot as I have fallen in love with him... I know it's bad to lie... but it made mum and dad less stressful... and it convinced them
